Opinions on PixelExperience ROM for Pixel 2XL - Google Pixel 2 XL Questions & Answers

Hi,
There's been a hype out there for Pixel Experience ROMs that's being developed for non-Pixel devices. Today my brother was saying about Pixel Experience being developed for Pixel 2 XL devices (reference).
It's still in beta and no stable releases yet. (stable seems to be planned for March). Have anyone here tried Pixel Experience ROM for Pixel 2 XL yet? If yes, what's added additionally apart from the stock ROM and is it really worth moving to Pixel Experience from stock, if stable version of Pixel Experience is released?
Thanks,
Gokul.

Pixel 3 features on OG Pixel XL?

Hi! Is there a way to get the feature of Pixel 3, such as a ROM, or apks on the OG Pixel XL?
A lot of features that are not hardware dependant will come to the older pixels without needing to make any changes. Some will remain a pixel 3 exclusive for a month or so but will eventually roll out to older pixels. Here is a great article about it.

Pixel 5 Support

I’m in the market for a new phone and would like to use LineageOS or possibly GrapheneOS and I like the security of the Pixel 3+ line. I need the fingerprint reader, so Pixel 4 line isn’t really an option, so I’m considering Pixel 3/3a XL or the 5. What I’m wondering is whether any developers are gearing up to support Pixel 5 LineageOS and what opinions are on the likely timeframe for that given the recent flood of support for the Pixel line. Are we talking weeks, months, or a year before it’s realistic to run LineageOS reliably on the Pixel 5? What’s been the timeframe for other new phones in the past?

Pixel 5 ships with android 11. So there will be no official lineageOS as long as 18.x isn't officially released. Maybe next year.

Thanks! Does that mean it would be impossible for LineageOS 17.1 (Android 10 based) to work on a Pixel 5 or that it’s unlikely that anyone would bother wasting their time on a short lived endeavor?

What Android version is better for 3XL in 2020?

Hi there! Tomorrow I will receive a new pixel 3 XL, so it will be on Android 9. Now I have Pixel og on Nougat with well-working root etc, and I know that there are some difficulties when rooting Android 10. So I have a question: what Android version is better and well-optimised for Pixel 3 XL? I heard that 3 XL works worse on newer system versions because of Google in some reviews. Is this true? What about the battery life and camera quality? On what Android are they better?

Question Pixel stand

Does anyone know how to get the pixel stand gen 2 working on a custom rom because it seems like none of the custom roms support the pixel stand... I've tried downloading the pixel stand app and it does nothing
