I am currently in possession of a carrier unlocked Razr 5G with an unlocked bootloader, that I have rooted via a Magisk patched boot image. I don't know the first step in porting TWRP to this phone. However, if someone will work with me, I will gladly offer my phone to do so.
I have a friend working on it.

I'll release in a bit, just working on touch
Noice... should take a look to see if GSI is portable to this thing, I'm looking forward to this be my next upgrade (Maybe an incentive to keep my next job and keep on with the plan payments, lol), so I want a phone that can run real programs and have my handy DriveDroid install ISO's into work servers and stuff... Still running on a rooted Honor 5X running android 9 since it's capable of doing that stuff and still cuts it for my needs running OmniROM

Hello.
I have already rooted my xoom2.
I want to help unlock the bootloader.
Where do i start from?
My girlfriend has this tablet and I rooted it for her because she saw me getting free in app purchases with freedom and wanted xmod for clash of clans. It was easy because I had a note 3 at the time and I pretty much knew everything about rooting.
But I jumped ship to ios a few months ago and I forgot some of the stuff. I'm still experienced with odin but I can't remember how to unroot the device and lock the bootloader (was it even locked? I really forgot).
So anyway we eventually broke up and I wanted to unroot the tablet in case she ever needs the warranty.
Is it enough to just flash an original firmware with odin and everything will be back to the original state? Do I need to do something else?
I'm currently on this custom ROM with the following baseband, radio, whatever (it's in my native language but the version numbers are there):

Hi All,
I don't have my phone yet but upon looking at all the complexities of unlocking/rooting, I'm thinking I want to unlock it just in case I decide to dive in more after I've become accustomed to the phone and learned what I would like it to be able to do (beyond what it already can). I honestly will probably only root and maybe flash a kernel. Don't think I need a ROM (we'll see though... I used to be a very flash-happy person in my past...) I will probably root it as well, but I'm not even sure about that just yet.
So my question is this: is it simple to just unlock the bootloader to make sure it's unlocked for down the road, if I decide to customize more? Also, is it quick/easy to root, if I decide to do that as well up front? If so, does rooting just affect Android Pay?

Did the same. Just unlocked, flashed boot to root via fastboot and a kernel via fastboot. Still don't have twrp on mine.
I'm trying to get this phones bootloader unlocked. I want viperfx installed and yes I know most will agree I'm mental if I do that as I heard it limits me to 48000khz but I have my reasons & don't care. Can anyone point me in the right direction or tell me if it's doable? I don't care about the phone other than to make calls, install viperfx and listen to music, and data plus wifi need to work also! Very necessary. Anything else I don't need functional and don't give a $++T about future updates and security patches. Am I living a pipe dream cuz I'm coming up with nothing with my research. Willing to take certain risks & any help be great. If it isn't possible I'll just trade for a phone that I can unlock & root easily.
Any help be awesome
I'm running.....

Hi guys,
I'm in a bit of a pickle and i have surfed the whole wide web and haven't found an answer to my questions/problem.
My dad installed Ubuntu on this phone to try it out and eventually i took it over since i needed the phone.
I made a stupid mistake by wiping the system and everything on it via the ubuntu screen and now i'm stuck with a bricked? phone.
I have no idea how to revive this phone and i'm in a great need for help.
The bootloader is unlocked and this is what i see (check images)
Anyone who knows what i'm supposed to do to get this phone to work again?
Thank you very much.

If all else fails MSM will usually rescue the phone.
Make sure to follow the guide exactly and that the PC has the drivers installed (they're linked in the guide).
I'll try the MSM tool tomorrow, ill keep you updated!
Thank you for the reaction.
