Hi. I can't change or control equalizer while using bluetooth earphones...it says "no headphones detected". I can connect my bluetooth earphone and use it though...but can't change the equalizer.
Wired earphones work just fine.
Use ViPER4Android FX if you have your phone rooted
Download some Equalizer from Play Store.

I'm confused. I can't get any audio from my BT headset. (Dell BH200 stereo)
I've paired them, and the play/pause works with WMP. but no audio.
Any clues?
So....
okay then.

How about this. The "Audio Manager" will play via the BT headset, but not WMP.
Any way to make the Audio Manager app access my music (.m4a) on my sd?

when you paired the device... did you goto the Bluetooth Settings, press and hold the stylus on the paired device and select 'Set as Wireless Audio'??
Yup. I did that. I can hear the "Connected" tones in the headset.... WMP keeps playing via the internal speaker. I can play music in the "HTC Audio Manager" via BT without a problem. except it's a crappy app
Check the "speaker" setting for your audio player.. you may need to point to headset.
Also when pairing there is 2 modes that the Dell BH200can support togather
1) As a hands free - Phone mode
2) As a high quality stereo headphone
Paired with Asus P535.. works the remote control buttons worked on Windows media player as well as Core player v1.1.1
By the way if your PDA has other bluetooth device in the pairing list.. delete them all b4 pairing. Also press the reset button on the BH200 b4 you start the pairing.. just power up the headset and press reset.
...I've noticed neither SRS WOW or the HTC equalizer have any effect when I'm listening via A2DP bluetooth headphones. They work via the wired headset.
Is this normal, and is there anything I can do to get the equalizer to affect sound via A2DP?
I would like to listen to my music via bluetooth audio streaming througth my car kit (parrot mki 9000). I also like to use the stock player (it is so nice and i am bored of using poweramp).
Is there any way to force the option of equalizer selection (dolby, srs, beats audio or analog equalizer)?
i would also like to know how to do this as when using beats or srs via bluetooth i get terrible crackling noise
is there a fix for bluetooth crackling noise ?
Is there a way to get all audio to be played through bluetooth when a bluetooth headset is connected?
Right now when I use a bluetooth headset and if I get a text or any sort of notification sound, the sound okays through the phone speakers and through the bluetooth headset.
If I'm not mistaken the bt headset still has to be a2dp.
The headset I use supports and. Audio from music and videos play only through the bluetooth headset but when I get notifications or the phone ringtone plays through both the phone speaker and the Bluetooth headset. Ive tried a few bluetooth headsets and they all do this... Is there a fix?
henno.
I have a oneplus 3 and a dragonfly DAC and use USB Audio player PRO.
Spotify doesnt work with external DAC.
If i play spotify via the phone speaker then connect my DAC it will play using the DAC (kinda) but when I give permissions to USB Audio player PRO (Uapp) the playback stops but will continue to play via the headphone jack of my phone.
Is there a soution?
If I root? Change from stock ROM?
Thanks
Jamie

No, you can only use Spotify with Android native driver for external DAC. You don't need permission for that, permission is only for apps that use exclusive mode while playing music like UAPP because of its own driver. Personally I don't use Spotify with external DAC because of lower volume and stuttering issues (native Android driver sucks). I only use UAPP with streaming via Tidal connected to Hifime 9018.
Edit: What I meant was Spotify will work with external DAC but the prompted permission once you connected the DAC is for UAPP. So just deny it and play normally using apps like Spotify, YouTube etc.
