S10+ Korean version 975N much cheaper, any thoughts?

Hi guys,
Here is my dilemma: I live in Vietnam and I can get the Korean S10+ 512GB for about $770 (vs. $990 for the international version).
The phone is SKT branded, but I guess there will be a way to flash the unbranded Korea firmware. Can anyone confirm it's possible?
Also, the Korean version can only take 1 SIM but if it is like the previous Galaxy S, the hardware should be there, it's purely a firmware limitation. How hard is it to install the international version firmware (F/DS) on the Korean version? If possible, will I still get OTA? Will I need to unlock the bootloader?
Thanks for your help!

I don't know that you could install the international firmware on the Korean device. I know the Canadian models (W) can flash the US (U/U1) versions. Id just get some confirmation before trying it as to not brick the device.

is the SM-G960U (US model) still boot locked?

Has there been any progress rooting the US version of the S9 (Snapdragon chipset), or is the only rootable version still the F model with the Exynos chipset?
Have any of the later US versions (S10, etc) been successfully rooted?
It is still bootlocked unfortuantely.
Thanks. It can be hard to find clear info, since the forums aren't sortable by chipset/sub-model, only by the commercially advertised name.
Thanks for the help!

SM-G9880 Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G Unlocked from Hong Kong

So I bought another Galaxy S20 ultra Unlocked on ebay from Hong Kong. Was able to unlock bootloader with no problem install Magisk. So everything is great but I have tried several times to install us firmware via Odin with no success.
Question: do I have to? To be able to use in US? When I try to see if imei can work with lets say Boost Mobile they don't recognize the imei... also when i went to register phone on Samsung HK website says phone is already registered.
Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks

Snapdragon Hong Kong is slightly different from the snapdragon US.
At least in my s9+ snapdragon is what happen, only be able to use rooms from south America and Asia like China.
I guess in the s20 series is the same. Snapdragon Canada and US is different than Hong Kong , Asia and south America
