Good evening, I am new to the Dasaita units
And love mine so far. I couldn’t get mine to connect with my iOS 14.2 I phone via apple car play.. Is there an update that anyone can provide to help me out? I did a restart on the unit and it will now connect via Bluetooth but has no car play icons etc anymore. I’m lost and could use some help. Thank you in advance!

I wonder if you guys can help, I used to have an iPhone and just got an S4 but for some reason when I scan for devices it doesn't see the BMW in car phone system. Yet when I get into my wife's car it finds her parrot system fine. Does anyone have any ideas as I know my BMW system works fine. The car is 2011 3 series.

Not sure about the 2011's, but for the 2012's I had to add phone first from the idrive before my phone would see it.
I'm having a SUPER hard time finding good information on this, everything seems conflicted. Does anyone have mirrorlink working on a M8 (preferably unrooted vzw) with a pioneer mirrorlink head unit?
I have the NEX4000. Mirrorlink worked fine with the stockrom and Viper rom but i can't seem to find any other custom rom that will connect via mirriorlink.

Sorry to drag this back up i'm in the same boat did you find anything else out about this ?
I can get it to work I have a Pioneer head unit in the car but it looses connection after a few minutes, according to pioneer this is down to the phone as the headunit once connected does nothing...
Hi guys, I hope you can help.
I recently brought and installed A Pumpkin 10.1 unit (rk3188).
Ive managed to get Malaysk's custom rom installed but my issue is that i dont have steering wheel controls so i brought a satechi media button. (Because im a new user i cant post a link)
The thing is i can get the unit to find it but it will not connect to it. Could it be a bluetooth name limitation on the unit? is there a work around?

The only BT devices that are supported are OBDII readers and Phones (for phonebook sharing, calls and media streaming). No other devices will work (media controllers, gamepads, etc).

I'm looking for a way for this to happen as well. Just purchased an iSimple remote for my Joying head unit. Lo-and-behold it doesn't work because... reasons? How hard is it for the programmers to allow a remote device use media controls while any other android unit will allow this?

I installed recently a new stereo in my car, the stereo has Android 4.4.4 installed by default from factory,but I am having some issues with some features, for example the TV app is no working, and I can't do a mirror between the cellphone and the stereo screen.
If somebody have an idea what is the problems I will appreciate your help.
Also, I know the installed version is too old, but no sure if is possible upgrade the stereo to a newer version

I have a smartphone Doogee X5MAX android 6.0 , and a tablet Asus Zenpad C 7.0 (Z170C) android 5.0.2 without 3G/4G sim card service. Together by bluetooth. I use the tablet in my car.
When someone calls me to my smartphone, I want to use the tablet to ring, see contact, and speak on it. Can it be possible? If not, only ring and see contact on the tablet? Any android app?

Headunit Reloaded on my smartphone, and Android Auto on my tablet? Is this?
is necessary have the Android Auto app installed? Without it, how can I have the console of numbers dial to call? Headunit has it?
I´m not interesting about AA, because I use my IGO GPS, and Poweramp music app...
Tablet and smartphone are connected by WIFI.
