Ok so i was using Google Pay on oreo with full root using Magisk didn't even have to have GPAY ticked under Magisk Hide, only my banking app to allow fingerprint login. But since updating to the official PIE via ODIN and rerooting i no longer get GPAY is there any possible way i can get round this issue on PIE as that feature was really handy
My Phone history (Galaxy S9 SM-G960F)
Pie: Official FW + Root + Magisk 17.2 + TGP Kernel
Pie: Official FW + Root + Magisk 18.1 + TGP Kernel

Fine here.
Using canary build, make sure to clear cache in play services and gpay.
Enable hide
Hide magisk
All fine.
Aye did that but didn't solve my issue ? knox is tripped but pretty sure that was from the first time I rooted on oreo and pay worked perfectly

Hi all.
I make clean install of stable 8.5.2.0 from xiaomi.eu and now I have problems with Magisk.
On weekly builds I installed Magisk v12 containing hide fix + xiaomi safetynet fix and everything works file. Root and SafetyNet. But right now, when I Install, Root don't work but safetyNet does.
When I flash Magisk v12 downloaded via Magisk Manager, root works, but safetynet don't.
Any solution?
So right now it looks like:

Are you using Xposed? If yes, try removing it.

No, ofc no. I use magisk on dev/beta releases before and I know I can't have Xposed or SuperSU.
I tried it for a week and safetynet test was always working.
The problem is that, even if locked and with no restriction on battery use, it was randomly loosing root.
I installed Magisk12.0_Hide_fixed and then xiaomi-safetynet-fix from TWRP.
Then I updated the manager from Play Store and reboot.
Any idea?
In the meanwhile I switched back to SuperSu.
BTW I also tried installing systemless SuperSu and then Magisk but root wasn't working at all.
I should try that again after the recent SuperSu updates.
Removes Lockscreen wallpaper dimming tint and the notification pulldown tint as well. Flash in TWRP. For stock roms.

I don't know why some people have problems and some don't on Magisk. My suggestion is to remove Magisk, reroot, use regular one to get where you want to be, then install Magisk manager.

1. may you install google installer
2. better you convert your bs3 to global. i tried, CN joyui12.5 then convert to global. and global rom just fine for google services
Hello, thanks for your reply.
I will never move to global rom because cn rom is very stable, not global one.
I used OURPLAY and everything works now.
Do you have a link to download CN JoyUI? Could you send it to me, please?
No, i used OTA update.
Try this

I tried OURPLAY but Google assistant not work at all, also Maps, and i can not turn on Face unlock. Help me to fix this. Thanks.
Found this solution to fix everything:
-Root w Magisk
-install Magisk hide props (to configure the fingerprint props via terminal)
-install Gapps core by Wacko1805
-enjoy everything workin (remember to set all permission 4 every app)

thats after downgrading to 11? I remember this and I cant remember if I had downgraded, factory reset or upgraded to get rid of it.
Mine has done this as well! It started off with just Google being like that, and the DW joined it. I'm running a custom kernel and I'm rooted with Magisk. Have you got a similar setup?

Are you staying on 11 or updating to 12? If you're on 11 which version? When I downgraded and went to 11.8.8 or whatever it was like this. Flash update to both slots and see if that helps
@AndroidsKings that work?
Just uninstall updates for digital wellbeing and all will be fine
Anyone else had this issue, or any known fix for this? Had just flashed SparkOS.

Right on cue, just got my phone working again. I saw this method, and flashed EU ROM via orange fox from Spark OS. Phone sadly got bricked. At the time, MiFlash wasn't recognizing my device and all I could do was fastboot.
Lots of YouTube and 3 hours later, finally was able to sideload stock ROM, then MiFlashed to clean everything, then installed SparkOS again. L1 is back.
I'm thinking the L1 certificate got lost due to Magisk?
Nice, I don't think it's a magisk issue, I've installed and still widevive is l1
Cool! I think I'll pass Magisk for now haha. The trauma!
In any case, if ever I do get Magisk again, can I see what ur modules are?
I'm using sparkOS too, still have it
