Whenever I record a video using the slow motion mode, the video is kind of lagging and missing frames. I have tried cleaning the camera cache and data, but no success. I also changed the resolution, changed the storage location to the internal one, but again no success.
I am using a Snapdragon S20 Ultra.
Does anyone else have this problem?
I have attached one example.
I have the same problem with the Exynos version. The service replaced my motherboard and other components several times and it did not help. I finally got a completely new phone and the problem still exists. What's worse, I saw that there is also this problem in the S21 Ultra. I lost hope that Samsung would solve this problem.

Yeah my exynos s20 ultra is the same...but wasn't always like this...I've recorded videos in slow mode from my gallery that plays fine,so hopefully its only software related
I have this problem from the beginning. I would expect it to be solved with new updates, but it's worse now than it was at the beginning. I know that this is not a function that so many people use, but it is unbelievable that Samsung will not be able to eliminate it ...

Dear Gliders, since a few months I've been struggeling with a (atleast for me) great issue concerning the Captivate Glide video camera.
While recording (or sometimes even right when beginning to capture) I notice some lag in the video and it stays the same for half a second or so.
After that the whole video is very heavily out of sync and not bearable to watch anymore >:
I've read several threads here in XDA aswell as in other forums about this issue on other phones, but have found no fix yet.
It recrods on Internal storage so MicroSD slow speed class should not be cause of the problem.
Also I'm using overclocked, rooted stock firmware. (though this also happened without the overclock)
Greetings, Alex22!
I dont have that problem at all. Have you tried a ROM?
sent from my captivate glide
I have the same problem, however I will say mine usually only does it when recording longer videos. My first Glide did it (stock), now my warranty replacement (replaced for other reason) does it too. I've tried both saving to sd card and internal storage, still getting the same problem. I am now using v2 of the Collective Rom and still the same problem. Anyone else experience this?

Well atleast i'm not the only one experiencing the problem.
It annoys me really badly, but I really can't think of a way to fix this.
whenever I play a video from YouTube in my oneplus 3 through the YouTube app, i have to manually select 720p in the YouTube app!!! it's soo annoying!!!!!
.

.
is this the solution???? or there is something else???
Same question ? it's so annoying.

nobody seem to care! :'3
anyone? any opinions? :'3 no?
Are you referring to the issue of having to manually select the video quality every time you play a video on YouTube? I've been experiencing the same before I have OnePlus 3.
There are several ways I've tried to fix the issue:
- Switching accounts
- Using a different phone with the same resolution
- Switching to a faster network
- Upgrading / downgrading the app
- Wiping app cache / data
Even though some of the above did fixed the issue for quite a while, it then reverts back to selecting 480p as the default quality. I found that faster network tends to cause YouTube to select 1080p as default, but this behaviour is very unpredictable and can happen even on a slow network.
So i got the phone a year ago it worked flawlessly until patch 9.0.11 hit it literally crippled the phone to the point where even the boot screen is slow motion.
the interesting is that all sensors work fine audio playback is perfect but video is not at all even the camera lags.
I have tried everything even sending it to one plus, they wanted 450usd to fix it.
its right now on stock everything with an unlocked boot-loader
i have a screen recording if it see below

if you maybe have seen this issue and have a fix

450 USD for a 3 year old phone. ?
It isn't worth it .
If you can't live with these bugs. Buy a new phone.
Otherwise try Gcam .
Hello, I've looked at your video and I really don't see what's wrong because the whole vidoe is laggy.. Here is what I would do: you have to probably go through your apps and delete some apps which are draining a lot of memory, then you have to boot to recovery mode and delete cache there, then download app SD Maid Pro ( you can buy it or you can find a cracked version of it somewhere on the internet). Then run the app and let it auto force close and delete app cache from all of your apps (you have to change your phone language to english for this to work. I yesterday received a new update for Android 10 so maybe wait and update it to new Android and see if your problem is gone. Good luck [emoji1696]

Hey guys! an S20 Exynos owner here.
When I record a video (everything default, FHD 30fps etc.), I always get this weird jumpiness and choppiness. My only guess is maybe the OIS is doing some extra-work trying to stabilize things, while at the end everything just looks unsmooth and almost robotic.
Captured a short video below to showcase: https://youtu.be/MO75_KZl_to
You can see it on mobile, but it's very clear on a monitor. right as the video starts you can see it. This issue appears in all of the videos I ever taken with this device.
Has someone encountered this? Do you guys see it on one of your S20's? Maybe my unit is defected?
(factory reset didn't help btw).
Thanks!
What storage are you using to save videos to? SDCard or Internal?
Hi, not sure if you guys are also experiencing this. My camera lags a LOT.
When you enter the camera app, it kinda lags already, and especially the first 3 seconds recording, it is just very jerky and skipping frames.
When I take videos of my kids, very sure the first 3 seconds are wasted. This issue was not there on my previous S21U.
I've done factory reset, clear cache, clear app cache, etc. Nothing works so far. Have the latest August patch as well.
This also been reported here: https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5...yback-video-issues-jerky-stutter/td-p/5492576
same thing happens with me too
had the same issue with s21 exynos version as well
never got any fixes
