"Close All" disconnecting Garmin Watch from Oppo Phone - OPPO Find X2 Questions & Answers

Hey Guys.
I've just moved from a Samsung S10 to an Oppo Find X2 Pro. The only major issue I'm finding is that if I, like I always used to on my Samsung, hit the three lines button on the bottom left, and select "Close All", then my Garmin Fenix 6 Pro buzzes and shows the "Disconnected" message. It eventually reconnects itself. But this sounds like the Bluetooth App or service is being forcibly closed by the "Close All" button.
Any hints on how to get around this and make the Bluetooth connection "persistent", or something similar?
Thanks in advance.

Bluetooth issue

This may not really be a G3 specific issue, but I'll start here.
I have 5 different BT devices paired with my phone. One, a set of wireless earbuds, will no longer connect. I figured I'd just delete it, and repair the device , but I can't. When I tap the gear icon for that device only in the BT setting screen, I get a toast message saying "Unfortunately, settings has stopped." Tapping the gear icon for any of the other devices works normally.
So I'm trying to figure out where the BT device information is stored. I don't mind repairing everything, so if I can just blow away a specific file and start over, that's OK. Any ideas?

Bluetooth not working

Since this last update that sony rolled out to the my phone my bluetooth will not work at all. I can turn bluetooth on but I get a message that pops up immediately that says Bluetooth share has stopped with an X and close app message. If I tap close app the message disappears and bluetooth turns off and turns back creating the same problem over and over. I cannot turn off bluetooth from the quick settings bar, I have to go into settings and turn it off. Anyone else with this issue or have a workaround or fix for it?
Bluetooth notifier won`t go away
I have a problem where I have a message that pops up and says, "Bluetooth Share keeps stopping."
It has, "Close App" with an X beside it. (only option)
I tap it and it reappears a second later.
I've painstakingly gotten into settings (constantly closing this notifier) and opened Bluetooth and it`s not on so I turned it on but no difference. (notice still popping up)
So I turned it back off (no difference).
I've restarted phone (still happens).
I've turned phone off for 5 minutes and turned back on (still does it).
I've just discovered I can turn it off by sliding down from the top while locked but after a second or 2 it starts blinking so I open it and find it's back on.
Last app I installed was Torque Pro but uninstalled it when this problem arose, thinking it was trying to connect to my OBD2 scanner.
I managed to get a screen shot after many attempts but can't send it as the notifier keeps interrupting.
Wow, no idea why but it's just now stopped doing it after hours of pain.
What the hell?

ever tried on pc companion repair?
No I haven't.
I wasn't aware this phone used it.
All my Sony's have always installed it or accessed it the moment I plugged it in but this phone never did or needed it to exchange files so I figured it didn't use it

Bluetooth off on a reboot?

I find it sort of ironic that every time I have to reboot/shut down the Honor 7x the Bluetooth doesn't turn on when I restart the phone. If I forget to manually do it, my watch doesn't sync, etc. etc. The irony is that the last few phones I had made it impossible to turn OFF Bluetooth, it always turned back on in a second or so.
Anyone else see this or know of a reason or fix?
I think I fixed this one, not an issue specific to Huawei or Honor apparrently...
While the setting seems to be in different places, it is called "Bluetooth Scanning" on the Honor 7x. The description says "Improve location by allowing system apps and services to detect Bluetooth devices at any time".
With that setting enabled, bluetooth would always be off on a reboot. Turning that setting off allows me to reboot without losing bluetooth.
On the Honor 7X I found it using the search box in the settings, using "scanning" as the search term. It is under "Security & Privacy", "Location Access", the three dot menu in the upper right "Scan settings".
Hmmmm....?

First Of All.. Glad You Found A Solution That Worked For You...
But something else may be going on with your device.
Your post intrigued me... so I duplicated your situation.
Indeed, my setting under Security & Privacy / Location Access / 3 Dots / Scan Settings / Bluetooth Scanning was set to "Disable" by default since it's my first time there.
So... I did a Reboot and Power Off with the setting still Disabled... and my Bluetooth was still Enabled upon powering up.
But Also... After I "Enabled" Bluetooth Scanning, and did a Reboot and Power Off.. my Bluetooth was STILL enabled upon boot..
I just wanted to let you know, you may have other issues going on.. but hey, if you have it working to your satisfaction.. you're good.. :good:
P.S.
I don't know if you have rooted.. my device is completely stock..
Hello, i had a similar pb on my Honor 7 and a friend of me on P10 Lite. After "plane mode" or reboot the BT didn't power ON even if it was ON before.
I've tried this solution on my HONOR 7 and he tried on his P10 Lite... Now everything is working again. The BT will power ON if it was ON before the action.
So big TY !

Pocket Texting/Calls

My Note 10+ (Pie) insists on ignoring my double tap to turn the screen on but comes on all by itself while in my pocket and despite a PIN on the lockscreen it texts and makes calls all by itself.
Honestly, this is the best Samsung can do?
I am very over this phone and it will be my last Samsung I'm afraid.
Anyone have any ideas to stop it texting/calling all by itself?
Thanks in advance.

Hey there make sure your "touch settings" under Display settings are where you like them (or fiddle with them to see if anything changes) and your "lock screen" & "AOD" settings are correct.
My Note10+ (android 10) lives in my pockets and has no "false" calling or texts. I find it's usually "operator error" since Samsung has soooo many options and settings. Also you might like android 10 over 9.... peace and good luck!
Keep the display facing away from your body.
I use Double Tap with normally no issues.

Matepad Pro 10.8, magnetic keyboard issues

Hey Folks,
I have a Matepad Pro 10.8 (MRX-W09) running HarmonyOS 2.0.
I've encountered an issue that is starting to become a little frustrating and that has left me stumped.
The official Huawei Magnetic Keyboard will not connect at all.
If I attach the case and open to either of the grooves, all that happens is a single flash of the caps lock key.
Nothing else, the connect keyboard popup doesn't appear.
I initially thought that it may be a battery issue as I hadn't used the keyboard in quite a while.
So I left the keyboard connected in open position and charged, still no change.
I can find the keyboard when I do a manual search via Bluetooth.
Shows up fine, but pairing always fails.
Any tips on how I can resolve this would really be appreciated.
