Hi
Not been here for many years under another name I cant remember.
I have an old Samsung Galaxy GT-S5830i with Android 2.3.6 which I use with my work.
Have updated to Google Play from Market.
Wanting update some of the old apps and install new apps, but it seems my version is out of date/non compatible.
Can this phone be converted to Jellybean from a download etc for the new apps to run on.
Thanks
Solved.
Found a download to Jelly Bean on the site

Would it be possible to install the jelly bean keyboard on our phones? I read that there were some improvements.
Could someone try and pull it please?
I'm interested too.

If it did work, you'd have to include the lib file.
I'm interested too.
Somebody can just put the original apk file here, and we try to make it compatible with GB/ICS...

Hello!
Since the official release I used my Galaxy Nexus with the official JB ROM 4.1.1. Two weeks ago I switched to CyanogenMod 10 (nightly) and now some apps (I used before with stock 4.1.1) cannot be installed. The Google Play store always says that the concerning apps cannot be installed on my device because it is not compatible
For example:
Burger King DE
Sony remote
What's the problem and can i solve this problem by myself?
Thank you very much!!
Same problem with CM10 experimental on Galasy S2. I cannot use Runkeeper anymore, and I noticed the same thing applies to all running and sporting activities tracking apps, but not only.
Could it be GPS related?
Thanks,
Razvan

Hello!
Don't know if it is GPS related or not.
I think it isn't. Because my own "find my car" app works well.
But I found another app that doesn't work. "SWOODOO" flight search.
Hi everyone,
Just wondering if someone could dump the 4.1.1 version of the stock Android keyboard from their phone for me? I've searched for some hours now and cannot seem to find it anywhere on the interwebs.
I have a friend with an 4G Galaxy S3 who would like the factory keyboard, but I (un)fortunately got 4.1.2 OTA for my Nexus the other day and it doesnt want to install on the S3 running 4.1.1.
Cheers!
Download a CM9 ROM and get it from that...
So I upgraded from CM10.0 stable to CM10.1 monthly 2 yesterday night and everything seems pretty good. However, I tried to download Dashclock widget from the google play store yesterday, yet it says that my Galaxy SIII is incomptabile.
What should I do to fix this? In case it helps, I did a dirty flash. Didn't wipe 10.0 and just installed 10.1 over it.
Android Version: 4.2.2
CM Version: 10.1 (m2 - d2att)
Phone: Galaxy SIII Bell

You can attempt to do a clean wipe install, however I suspect its just not compatible with the new version of JB. CM10 was 4.1.2 and CM10.1 is 4.2.2. So its very possible the developer has not updated their app to include the new version of JB

Thanks everyone. Will try it.
Did the clean install solve your problems?
I'm experiencing a problem with Dashclock incompatibility, where the web version of the Play Store says it's compatible with my phone, but the Play Store on my device says it's incompatible. If I click install via web, nothing happens on my phone.
CM10.1
Custom DPI (but using patched play store)
854x480
Edit: apk installation from file explorer works fine, found this download link: http://www38.zippyshare.com/v/90618241/file.html

I have rooted my galaxy Note II N 7100 and installed 4.2.2 slimbean.I have succesfully installed everything. But the problem is so many feautures are missing like multiscreen, S note , voice recorder . I some how feel like going back to 4.1.2 Jelly bean.I am completely new to this. Please suggest me how to install the original Android OS on my note II N 7100.I would also like to know 'Is slimroms 4.2.2 is an official android release or a third party OS?
Waiting for some suggestions. and thanks in Advance.
As you are new to this I will answer you, all features you missed are found in Samsung based roms only, and slimrom isn't Samsung based rom it is some thing called aosp which is the pure Google os. (without any Samsung apps) so to have these apps again you have to download and install any Samsung based rom called 'Tw' Touch Wizard roms, but please read before you do any thing to be sure not to do any thing wrong

It's easy to go back. Download your original firmware from sammobile.com and flash it using Odin. Extensive guides are available both on xda and all over the Internet. Google is your friend.
