But the problems comes when i tried to play games, it has something like appguard that detect root. i can't bypass the security guard with magisk hide. and i assume there is something wrong with my magisk, because my old phone (MIA2) can bypass that with magisk hide and my MIA2 doesn't even bypass safetynet.
Installed magisk module:
-Magisk hide props
-Busybox
-Riru
-Riru edxposed
-Systemless host
-Universal safetynet fix
What i tried byfar:
-Change the magisk manager package
-Turn off developer mode
-Using Xprivacylua to prevent the game to read my installed app
None of them fix the problem
Try using my app VD INFOS, you can see every detectable thing. (Root/Magisk/Xposed/Riru/and others.)
And then you can fix what needs to be fixed.

You are welcome, my friend. Enjoy.
Unfortunately, no one cares to hide riru and I'm not sure what libriruhide really does.
So, it's easily detectable.

yeah, I use hidding feature and it does nothing, the app still detected it, i just downgrade to riru v21.3 and the problem solved.
do the new version of riru 23.9 have this problem?
@QuaZero @paul999 any update? wish i can do this trick
i have magisk hide, EDxposed and LSposed installed, with hiddencore module + XprivacyLua.
use EDxposed hide too, none of them hide the root from the game, still detect root.
mine android 10, can it be the problem?
yes i found a trick to get around the bank app of mine... it may not work on every app....first open the app, it will said you are rooted blah blah blah... then wipe the the app clean from memory, reopen the app and you are done. remember to go lsposed and in xprivacy to select the app you want to prevent from getting your app list

Hi all.
I make clean install of stable 8.5.2.0 from xiaomi.eu and now I have problems with Magisk.
On weekly builds I installed Magisk v12 containing hide fix + xiaomi safetynet fix and everything works file. Root and SafetyNet. But right now, when I Install, Root don't work but safetyNet does.
When I flash Magisk v12 downloaded via Magisk Manager, root works, but safetynet don't.
Any solution?
So right now it looks like:

Are you using Xposed? If yes, try removing it.

No, ofc no. I use magisk on dev/beta releases before and I know I can't have Xposed or SuperSU.
I tried it for a week and safetynet test was always working.
The problem is that, even if locked and with no restriction on battery use, it was randomly loosing root.
I installed Magisk12.0_Hide_fixed and then xiaomi-safetynet-fix from TWRP.
Then I updated the manager from Play Store and reboot.
Any idea?
In the meanwhile I switched back to SuperSu.
BTW I also tried installing systemless SuperSu and then Magisk but root wasn't working at all.
I should try that again after the recent SuperSu updates.
Hello, I just figured out what are the differences and made my custom update to get Magisk v14 on the current rom from arceoxis.
Wht i did? I just copied a few files and some lines to the install script.
Download: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B8MwnzXpkFQhOURiVmpxY1FNSW8
Instructions: flash from TWRP and hope it works

Great work! I can confirm that this version can be installed on ResurrectionRemix rom as well. I manage to get xposed v25 installed too.
But whey I do safetyNet check, I see both ctsProfile and basicIntegrity are set as false even though I have switched my SELinux to enforcing mode and removed all SuperSU related stuff based on this android.gadgethacks link. Any ideas how to fix that? or is it an issue?

To be honest im new to magisk and i barely know what safetynet is. I just reproduced the work from the rom with the same modifications adapted for the new version.
BTW: Can you BTW confirm if the kernel in RR is the same as the other rom? ([email protected] #1 Fri 8/Sept)

Try Universal SafetyNet Patch module, it should solve it.
WARNING : Install it with TWRP, not via magisk update. I did it, I've to reinstall the ROM and all my params...

You cannot pass safetynet check with Xposed installed at all.
If you want to pass safetynet, install Magisk only and use the safetynet patch module in magisk, but do not install xposed.
Ok so i was using Google Pay on oreo with full root using Magisk didn't even have to have GPAY ticked under Magisk Hide, only my banking app to allow fingerprint login. But since updating to the official PIE via ODIN and rerooting i no longer get GPAY is there any possible way i can get round this issue on PIE as that feature was really handy
My Phone history (Galaxy S9 SM-G960F)
Pie: Official FW + Root + Magisk 17.2 + TGP Kernel
Pie: Official FW + Root + Magisk 18.1 + TGP Kernel

Fine here.
Using canary build, make sure to clear cache in play services and gpay.
Enable hide
Hide magisk
All fine.
Aye did that but didn't solve my issue ? knox is tripped but pretty sure that was from the first time I rooted on oreo and pay worked perfectly

Hi.
How did you manage to do this after all? Tks
Hi there, i installed the December update (ending with A5 for AU) yesterday. I also rooted with magisk (23016) and so far everything was working fine.
However today when I wanted to pay for my coffee i realized that google pay has stopped working. I checked Magisk and google pay was no longer enabled in the Denylist (I have zygisk enabled and enforce DenyList checked as well). I enabled it again and also checked to see if play store, play services framework are checked and they are. Rebooted a couple times cleared data on google pay rebooted again but now its not letting me set up my cards in the first place. Please see attached screenshot.

Hi I just checked the Magisk module and the module was actually disabled because zygisk was enabled. I have installed the latest SafetyFix 2.2.0. Cleared google pay data and now i was able to set up my cards haha. Thanks for your help!

You're welcome, glad it was something easy. Yep, the old Safety Net fix couldn't co-exist with Zygisk.
I don't know if it's just me, but I updated to C.47 by:
Magisk uninstall, restoring stock images.
installing the update
Magisk install to inactive after OTA completes
Reboot.
I have 4 modules. USNF, osm0sis busybox binary, debloater and systemless hosts.
The only way I was able to get them to work was by disabling all modules, rebooting, finding the google play store APK download from APKMirror and installing it.
Now, I have randomly cloned APKs, but they were only ones I debloated. I debloated again and they vanished.
I admit this thread might be a huge waste of your time to read, but if someone is having this trouble, it might bail them out
I am in same situation like u with Google play store and Google services play crash .I try everything but no luck .finally idowngrade to os 11. But I'm very intested to know why Google applications crash .The only magisk module installed is : Octavia dialer A12.
Wow, good to know this is happening and that you found a workaround. I guess I'll probably wait a few days to install this and see if other people are having issues.

I've just discovered a workaround isign the app force LTE/5G. With this app is possible to open the Network settings and force the 5G as it was possible in Android 11 using *#*#4636#*#*

go to magisk, uninstall magisk. pick restore images. DO NOT REBOOT. install the update. go back to magisk. install magisk to inactive slot. reboot
i'd disable whatever modules you have enabled.

Zygisk is fine, only installed modules should be disabled when you update to avoid possible issues. Most modules won't have any issues, though.
