Hello, after receiving the December 2020 security patch my A2 lite is no longer able to connect to the internet through my home WiFi network, in a stable way at least. Restarting the phone it works for some time then internet connection drops while WiFi is still connected.
I've already tried resetting the WiFi settings first, then the factory reset with no luck.
Current build is QKQ1.191002.002.V11.0.16.0.QDLMIXM
Does anyone have any suggestion?

Hi
I installed the new NK1 firmware on my t-325 and since then my inernet connection keeps dropping with "AP currently not in use. Internet connection too slow" message. The internet connection is obviously not slow and signal strength is maxed out. Is there anything I can do ? I have already regretted upgrading. :crying:

I have the sm-t320 also on the NK1 firmware but I haven't experienced any wifi dropouts , but I did a clean install by doing a factory reset, have you tried to remove the AP and re-add it back in?
To remove the network go to Settings - Wi-Fi - Long Press on the AP and press "Forget network" , then refresh networks and re-connect to it, or if SSID is hidden scroll down and click Add Wi-Fi netwrok.

Yes, I tried everything but to no avail. I even selected another channel on the router. My wife has the same tablet with the older firmware and everything is fine by her.
It seems that I need to roll back to the previous firmware but I don't know how to start it since I have never had a Samsung before. I downloaded the original firmware, Odin v3.9 and installed Kies to have the necessary drivers. I don't want to brick my device, so is there anything I need to be aware of before I start flashing ?
With the auto update to 8.1.0 google killed my wifi.
with all possible tricks (safe mode, on/off, reset options...) I managed to get a connection but data is zero and from time to time poor.
what to?
can I roll back to previous version 8..0?
UPDATE:
I did factory restore from google servers. Still no working wifi!
SO: the wifi modul not working... Good buy nexus 5x I had a great time....
I have the same problem , do you find any solution ?
I have the same problem. It didn't recognize my wifi at home at all. Tried everything and had to factory reset eventually....
Now it still doesn’t recognize my wifi and I can't even start up the phone. How stupide is this

As the title says, my phone out of nowhere couldn't detect any 5ghz on wifi. I don't know how long this has been because I don't check what wifi I'm connected to. As long as I was connected, I wasn't worried. But today I discovered it's been connecting to the 2.4 band of my wifi.
We have lots of other devices in the house and all of them detect the 5ghz band. all of them have no connection issues with that. only this phone. I'm not sure if this has something to do with the recent update, but I have a feeling it's because of that.
Things I've already tried:
Restarting the router.
Restarting my phone several times.
Restarting my phone in safe mode. still nada.
Wiping cache partition in recovery mode.
resetting network settings (using the reset option in settings)
disabling vpns/adguards etc.
enabling option in hotspot to prefer 5g bands.
All of them and still nothing. The only thing I haven't tried is doing hard reset or factory reset because I got lots of important stuff and settings already in my phone. I hope it won't get to that point.
Please help, seriously. Thanks very much!

Try to reflash the stock firmware again... Without doing a factory reset.
Hopefully this can help.
