Cant find any S20 / Android 9+ threads with an app or mod to get this devops setting to STAY switched on
I can enable force dark mode, but a) it turns off after every reboot and b) it seems to turn off after a period of time if no reboots have taken place (I think...)

Is there a way to disable the Google screen with the unlocked lock at boot up? It takes my phone ages to reboot (running akop19 with black exodus theme w/ SD card boost and sysctl(?) Start up tweaks so that might be the reason it takes long to leave the boot animation). Also, my phone takes ages to switch from 3g to 4g. Sorry if this has been answered before, but is this a software issue or is this hardware? I like to have the option of LTE, but I don't use it all the time; only when my 3g is insanely slow or if I need to download something. When I switch from 3g to LTE it takes a LONG time, I'm talking 45 - 120 seconds. Sometimes it have to toggle airplane mode on and off to get it to switch, then sometimes the airplane mode gets stuck (greyed out on power menu)... reboot... forever to reboot, you get it.
Disabling the Google screen at bootup won't make the phone boot up faster..
Hi All,
I'm loving the quality and the performance of the oneplus 3 but there are a few issues that are irritating me!
1) Apps crash before starting - Intermittently, applications just show a black or white screen when executed. I have to press the power button to get the phone usable again. Example - Google drive, maps, pocket casts , tapet
2) Recents button crash - Pressing the recents button crashes the system ui. This has been happening more since 3.2.0
3) Wifi does not turn off - WIfi remains on after being turned off from quick settings or the main settings page.
4) Android system drain - Android system, almost always, has more battery usage than the screen!
5) I'm not sure if this is an issue - I recently installed AppOpsXposed module and looks like the Google Play Services and Android System have location access running even when location & wifi scanning are turned off. Shouldn't the location permission be used only when location access is turned on? I believe this is contributing to the android system drain!
I'm currently on FreedomOS 3.2.1 but have faced these issues from Stock 3.1.2 onwards. Not sure about 3.1.1 since I received the OTA on first boot. I have tried going back to stock(no root/no xposed) but that doesn't help either.
Thoughts?
Does anybody else use permissive mode on android ? For me I have issues waking from sleep. I have to press the power button lots of times to get the screen on. Anybody have a fix ? I want to use permissive mode to reduce screen burn.. I'm using tiles to activate permissive mode and I'm on stock android 8.0 non beta.
you meant immersive not permissive right? because you were talkin about gettin rid of the navbar and statusbar to avoid screen burn ins
Same issue for me, enabling immersive mode on Oreo causes an issue when waking up the device if it has been sleeping for awhile. I have been using immersive mode since paranoid android on an old nexus device so using the phone without it enabled feels awkward.
I had the same issue. Tried to reverse immersive mode in terminal emulator, but got an error. Ended up just flashing stock once again.
What I did was tick the "System Awake" to ON in developer settings. Works like a charm every morning. Now and I can finally turn off my alarm without wanting to literally throw it across my room since the device wouldn't turn on after a long night.
sometimes AND I MEAN SOMETIMES ONLY but its annoying the watch will show the lock icon as if it is locked and i set the lock to auto .. anyways when i turn it on and want to unlock it the pattern/pin wont appear and technically its not locked sometimes the pattern/pin would appear but others no i dont know why it would show the icon
in addition whenever i go to sleep i usually put it in airplane mode but i recently noticed even if i put it in airplane mode it will still connect to my phone/wifi i have to turn off airplane mode and turn it on again
but these issues usually go after a restart but its annoying i tried resting it multiple times but still ..
im on wear os 2.13.0.19981996 and there is no updates
So out of no where my phone has just been lowering randomly every 5 to 10 mins and it's definitely not a faulty volume button it sets it to an exact level every single time. Also when connected to Bluetooth in my car instead of lowering volume it changes to only the left channel speakers working till I reset Bluetooth. So idk how to fix this
Some crazy app?

Couldn't help but install a handful of apps that you swore you'd use? We're all guilty of this at some point. We download application after application with the intention of using them every day -- fitness apps, language learning tools, etc. -- and maybe use them twice a month. You would...

Obviously, these aren't settings you want to keep enabled, but they may tell you more about the problem.
Ultimately, you'll have to find the app and deal with it (if I'm right that it is an app).
