Unlocked bootloader, I only want Google Apps on my fire stick 4k - Fire TV Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I've unlocked the bootloader and have TWRP installed. But when I install a ROM or magisk or whatever, I'm stuck on the fire tv bootloader. What is the most easiest way to install gapps / google play store to my fire stick 4k?

I installed this ROM: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...k-4k-prerooted-android-tv-rom-6-2-7-6.4208859
It comes with everything you know from the original FireTV 4k and Google automatically works.

Post this in the Q and A section so as to not flood the development forum with threads unrelated.

[Q] Can't install google marketplace. Tried several things.

I'm sorry for starting a new thread, but I've tried several things on this board and nothing seems to work.
I rooted my fire a while back with Kindle Fire Utility with no problems. I had google marketplace and then installed twrp, so I'm not a total noob.
However, after rooting my friend's kindle, the marketplace doesn't show up, and nothing I do after scouring the internet seems to let me install it.
Do you recommend that I install twrp, and wipe the whole kindle clean and retry or what?
What might be the reason that I installed everything easily on mine, but not his? Will wiping the kindle clean fix this issue?
Watch Nat3mil do it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rTkegVrnAvA or the kindle fire utility 0.9.3 has it under extras selection 2 google apps/go launcher
That's just it. I installed the extras and it added all of the apps but the store. That didn't happen to me before, and is what is so strange. I'm watching Nate's video.
The KFU has been know for not being able to installed Google play store, so here are the intructions I used.
Pre requisites:
Your device must be rooted.
Note: Lots of ROMS out there have Google play store and apps already installed. There is even a rom called MoDaCo that uses the kindle fires stock UI but comes with market installed. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1439916
1. Download Google play http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1583888 and Googleservicesframework. Apk

2. Move the Google play store to system/apps
3. Install Googleservicesframework apk like a normal application.
4. Reboot your device

How to install Gapps on Fire TV 2

Can someone tell me how to successfully install Google play on the Amazon fire TV 2, I am well aware that this guy requires root and my fire TV is rooted I would like to install Google play so that I can sign into my Google account as well as download paid apps I have purchased on Google play

Rooted Firestick 4K reboots after opening Prime Video

My 4k firestick is attached to my Sony Android TV and I haven't tried using Prime Video on the Firestick for quite some time as I usually watch Prime Video via Android TV on the Sony. When I recently tried Amazon Prime on the Firestick I had audio for about 10 seconds but no video and the the Firestick rebooted. On a second try there was 10 seconds or so of audio and no video and then the firestick froze. There was no response to any button on the controller and I had to physically disconnect power to get it to reboot. I'm on the latest version 6.2.8.1 of the OS.
My firestick is rooted and I've extended the internal memory onto a USB. I have also installed the Launcher Manager and the Wolf launcher.
Oddly, Amazon Prime will play trailers but not the main video ?? Other streaming sources such as the BBC iPlayer work fine.
Has anyone else experienced this or can offer an explanation/fix for this ?
This is discussed in other forum post also,
Just update TZ via twrp.

Thank you for your prompt response. In the meantime I installed mantis-6.2.8.1-rooted_r2.zip but it has led to the disappearance of TWRP so I can't try your solution. Thank you all the same.

Flashing rbox's prerooted rom in no was can remove your TWRP.
If you flashed his rom on top of older roms (i.e <8.0) then your efuse should be intact. By judging that you are able to boot your stick means you haven't performed any modifications. Also means you haven't disabled OTA on your stick.
I think you should try to unlock once again, after that disable OTA.

Leanback on Fire TV Launcher crashing on Fire TV Stick 4K

Recently I tried install the Leanback on Fire Launcher on my Fire TV stick 4K. It was working just fine for a few days but now whenever I boot it up it instantly crashes. Does anyone know how how I could fix this or what might be wrong with the app?
My Fire TV Stick is Unlocked and Rooted with Magisk
The Firmware version is Fire OS 6.2.8.1-r3 pre-rooted with Accessibility and OTA-updates Patched.
[Thread for the Rom I'm using]
Update: I'm an idiot, I had a faulty version of GMS (from a failed manual gapps install) installed that was causing it to crash. I removed it and now it's no longer crashing.
