I'm confused. I can't get any audio from my BT headset. (Dell BH200 stereo)
I've paired them, and the play/pause works with WMP. but no audio.
Any clues?
So....
okay then.

How about this. The "Audio Manager" will play via the BT headset, but not WMP.
Any way to make the Audio Manager app access my music (.m4a) on my sd?

when you paired the device... did you goto the Bluetooth Settings, press and hold the stylus on the paired device and select 'Set as Wireless Audio'??
Yup. I did that. I can hear the "Connected" tones in the headset.... WMP keeps playing via the internal speaker. I can play music in the "HTC Audio Manager" via BT without a problem. except it's a crappy app
Check the "speaker" setting for your audio player.. you may need to point to headset.
Also when pairing there is 2 modes that the Dell BH200can support togather
1) As a hands free - Phone mode
2) As a high quality stereo headphone
Paired with Asus P535.. works the remote control buttons worked on Windows media player as well as Core player v1.1.1
By the way if your PDA has other bluetooth device in the pairing list.. delete them all b4 pairing. Also press the reset button on the BH200 b4 you start the pairing.. just power up the headset and press reset.

Too many acronyms?
OK, so I got me some nice little bluetooth headphones, the iPhono mini things from bluetake. I'm digging them.
Only problem is that TCPMP doesn't fancy piping its music over bluetooth, although WMP happily will. This is pretty pants, since most of my music is AAC, which WMP naturally won't play.
Also, while we're here, even in WMP the pause/skip buttons on the headphones are having no effect. It's kind of jittery too. Man, what?
So, does anybody have any ideas? I gather from searching that many people do use bluetooth headphones, and there was even one instance of someone saying they do so via TCPMP regularly.
I'm using a HTC Magician (1.12 rom) with the url=http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=33532&highlight=a2dp]BCHS bluetooth stack/url], maybe I need a different stack? I gather there are a few...
Maybe if I upgrade to the 1.13 rom? Or maybe a different bluetooth stack? I don't know :/
I've never tried to use my BT headset to listen to music with my phone, but on my laptop, the headset has to be paired and activated in 'My bluetooth places. Then I have to select it as the audio device to use in control panel->sounds and audio devices, then restart whatever media player I'm using.
Good idea, but I tried restarting the apps already. I even did a soft-reset and made pairing the very first thing I did when it had finished booting.
Itech a2dp
Just bought some Itech clip s35 BT thingy, lets you put your own headphones in.
I put my universal on my desk. Went to the next office. About 10 meters away, through thin walls and next to 7 servers, its still 100% crispy sound.
I turn around and it stops, turn back and its back again. 10 metres! Through walls!!
Connected to my Sony MDR EX71 mini squishys and Im sealed in sound wirelessly.
I cannot fault these in any way shape or form.
For sale now on amazon. £30
WTF!

Ooops
I forget to say that as this is paired as wireless stereo in my bluetooth devices, everything comes out this headset.
TCMP
Games
Phone
Media Player
I paired it and it seemed to completely take the place of my wired headset. As if it is plugged in.
With the voice dial activated using the button on the headset, I dont have to get my phone out of its case to listen and make recieve calls. I have not tested to see if TCMP cuts out and comes back in.....
My suggestion would be to find out if there are different types of A2DP, as my device seems to have this device as default audio output. Perhaps this is just a windows mobile 5 thing though.....
I am going to upgrade my old Magician with a bluetooth stack which supports A2DP. If I do this sometime soon, ill let you know my results.
Sorry for the apparent topic change.

Ha ha! I'm all "Wait, how the hell is he doing all that? Maybe he has WM5?" and I'm pretty sure you're right. I've been trolling this place for the last few days on all the Magician + A2DP info I can. Seems as though only WMP will stream audio over bluetooth via A2DP with that upgraded stack.
I find that CorePlayer works great w/ A2DP.
I just got MOTO s9's today, I am able to hear music when listing to Coreplayer/tcmp but the Play, pause, next buttons don't work.
You can map the headset buttons to control playback with Hotkeys in CorePlayer the same way you map hard keys on the device.
If you want TCMP to play over a2dp when it doesn't automaticly do so you must go to the options menu, then audio options, then select Null audio in the audiodriver section. Press play, obviously you won’t hear a thing. Pause the music or video and go back to the audiodriver section then select wave output. Press play And voila you have bluetooth audio. This does the trick for me as it doesn’t play through headset automaticly.
hope this helps you.
Find the BTAudio.cab application if it works with your device.
Pair your device with 'JETware Mobile Extension 1.31' & configure it. Also do make the device in Bluetooth Discoverable mode, this will certainly help in streaming the music. Better try CorePlayer 1.2.4.
Hello
My device is XDA IIi (Alpine).
I got a bluetooth stereo with hands-free capabilities device qstarz BH-Q392S and I had my bluetooth stack updated with the needed profiles. I paired the devices and the stereo (high quality) and the hands-free profiles are working correctly. However, I have two buttons in my bluetooth stereo: "Next" and "Previous" that are used to change tracks. They are not working for me.
Is there a special program I have to install in order to make them work?
Did I miss something, or they cannot be used at all on Pocket PCs ?
The stack that you upgraded your device with, did they come with the headphones? I've got a pair of HP headphones and the track buttons don't work (on my magician) because the stack does not support it. If I had an HP device and installed the proper software the buttons would work.
Now it is working
First of all, my bluetooth stack was downloaded from: http://www.pdagold.com/forums/view_topic.asp?t=5012&fi=0
The buttons did not work with the normal windows media player, so I read that TCPMP has a support for buttons. After installing TCPMP I ran it, clicked "Options>Settings>Select Page>Advanced" and I checked the "Widcomm BT Audio button support" box. After restarting TCPMP the buttons worked !!!
I'm so happy!
HI,
I'VE UPGRADED MY BA WITH KitchenAKU3.5v2-XPLODE
tHEN I UPGRADED RADIO TO 1.15.
THE PROBLEM WITH MY BLUETOOTH (BT) HEADSET IS IT'S ABLE TO WORK WHILE USING IT WITH THE PHONE BUT WHEN I TRY TO LISTEN TO MUSIC USING WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER OR TCPMC PLAYER IT ALLOWS ME TO HEAR JUST FEW SECONDS OF THE SONG AND THEN IT BECOME AS MUTE.
IF I CLOSE THE PLAYER APPLICATIONS (BOTH WMP OR TCPMC) IT STARTS AGIN WORKING ALLOWING ME TO HEAR ALSO THE "TAP" SOUNDS WHEN I HIT THE SCREEN WITH THE PENCIL.
I HAVE TRIED USING ALSO AN OTHER KIND OF BT HEADSET AND THE REACTIONS ARE THE SAME.
NOTE: WHEN I CONNECT TO THE HEADSET BY BT THE MANAGER SHOWS ME THE AVAIABLE SERVICES FOR IT WHICH ARE "HEADSET" AND "WIRELESS STEREO" (AND CONNECTING IT IS POSSIBLE TO HEAR ALSO THE CLASSIC CONNECTION SOUND BY THE HEADSET).
Please, how can i solve the problem? do i need to use an other flash rom ?
PS: SORRY FOR MY ENGLISH ; I'M ITALIAN
I am having the same problem with the Wireless Stereo BT
And having a big head ache out in the nowhere!
Could you find the answer?

One way to solve the BTA2DP problem is you download the software from http://www.teksoftco.com/index.php section=freeware. Install the cert cab file if u using WM6. Pair your headset with ur pda by checking the box wireless stereo & hands free. Then press the green color button in front ot the screen to toggle pda with the headset after a sometime u will hear music from headset. hope this will help u
I turn off my plantronics 560 and media app (WMP), and turn it on again
then the app.
It works for me.
I have a Jabra BT620s bluetooth wireless stereo headset which I use as an headset and my music headset on the touch hd. I paired them succesfully and playing music with mediaplayer works perfectly.
The problem is when I turn on my Jabra headset. It pairs with my phone fine, but it isnt set as wireless stereo on start. So I have to set it in the bluetooth configuration screen everytime I turn the headset on, cause else the music plays over the speaker of the phone.
Is there anyway to let windows mobile always be forced to set the headset as wireless stereo?
Same problem with Funkwerk EGO Talk
I've have got the same problem with Funkwerk EGO Talk Bluetooth carkit with A2DP. Pairs at the start with Headset Profile, so calling works(except the hangup button btw, ?which redails?? most of the time). But it doesn't start the wireless stereo profile.
I have to "Set as wireless Stereo" everytime i reconnect with the carkit
Anyone has a solution or workaround to start "Set as Wireless Stereo" automaticly or at least in 1 button?
Guys, using the search function would have turned up the following solutions found previously on these forums:
a) use Mortscript to macro the key presses
b) firmware update the headset (i.e. Jabra)
c) try turning on music and bluetooth before the headset - worked for some people
I have the same problem as you, any other suggestions?
I've the same problem with Moto music/blutooth headset
Hmmm
I don't have this problem with my Sony-E HBH BT set. Each time I turn it on the pairing is automatic and get stereo immediately.
I also can have the pocket player or TF3D media player running or not and it will change "on the fly" to BT when I turn on the headset.
No problem here with Motorola S805's.
I turn the phone BT on, turn the headphones on, press play on the headphones and get music.
I have the same problem with my motorola S705
Auto pairing with calls is ok but not with stereo A2DP. I must turn headset on manually in the bluetooth otpions which is quite long and annoying.
Pairing was working good with my TyTN. So there might be a problem somewhere
I've had some problems with my Samsung SBH170 not connecting at all.
I removed them from the BT settings and repaired, now they are found with out problems, allthough not very quickly.
In 'Advanced Configuration Tool 3.3' I came across 'Bluetooth Audio Gateway Service' which was disabeled, I enabled it and rebooted, but it doesn't seem to make any difference on my machine. According to this thread it may be required to enable audio over bluetooth: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=424424
Regards JD
Can anyone tell me if its possible to NOT play music audio though my BT headset, while its connected? Id rather play music through the headphone/3.5mm jack.
Ive been using my tp2 for awhile, as my primary mp3 player, but now that I picked up a bluetooth headset (yes, just now) and leave it on in the car, the audio only goes through that.
Any way around that, or is this a matter of having my cake and eating it too?
Ive looked around a little on the BT options, but there isnt anything labeled "calls only" or "music audio only", etc.
I do have bluetooth music capabilities in the car and I have been using it as such. That is labeled "Stereo Audio". (Ive decided to switch to the 3.5mm jack and sync bt to the headset)
The headset is labeled "Hands-free"...and thats all I want it to be.
(Music player is TCPMP)
Summary:
Music audio through headphone jack
Calls through BT headset
...simultaneously
I've been trying to figure out the same thing. No luck.
What BT headset do you have and does it support A2DP?
Disabling A2DP on my Jawbone ICON seemed to do the trick.
Try this?
Start, settings, bluetooth. Click the gears, then advanced.
Scroll down to audio. Deslect "play system sounds on remote hands free device".
I like ALL sounds to come through the headset, if anything else, as to not bug others around me, but it's a personal choice.
I also have the Jawbone Icon, and, if you have A2DP running, everything comes through the headset...most of the time
