-fast charge should work by default unless you change to an incompatible kernel
-do not use a module to fix
-i suggest trying sixteen kernel (from official TG) DL according to your rom (A10/11/oos)

New phone setup --- help

Hi Zuk fans,
I just bought Zuk z2, two days ago. I heard like, there are heading issues with this phone. So I would like to under clock the phone. Currently, I'm on 7.o stock..
My question....
1) can I under clock CPU to 1.9 on stock ROM? If yes, how to do that and plz let me know the process and what all required for this.
2) I would like to downgrade to 6.0 as this enables 24 bit dac on our device. So, how to downgrade on a locked and non rooted phone???
3) is there any custom kernel that supports stock OS???
This information might help other new users as well...
Thanks

2) Use QFIL and flash 2.3.042 (China) or 2.0.133 (India).
3) As I know there are no custom kernels which will work on stock.

You can root without any problems.
Don't know anything about underclock, because I don't interested in such operations.

You can use kernel audiutor to underclock
@srihari210 seems that jaguar kernel is working on stock rom, although it wasn't supposed to, but with some limitations, as you can see in this post: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=74071330&postcount=296
i hadn't used the stock rom for much time, but you can try to root it (with magisk maybe, i don't know) and set cpu frequencies with kernel adiutor
good luck
But my device don't have any heating issue? It runs on stock frequency 2.15.

What about heavy gaming??? I think it's safe to have 1.9 Freq....

(Q) P20 Pro: How to enable quick charge on Treble ROM's

Hi all,
Not sure if any info gained can be used to fix other devices but after using RR which is brilliant btw.
Quick / fast / super charge, non work. I get about 1070mA max from the native Huawei charger.
Have tried the only two Magisk modules available, not sure what to alter to get it to work.
Have read other users who've made a tweak for the kernel.
Anyone any ideas?
Be good to get some fixes done so we can get rid of the issues which are affecting all of us.
Currently on Oreo 8.1 Resurrection Remix.
did you mean fast charge for revolt kernel of magisk module? do you use revolt kernel? fast charge comes from (custom) kernel or any tweaks for specific kernel. you have to find custom kernel that supports fast charge.

What kernel? There isnt a single kernel in the development section for the p20 pro?
Link me to it if you know of it..
Personally I've washed my hands of treble..currently using AICP from the honor 10 which has fingerprint and super charge working.
Strangely though, the fingerprint button can't be used for navigation which sucks but besides that it's just fine.

so you meant when you were using aicp gsi you got fingerprint and fast charge working but not on rr? so it might be from gsi's bugs then. about magisk module you mentioned as far as i know it's for revolt kernel so it won't work if you're not using revolt kernel. i don't know if there's revolt kernel for your device, neither any custom kernels. i'm using ido unofficially treble-enabled which has kernel that doesn't support fast charge.

No mate the Berkeley ROM for the honor 10 which is AICP.
Which works fine..
There are no kernels for the p20 pro.
And I only tried that magisk module to see if it would hell.

so you are using stock kernel that supports fast charge? so it's rr bugs then. wait for rr dev.

? Yea I know mate, I was seeing if anyone knew, seeing as asking anything treble in the respective treble thread is pretty much a waste of time, as is asking in their q+a as everyone has a different device.
If you don't know how to fix it pal, just avoid posting.
Cheers.

Question USE STOCK CHARGER IN CUSTOM ROM

hi all friends. I want to ask, I use AOSP custom rom and is it safe to use the 33 Watt built-in charger, and I see the current is up to 5000mA using Franco Kerne Manager, Thanks

Any ROM you install the battery provided in the phone supports the stock charger so it is safe to charge the phone with the 33W charger.

Question Can anyone give me recommendations on good performance kernels for Poco F3.

I need help good kernels for max performance for Poco F3
I add my request here. I'm looking for a good kernel that doesn't break PlayStore security updates* on MIUI 14 stable and encrypted. I know it's like asking for a white unicorn but I'm sure this kernel is somewhere available in the internet
*
Since March update every kernel I've tried brings a force and silent reboot and after phone turns on, PlayStore System Update requires a 18mb download, that leads to a new crash after reboot and to a loop of this process...

Tried nogravity, realking, baalam, immensity but all have this problem now.
Edit
Actually I've tried nexus v16 as suggested by @ndez and finally everything seems working fine
Only advice, since Nexus kernel's dev said that his work doesn't support MIUI roms, I had to flash stock dtbo to get some functions back (like 2 fingers zoom in pictures etc.)
Thanks @ndez for your suggestion
