Hi all. Has anyone been able to get stadia running on their Nexus 7? If so how did you do it. Thanks.

I'm trying in every way possible. Tried from stock ROM Android 6.0 to LineageOS 18. I only succeed to make it work once on LOS 18 using Chrome in desktop mode, then never worked again. I can't figure it out.

I'm interested in installing the new linage rom for this phone . After reading from the download page I feel this rom may not work at all or even screw up my phone. Can someone give me some feed back ? Has anyone tried these roms on their phones yet?
Thanks

I haven't specifically tried LineageOS, but I've been running OctOS N for a couple of weeks. It uses a LineageOS 14.1 base, and I've had no problems at all with it.

Do you know if Google Duo works with OctOS N?
It's convenient, but not really necessary. But OctOS M always gives me a "unable to access camera" error that I could never get to go away, though I tried the various suggestions I'd found online.

Installed duo. It didn't get through the setup before it FCd on a camera error.
Open camera works for me. I haven't even tried to open the snapdragon camera or whatever it is that ships with the ROM.

Thank you for trying. I figured that would be the case. I appreciate the test and the report.
Nitrogen OS is a custom ROM based on AOSP and I made it for our Nexus 9 (WIFI) today .
Thanks to the NitrogenOS project for the source
First boot takes time, just wait patiently
Features:
0. Stock kernel works and force encrypt disabled
1. Non-rooted, use magisk 16.4 for root.
P.S. Flash magisk after first boot and install magisk manager manually.
2.HW still broken
Here's a thread describe Nitrogen OS in details,I'll save the time

Download link : https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=234787
Device tree:https://github.com/LineageOS/android_device_htc_flounder modified for Nitrogen.
Awesome job
Down loading now.
Another N9 ROM. This is great. Poor Flounder has been the red headed step child for so long now. Thanks for another quality choice for our device.
Thanks very much. I love Nitrogen rom on my Shamu. I'll DL as soon as get home.
Woohoo!! I am glad, I just bought a Nexus 9 a couple of days ago and was severely disapointed with the lack of ROMs and the fact that the one that I got was a refurbished but still having the sensor issue. Happy with my Nexus 7 2013 and how fast it is with the Nitrogen OS.

The latest build is pre-rooted and SuperSU is unnecessary
Does this ROM have force encrypt disabled like other Nitrogen OS builds?
I can't get videos to play. I used opengapps stock.

The same here. YouTube, Apple music , Amazon music, Spotify all failed to play here. Although some game can play simple audio.
Is it possible that it is missing some codec libs ?

Hi guys, I have a Nexus 5X on PixelRom Oreo, and when I tried to manually enable Daydream with the handset_core_hardware mod, the launcher kept on failing on the next boot. I was wondering if the original build has a similar issue and/or there is a fix available, or is Oreo just too new?
Bump?

I've been failing to get daydream working on my stock 8.1 Nexus 5X. I can't find anyone who knows how to make it work. I also tried the permissions/xml mod, plus I tried device spoofing via build.prop. No dice.
I rooted and flashed my tab pro 8.4 Sm-t20 with linageos 14.1 unofficial. So far everything is running fine but I can't get the back camera to work. I tried a few camera APps and a reset app I found on YouTube but can't get it to work. Has any one else been able to get it to work?
Thanks in advance

If you really have a need for the camera to work AFAIK your best solution is to downgrade to a previous ROM version.
Camera will NOT work in 14,never has and never will

I'd really like it to work it bothers me a little bit that I just can't get it to work. I really don't need it to work. I have my phone and another tablet that the camera does work on, have not rooted or put a custom rom on those. I do use Google duo and another app for video chat but it is what it is.
The thing is it's a shame Samsung isn't updating this model any more. It's actually got a slightly better screen and CPU than the 8" tab A I have yet it's stuck on kitty Kat with OEM software. I like having more updated software and the stock Android is more like what's on my Moto X4, so I'm not likely to flash it back to kitty Kat.
Hi there,
I found my N7 under the bed yesterday, and it turned on after I charged it,
so the problem is, the system is still stuck on Android 5.0, many apps cannot be installed, and the response is very slow.
Are there any friends who are using N7 smooth? What is your ROM and can you recommend me a link to flash it?
I want to use it to watch videos and news. thank you all

I just got a N7 also, gift from my boss. Currently running XenonHD with ElementalX, pretty smooth, you can find it in N7 Android Development

Stuck on Android 5.0? Are you in the correct Nexus 7 forum? The Nexus 7 2013 last official Android version was 6.0.1, for the original Nexus 7 it was 5.1.1. I think you may have the original Nexus 7. Ideally the stock rom is the most stable and fastest with a custom kernel.

Hello bro, thank you for your reply! I flashed XenonHD rom but the kernel is not ElementalX, I try to install the ElementalX kernel fails.
You means the XenonHD rom with ElementalX kernel together, can you show me links for reference?
