Hello everyone, my RM was working very fine to connect the usb c to hdmi , after updating it to V8 now all hubs are not recognising my phone, other phones are connected normally
Any help , i can't stream like before
Backup, then clean cache and wipe memory, reinstall the update with the phone clean, this worked, anyway I'm sad with this phone, great specs, bad effort in the optimization, I play better with my Xiaomi mi 8, it's more optimized, that phone will not last more than 4 months. Sad

Hi ,
Im having probs after installing AS4.0 / 4.1 It insalls fine but when I connect via USB I get this error.
STOP 0x0000000a (0x002effd0,0x00000002,0x00000000,0x80500b3a)
I'm running XP proffessional SP2 and am up to date with fixes etc. Funnily enough I don't get this error on my HP Laptop just my work thinkpad , oh and I tried it on my mates OQO and that bluescreens and restarts.
Is this a hardware fault even though it appears to work ok on the HP.
Hope you can help
Had a similar problem with my old computer.
Was told by Microsoft technical support that it was a driver problem but they could not specify the device that was given me the trouble.
Didn't remedy the problem as it was only a Duron 800 which is now in the bin, lol.
Hope this could be of some help......
I had this problem once with a new build PC but this was due
to bad memory timing settings in the BIOS.
It had nothing to do with anything else.
Is your PC overclocked?
Hi , no it's not overclocked. I spent the good part of yesterday disabling cache etc , but still gives the error. I am wondering if it could be a Hardware problem on the PC or on the USB side of the device. It works with activesync via infra red .
Cheers
stability issue with the USB stack, if you can change drivers to "something else" in Device manager then do so.
Thanks Oli,
Sorry I am a bit technical but when you mean change them to something else in the device manager do you mean move them or remove some other drivers using the device manager and then reinstall ?
Desperate now )

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
after bricking my SGS2 with CM11 in course of loading a new pit-file I put my hands on my girlfriend's Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 to get the latest stable CM12.1. However, after loading CM12.1 I cannot use USB-OTG properly anymore.
Unfortunately (or luckily) I couldn't find any threads handling same or similar problems on google, xda and other related German forums.
Previously, under Stock ROM the Tab Pro was capable of powering a USB-OTG-Hub (we're using this one: leicke.eu/en/products/DS38599 but there are a whole lot usb otg hubs out there which look exactly the same but are of another brand) including two 32gb FAT32-USB-Sticks plus one SDHC-Card and also capable of read/write data from one USB-source to another. (My girlfriend is using the Tab Pro as a replacement of an image tank simply by taking said USB-OTG-Hub and a USB-Stick + camera's SD-Card in order to backup photos during travelling.)
Now, we face the following problem(s) under CM12.1:
USB-OTG-Hub can only be used as far as solely the integrated SD-Card-Reader is used
USB-Sticks (FAT32) are not recognised and can't be used
Even when using the additional power cable to provide direct power to the hub, it doesn't work
in the dropdown-notification bar I'm missing the "safely remove USB-Device" as under stock ROM
when using the "safely remove USB-device"-function under Settings/Storage it says, "USB device will be removed" but it is never actually removed. When physically disconnecting the USB-hub CM12.1 complains that usb-device had been removed and shall be replaced. Unmounting with Stock ROM works just fine.
Summarized we have the following problems:
- can't read USB sticks
- can't unmount USB devices properly
What I have done so far in order to narrow down the failure:
tried Total Commander plus Paragon's USB plugin
used latest CM12.1 official (cm-12.1-20151007-SNAPSHOT-YOG4PAO335-mondrianwifi)
used one of the latest CM12.1 nightlies still available (cm-12.1-20151123-NIGHTLY-mondrianwifi)
using latest TWRP (twrp-2.8.7.0-mondrianwifiue.img.tar)
using latest SuperSU (UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46)
rolled back to Stock ROM and everything just works fine; Therefore I assume that's a configuration error or a CM12.1 error
What I will do next:
- try CM13 once the USB-OTG issues are finally resolved there
Is there anything else I can do to resolve this issue?
Is there a chance to get support for CM12.1 now that CM13 is out?
Would appreciate if anyone can help me out with some ideas or even professional know-how since I'm already pretty desperate having a working otg-platform and at the same time a real android phone.
Thanks a lot in advance.
Best regards,
cipp80
Hi guys, I have a big problem with my Asus Zenfone 2 ze551ml. I bought it from china so I didnt have Google Play and I used to download every app I needed from Aptoide. But yesterday I decided to give it a try and change the firmware. I read every article on "how to", most of them were saying the same steps, so I started by downloading everything I needed, the WW firmware from asus site, the usb drivers, the adb program etc. Everything was going great, and I came to that point that you just have to send via adb the package with the WW firmware and... my laptop(which is an Asus, lol) stopped recognising my phone. Then I started reading tons of threads on how to fix that problem but nothing. I did everything.
Download the intel usb drivers for android- done
Manually install the usb drivers from Asus- done
Uninstall everything and trying one driver at a time- done
Usb debugging-MTP, all these things again and again- done
Tried every single usb cable and port- done
Tried 3 different computers- done
Wipe cache partioning and try all the above steps again- done
Wipe all user data back to default- done
And nothing.. I mean nothing, my phone is invisible to any computer. Is anything else I can do? What's left? To throw my phone away? Now everything in my phone is tiny, the app icons are tiny, the fonts are tiny, even the fb messenger bubble is tiny.. pls help me.. :crying:
my problems and solution for you
Hellooo, not all hope i lost...
Firstly the problem I have similar to you is that my ZF2 runs on CN firmware, which is the biggest struggle ever trying to find the only working APK app files, I was happily trying to install WW firmware (even though it had the playstore, as it was some sort of modded brand new phone front eBay) and I accidely pressed the button which wipes everything :') So I go 3 days figuring out how to make my phone start as another issue had arrised, I fix it with some 3rd party bootloader...and ever since January I've been living this almighty stuggle.
FUNNY THING IS...I KNOW EXACTLY HOW TO FIX IT...but my Acer laptop has an old version of the ADB driver which I cannot get rid of OR UPDATE and I have no access to another pc
As for your issue, by some miracle you read this...
1) make sure you're using a data cable (one that shows you're phone in the Windows library list n all)
2) if you're not seeing or hearing what I said...go in your phones setting punch the fu...I mean tap the "about " option right at the bottom 7 times, and you should now have unlocked the Dev Options...
Now, back to the settings list, press Dev Options which is above the about option, scroll down a little and enable "USB Debugging" press yes/allow...what ever the **** comes up and looks good and wulluh.
3) Now, if actually you've already done step 2 and have tried 3 laptops :0...try step 1 again
4) If you followed step 3s very very complex instructions to a level of hope that binning the phone or suicide are options then by all means set it on fire then throw it at your ex gf...if you have one...concidering you bought an Asus phone lol, mug
5) try this other thing that works but is just as hopeless by finding it on YouTube, searching "Asus ZenFone2 Flash" with the "past month" filter there should be a video with the thumbnail of an Indian man with a blue shirt and glasses, click on it...watch closely n stuff.
Hope it works out and that you found my profecional instructions helpful - Lewis

That's his issue, same for me, ADB does not show in device manager. Unless you mean installing the driver by right clicking on the phones name?
Hello everyone.
I have 2 problems with LineageOS on Oneplus One.
First HDR does not work properly. I can not do a photo with HDR enabled.
My another problem is with WIFI. Many times I have lost connection to internet without report, and I must reconnect manually. My phone is connected to router but without internet. It is very annoying problem for me.
I fashed:
lineage-14.1-20170206-nightly-bullhead-signed.zip,
Gapps Android 7.1/Lineage os ARM Pico ( other did not work because of low free space of disk. I have 50 gb free. Weird )
Latest Super Su.zip
I flashed them all at once. Was it good idea? Or I should flash them separately ?
Of course I did clean wipe before installation and Wipe Dalvik, cache after installation.
Thanks for replies
I have the same problem with the wifi... i don't know if it is a firmware / modem problem... i have this version: "2015_05-15_DI.3.0.c6-00241"
The camera problem its reported and with be resolved in the future...
And another problem. My phone has not been detected by computer. I can not transfer music
Any idea to solve it? There is an icon "eject MTTP" but no folder with phone on my computer.
File transfer is not working, but photo is working. Weird
I solved problem with the wifi. Just instal the latest room
Hi.
I don't why this worked for me or if it might even work for you, but what I did was locate the following file 'wpdmtp' in C:\Windows\INF.
I right-clicked on it and updated it.
Suddenly, my PC recognised my Lumia 535, even though if I try to update the driver I still get the same error.
Well, as long as my phone shows up, I don't really care. Hope that helps.

Hi
I upgraded my asus to the 4.21.40.223 with no issues.
like I have an issue an issue with my GPS FIX, I did a reset of my phone, via the recovery mode :
- wipe data /factory reset
and
- Wipe cache partition
and when I turn on it, I put my gmail account, but the phone doesn't reconize me. (I put the same G account than before the reset : the phone request a previous account already used with the phone)
When I check my G account, the name of the phone is changed to ASUS Z00AD, previouly it was Asus ZenFone 2.
may be it s due to this change I cannot use my phone... :crying:
any ideas?
should I flash all the phone (like the brick phone procedure?)

Re ... last comment, NO-Keep away from xFSTK
Make sure you have stock recovery first ?
Try a factory reset within settings .
If fail there , downgrade to LP using ext SD card ..in my signature below, which factory resets to .196 LP,set it up .
Then put ... M .223 on ext SD like in video of downgrade... and reboot .
Bingo !
Bingo !
it s worked !
I flahed to Lolipop, and reflash to M, with the SD card solution.
Perfect,
thanks.
I ve still my GPS issue : no satelites.. I have this issue since I unpluged and replug the battery connector (my phone was not responding).
I will check if I closed my phone correctly.
