LG KS20 problem

Hi to all
I have one LG KS20 here..
Version info:
ROM - v10b
Bootloader - v10b
Modem firmware - v10b
ROM date - 2008-03-07
So - I have a problem here.. When I put the SIM card inside and power ON the phone - I can use Wi-Fi but there is no Network... I read a lot here in this forum and find that if somebody flashes the mobile without backup the NV file - problem... So I did not flashed this mobile.. I just take it and when I insert SIM card just nothing happened... After that I checked the IMEI number - its something like 0000023000000<0
Can somebody explain me what and where is the problem and how to solve it...

i have the same problem.for three days try to solve it.i use avery way that appears in the forum and general in the internet.i didn't make it.finaly i send it back to lg for service.i wish you good luck.

It seems like ur NV is not there.Try using QPST to restore back ur nv2.If u said u didnt flash or reflash ur original ROM then just send it back to LG

Someone can help us??? I need any NV backup from KS20. Who can help us?

silence.i think there is no solution.lg in greece send my phone back unfixed.because it is unbranded.in greece lg ks20 appears only with vodafone brand.we really need help.

If u need .nv2 file, pm me with ur imei no. and email address, i can generate one for you, but the last digit, which is calculated by your phone, would likely to be different and also i can only generate branded .nv2 since i only got branded .nv2 file. It could be work in unbranded phone but just u need to flash a branded rom or hybrid rom to use with it.

LG KS20 Network Problem after i flashed a EN ROM

I have a strange problem. I have flashed the Enghlish ROM, and i have managed to recover the IMEI number bach with the QPST tool but still no network.
Any ideea???
Can someone help me?
I would like to thanks to all the members of this site, was a grea help to onbtain necesary tools for my phone.

You can't simply use QPST to repair your imei complete, you can't repair no network problem in this way to, you must hv a working .nv2 file with you and restore it back, read the posts in my signiture pls

I've just got a new ks20 ... had the rom V10b-00-262-02-10-OCT-21-2007 (OS 5.2.1626.3) ... I tried to update my rom ... but the "LGMDP_1.5_Build_12.13" always show "No phone" under the phone columm ...
I have done the same as the thread " [How To] Connect KS20 with LGMDP + Free Unbranded .nv2" of raykisi ...
I don't know which step I had fault ... plz help me ...
Here what I've done :
1. Install "LG Corona USB Driver" in computer
2. Change necessary settings in engineering menu
At device:
-Enter this code to dialpad: 2676625720#
.....4. Port Setting → 1. Diag Setting → 1. USB Set for Diag → “OK” → “Back”.
.....4. Port Setting → 1. Diag Setting → 2. USB Switching → “LG Composite -DUN, DIAG”.
-press Done and soft-reset the device. (by turn off and on, I did)
3. Install "WinDiag_Open.cab" in the device and soft-reset it ...
4. Plug the usb cab to PC, at this step the PC found 3 new hardware and Installed completely (A port, A usb and ... something i forgot)
5. Run LGMDP_1.5_Build_12.13, click Select port, the LGMDP_1.5_Build_12.13 can found the port COM5 but there's always "No phone" under the phone columm and NONE the Model
I tried 2 time on a XP PC and a Vista Laptop ... Help me ... plz ... I need my nv2 to play with my new device ...

btw .. how to know the phone is branded or unbranded ... my phone start up is only LG logo and then Windows Mobile welcome screen and then today screen .... is it unbraded ... it can be waranted by the LG ???

I can't make Downgrade to My S8500

I was Install UNOFFICIAL ROM Bada 2 to My S8500 But there are a lot of problems .
So I decided to re-install the official version of the old but I can't Because of this error message appears when you attempt Flashing the official rom .
'Error : Amms Write [0.2s]' .
Is there a solution? .
This is the way in which I Flashing ROM .
1- use Downloader v5.67
2-Select ( LSI Mode ) + Full Download .
3-Access to the download Mode .(Press Voul .Down + Power + Lock key )At the same time .
4-And finally Click (DOWNLOAD) from Loader .
What happens is only this message appears 'Error : Amms Write [0.2s]' . .

what's your old firmware version ?
are you shure it's a full version or only an update ? you need in first a full version if you want to come back in bada 1

Make sure Kies is closed before you flash.

Is still an ongoing problem
Did not solve the problem now to the same previous error message returned and appeared again .
Is there another way to solve this problem ?

hummm
it seems your device driver
try to remove it
install again
put your mobile in download mode
connect your mobile via usb (without multiloader)
wait till your computer search and install the driver (win7)
disconnect
now try to do the steps of flashing
edit:charge your mobile

I have note 2 n7100 it's net no root no other roms
I get a notification for a new update
I UPDATE it via WIFI then it's finish and it's restart
everything work very good but when I insert any sim card I get message ( SIN NETWORK UNLOCK PIN )
I checked the IMEI using *#06# it's changed to other and different IMEI ( real imei but different )
and when I go to sitting > about device > status I see the different imei ( not same the label under the battery )
but the S\N it's same
so now how can i fix this problem and get my original imei and network contention

[Q] LG H815 G4 Flash kdz

Hello, my lg is found on the block lg logo because of the deletion of the system partition.
I wonder if a KDZ file was available for lg g4 ( H815 )
the TWRP and unavailable , fastboot mode also but I can just put in download mode.
Lg software update tools do not work.
Do you want my IMEI ?
Help me please

how do u get into download mode?
i keep trying different ways but when i hold the volume up button and plug it to the computer it only shows me the IMEI number..
anyone?

1. Delete any software owned by LG . and removing drivers
2. Install only LG drivers.
3. Switch off the phone completely .
4. Press the top volume , while plugging in USB . You will be in download mode
5. Wait for the driver installation .
6. Open Lg flash tool
7. Select Kdz file.
8. Select 'normal' and start
9. select country & language = Do not touch, do ok
10. LG Mobile Support tool opens, the flash begins.
Warning = an error message may appear , do not close this message , you have to set it aside

At first .. i Just wanna say wht happen ..

Then everything was Oki "works Fine" Then i Tried Uniq Rom From HTCMainia website .. and tried kernels like xceed and flykernel to get the best battery Performance ..
AfterThat i Go to Flumincs 3.5 witth Xceed i face random shutdowns and restart ... changed kernel and change governor to Conservative cause Ondemand make mob random restars .. 2day ,, i was playing music once black screen dead mob .. and if i turn it on\ remove battery and back it again and boot still on LG Logo and restart changed battery .. not fixed .. Reboot to twrp and wip all except sd and internal not fixed .. and if i try to flash a rom it restart it self even with usb connected SO i boot in Dload mode in the first i was see the logo of Dload mode "blue rectangle" tried cse Flash using smart flash tool 2014 .. in 20% Mob restart it self .. tried TOT method the same thig restart and do it again and restart ..etc "Log is included" ,, after i do TOT it boot automatically to Dload Mode it self without press volume Botum .. Cant use LG UP Cause said Device unkown ..
so any ideas ? is this still a Software issue ? or Hardware ,,
