I cleared cache from google (read somewhere it would solve it) and still the same, moved some apps to sd card and nothing (btw on sd card i have about 60gb available)

Since this is the section of S21 series, you should post in the relevant section.

For anyone with similar problem, if you are on android 11, turn you phone off, plug usb cable to phone and pc, press power + up until recovery mode, wipe cache and reboot
Thnks a lot

@Slytom solution is in my previous post

Update: The message appeared again, i checked all my cloud accounts (one drive, google drive, etc) and my one drive account was full. I cleaned it up, reboot the phone and the message disappeared

[Q] System Data taking 2.5 GB on SD Card

Ok, so somehow I did something that caused my SD card to fill up. When I look at DiskUsage, it shows that the system data folder is taking up all of my space.
Has anyone else had this problem, and can you fix it?

I really need help...
I don't know what you did.... I compared my unit using the same tool and I don't even have a System Data section on my /sdcard
If you have TWRP loaded, you might be able to wipe your data etc... but I have no idea.
Perhaps someone else has an idea
Well, I dont have a system data folder, atleast in my SD card.
I am thinking maybe it is somehow attatched to the SD partition, but...
Anyway, is it normal to have 200,000 + files in your "sys" directory?
The tool you are using doesn't output very clear info and the graphics by themselves don't give you details on what it is really finding...
Below is what mine looks like. This appears to be the same setting you used, but as you can see, there is no System Data listed.
Are there tools that are more presise I can look for?
Ok, so I found a file inside LOST.DIR called 1048578. It is taking up 2.3 GB. Can I delete it safely?
yes you should be able to do that.
You most likely had a crash and the file was lost from where it was actually pointing.
An solution to your problem

its because of three things that regularly happen
1) Because of Browsing the internet System data gets increased.
Try clearing your browser cache and reboot(e.g chrome, mozilla, the one u use the most)
2) Because of opening gallery your /DCIM/.Thumbnails folder gets loaded whit lots of bytes. delete the /DCIM/.Thumbnails folder
3) Also because of transfering files from your pc to your phone one more folder gets loaded.. delete it its the /nomedia/
Plz Hit Thanks............. :good: :good: :laugh:
The same thing also happened to me. Using the Android tool DiskUsage, after deleting many large media files via the PC, all of a sudden a System data of 22 GB was indicated. After I restarted the phone, the size was reduced to 2.3 GB.

Showing High Internal SD Storage?

I'm having an issue with my phone showing that I only have 1 gig left on my internal SD, but when I look at the internal SD when I plug in my computer it only has 6.6 gigs on it. I have no idea what's causing so much space being taken up. I was down to 877 megs and cleared the cache of all my apps which brought me up to 1.07 gigs free, but that still doesn't compute. 12 gigs - 6.6 = 1.07? I'm using the ParanoidKANGdroid ROM with the second to last update but I was having this issue before when I came from AOKP and wasn't able to make a backup.
If anyone has any ideas please reply. Thanks in advance!

I had this happen back when I had an infuse 4g, on my phone it was all the backups I had made. Everytime I flashed a new rom I would make a backup. I had 6 or 7 old backups and once deleted my storage space was back. I can't say for sure this is your problem, but use a file explorer(I use root file explorer) and look at your backup folder.
Thanks that worked like a charm!

Unable to Login to Dropbox After Installing LineageOS

As per the title: a couple of weeks ago, I installed LineageOS 14,1 on my HTC One M8 [previously had rooted Marshmallow GPE installed]
Since then, I've been completely unable to login to Dropbox. I just get this really uninformative dialogue each time:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
and an equally uninformative message in CatLog:
Code:
03-02 15:31:58.151 E/com.dropbox.android.user.AccountStore(28183): Failed to add account
Annoyingly, even though the error persists, whenever I try to login, I receive an email from Dropbox saying "We noticed a new sign in..." and, when I visit Dropbox in a browser, my phone is listed as being a linked device. I can also access Dropbox without a problem via browser on my phone. It's only the app that keeps throwing up this error.
I've tried all the usual tricks like uninstalling & reinstalling the Dropbox app as well as clearing Cache & Data. Also asked Titanium Backup Pro to remove all traces of Dropbox. But nothing has worked. I still get the same error and Dropbox support have been about as much use as a chocolate teapot –unable to do more than suggest I try re-installing the app.
Now, I'm 99% certain that the problem is with Dropbox but, seeing as it only began after I installed LineageOS, I've got to ask whether anyone else has run into similar problems and, if so, how did you resolve it?
Can't help you, it works perfectly for me...
It's unbelievable. I have nuked every single scrap of data relating to Dropbox from my phone; uninstalled app, deleted cache, deleted data, asked Titanium backup to remove all traces of it. Done a root access search for any files/folders on the whole of my device with 'dropbox' in the name and deleted them too. And yet, when I re-install it again and try to login, the exact same thing happens. I've never known an app to so stubbornly refuse to let its slate be wiped clean.
And, as I said in my 1st post, I'm pretty certain the culprit is Dropbox itself. But I just wanted to check in case there was some weird LineageOS voodoo involved too.

Huawei P20 FRP Lock Removal

Hello XDA,
Hoping someone here can help me. Not sure if it was relevant, but something must be but I was installing an APP on my P20 that helps to verify you to access Canada Gov't websites. Yada yada and now my phone has a password on it. At some point I was given Google Codes, but those do not unlock my phone now. I tried updating the phone from wifi and safe mode however it still comes up with the password screen below. The SIM card is now in my new phone (S20 - done with Huawei) and the old phone is in Airplane mode. When I drag up from the bottom you can see that menu at the bottom that mentions "Enable Magazine unlock" but doesn't do anything except calculator and flashlight.
Yes I can access recovery menu and the option to Factory Reset is certainly there and I know how to use it. The thing is I have over 3000 photos (most of them of our Cats) on there and I cannot and will not lose them. Been hacking this thing for a few days now and even though the P20 does not have an SD CARD slot, I was able to insert a USB stick in the USB-C slot with a bunch of useful hack .APKs but I cannot seem to be able to use them. In the EMUI menu I can select Update from USB but it just hangs at 5%.
I don't mind any kind of solution but it has to keep my data. Would installing Cyanogenmod delete my data? Anyone encountered this before? Also - obviously my phone has not been rooted and trying to connect to the PC via USB does recognize the phone, but Visual Studio, the Huawei software and ADB and everything else does not recognize it enough to communicate with it, perhaps because of the password.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Have you try to make a backup onto your pc or does it not see the device? I know there’s Back up Option under recovery mode at more than one place but not so sure if it would include all of your data.
The only way to disable a password on a huawei is thro factory-reset along with the password setup proses.
You said something about google codes. Can’t it by chance be from your find my phone, that the device is secured from find my phone platform

Question Understand Main/System storage content

Hello.
I don't understand the current figures I read when I am checking the content of my 9 Pro storage, in the Storage menu, with the official File Manager and with others from the Play Store.
Currently, I know that except the few apps I installed on my phone, 95% of the used storage is coming from my pictures/videos as I copied the ones from my previous phones in the DCIM folder.
On the following screenshot, Storage menu says I am using 72.5gb, including 28gb from my pictures and videos.

"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Curiously, System storage is only using 1.1gb...
And even more curious, when I go to Other apps > Show System, I can see the "Media Storages" app also using 28gb of data (exactly the same size as the pictures/videos at the root of the Storage menu)
Thus, I have the feeling my "media" are using twice the size they should (I really have nothing else on my phone that the 28gb of pictures/videos), and I highly doubt that Android file system and app data are using 44.5gb (you can see on the second screenshot how much storage is using the apps on my phone)
Anybody here knows how OnePlus phone storage is working ?
What is this "Media Storage" and why is it using that much data at the moment?
Why the indicated System storage is only 1.1gb?
For information, I am currently using L2120 model with OOS 11.2.6.6 LE15 DA, but I got the same figures on the previous update.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Anybody?
I had replied in a previous thread, I have the same problem.
Obscene amount of storage being used by Media Storage, can't clear.
This seems very abnormal to me. Over 70GB is being used by Media Storage. I am unable to to clear this or manage it in any way, it just seems to be wrecking my storage. Any ideas what could be causing this or how to fix it?

The only thing I noticed looking by MiXplorer is that "Media Storage" is the owner of sdcard, I don't know if this is normal.

Yes indeed, it is exactly the same problem.
