Galaxy Watch Active 2 Bricked - Samsung Galaxy Watch

Hello,
my watch was stuck in a rebooting loop, samsung wanted 250$ to try to repair it.
I deny to pay such amount of money for a watch I bought 3 months ago!! Almost for that price!
I received the unrepaired watch today, and for my surprise, the screen gives a new message:
"Firmware Upgrade Encountered an Issue. Please Select Recovery Mode in Kies"
Is it possible to solve this????
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks

Try to reboot your watch in download mode:
Step#1: Keep on holding the Home button on the watch till you see Rebooting popup appears
Step#2: Immediately start pressing the Home button until the recovery option appears
Step#3: now press Home button again to drop down to "download mode (wireless mode)
Does it work?

Thanks for the info, I read it entirely.
The solution will be to build a cable or solder one to the watch in order to connect it to my computer and install the firmware?
I would try, but I'm a bit lost, sorry for my questions, where can I obtain de firmware? is it everything needed when i install odin?

Maybe start at scratch...
Model Name?
Example
BT only Version is SM-R820 for instance...
Then funny range of LTE devices... SM-R825F U Z TR euoiejrwkjfbsdkjöchxölcnWFB JK
Few Firmware Versions floating around in this XDA area... but without knowing your Model Name...

Thanks very much for your help,
My model is SM-R820NSSAPHE
so it is available a firmware for that version? isn't it?
Thanks

If Download wireless is dead... then no netOdin work...
So USB cable...
IMHO 2 options...
A
""Go"" to Service Repair... maybe pay money for repair.
In Corona times harder to go to someone so you have to send in...
B
You like adventues... Soldering is no problem for you or your friends...
Also solderless solutions possible... Example of professional solution:

xda iis help needed.

hey guys..
i'm a new member to this site and i found the things talked about a lot interesting.
and would like to try out some of them but currently i think i'm in a diff situation wherein i have a xda iis (blue angel) which has traveled down my family chain for the last few years.
i have absolutely no idea about anything in it.
and somehow it is in bootloader mode through the execution of the enterbl.exe file.
now i'm unable to restart it by hard reset. and am unable to connect to it through mtty.exe
i was looking around in google until i stumbled on here. i did find the information valuable here. but i couldn't find the part to help me out.
has anyone faced such a situation.
i'd be greatful if u could plz help me out.....
We'll try ...
Hey attractiveaki,
Welcome to XDA-Developers forums
We'll sure try to help a fellow BA user get round their troubles!
So, tell us, what have you tried so far?
Have you tried the information on the following page?
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=BlueAngel_WM5_For_Beginners
And what about removing the battery overnight?
Watching and waiting...
Bird
thanks for the link but i already tried that...
i also tried to hard reset it a number of times but no use.
i tried to open it by connecting it to my laptop but i can't open it in mtty as well
gives an error that the port can not be opened.
also the bootlog mode automatically closes after a few mins and its difficult to come back to even this phase.
ryt now my cell is just completely switched off.
and another thing i had a windows mobile 2003 version not a windows mobile 5.
besides that i dunno anything ..
not even the language code or the area of purchase.
help me if u guys can..
How about this then ... ?
Try the following:
1) press the D-Pad centre button and then the mail button
2) press and hold the power button, then (keeping the button pressed) use the stylus to press the reset button - hold both for 30 seconds and release
Let us know what happens!
Bird
thanks for the tip but no use still....
i tried to remove the batterey overnight but its no use
then this method also is not helping.........
can i have it done at the local mobile shop.
or would that be useless as well...??

Looks like it's your only option now!
I'd check the prices for a BA on eBay first, just to make sure that you aren't paying anymore than that to have it fixed!?
Sorry I couldn't help

Whats happening with the S?
I had one in 2004 and sold it earlier this year.
Could be the battery is not holding it's charge?
Does it power on when connected to a USB port/mains?

[Q] Turning on without power button

Hi guys,
My Note 2's power button suddenly death. I want to bring that phone to service but before it i want to back-up and wipe all my phone data.
Can i turn on my phone without powerbutton? Is there anyway to do this?
PS: Sorry for my poor English
No, I don't think so. You will need the power button, but maybe there is someway like an expert can do it? IDK.
Have a look at this link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2128581
It's possible that you need to try different things because this link doesn't deal with Samsung device The purpose is to go into the donwload mode and cancel with Vol down to reboot the phone normally.

It will be a good idea to enter download mode to reboot. BUT, the problem will be: How should you enter download mode without the power button.

I opened up my phone and I fixed my power button. The phone's broken part is that:
http://i.ebayimg.com/t/Samsung-Galaxy-Note-2-II-N7100-i317-i605-L900-Power-Button-Connector-Flex-Cable-/00/s/MTYwMFgxNjAw/z/7w4AAMXQySpRSpbL/$T2eC16hHJGoE9nuQhoiDBRSpbKofjQ~~60_35.JPG
There was a very small piece on that part, but it was not the right place. I put it right place and my power button came back to life.
But i think it is a temporary solution, i should buy that part from somewhere.
And still we don't have answer that question: How can we turn on phone without press power button.

This happened to me Today. After a lot of browsing, I was unable to find any working solution. (I have an USB Jig but it was not with me).
By mistake, I did the following and it seems to work: plugged the phone and while it started to display the battery (before it shows the %age of green battery thinghy) I quickly pulled the cable out.
This jump-started it and it turned on
good luck.

Changed Moto 360 dpi, now buttons are off screen, so can't connect bluetooth or reset

So I was hacking around yesterday and changed the dpi on my Moto 360 to try to get a particular app to fit on screen, think I took it down to 100 or so.
Problem is, the watch got disconnected at some point, so I couldn't change the dpi back to 213, and now all the circle buttons that pop up when you, for example, try to pair via bluetooth or when you want to reset, are off the screen at the bottom. I can see them for a split second when they scroll in, but then they're off the screen and unreachable.
I've looked online to see if theres a way to hard reset the watch, but the closest I've found is holding the button down for 25 sec to restart the watch, but that doesn't really help me.
Anyone have any suggestions? Is my watch just bricked for life?

Well there's no way to connect the watch to anything via bluetooth at this point; if I go to pair with a device, the screen pops up asking if I want to pair, and the 'yes' and 'no' buttons are off the screen, out of reach.
(I don't have an Android device, using Androidx86 via Parallels).
What about recovery ?

I'm not sure what you mean by recovery? If you mean resetting, its the same thing as I mentioned, I can't select 'yes' when it asks me the follow up question of "Reset device?"

No, I don't believe I am rooted. But more importantly, no, I don't have a cable, there is no cable port on the Moto 360, that's the main issue here.
Short of tearing the watch open and soldering my own connection, there's no way to create a physical connection with this watch.
Yes there is a connection port! It is hidden under a sticker below where the watch strap mounts. If you look in these forums you can find instructions on how to make a USB cable. I am not sure it will help you but it is an option you should explore.
Yeah editing system files over bluetooth is just a bad idea IMO, you need that hard connection when you mess up
Here you go, time to start making your USB interface:

North American TCL 40S330 Android TV help

Hello, I am in trouble: I was stupid and tinkered with firmware, not only from another country, but also for the wrong model. I really need help finding an Update.img I can use specifically for my television model and region. I have searched and searched online and can't find any firmwares for the 40S330...
Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
I had a real similar problem with the 50s434. I grabbed v408 from the big thread, put it on a flash drive, and held the power button during boot to get it to flash it. The TV screen was still dark, but I could tell it was booting. At that point, I could plug the TV into my network, and even cast to it, but still no video. Next, I yanked the power cord, waited a few seconds, and then held the power button down for about 15 seconds with it still unplugged. The idea is that we're draining all the capacitors, so all the ram gets cleared. Finally, I plugged it in and the remote worked again, and everything came up.

Question Mi smart pen problem "K81 CS(DFU)"

Hey there everybody.
So I was using the stylus normally until the firmware update shows up, after a error on update the pen doesn't show up any more. I already tried to restore/restart the tablet and Bluetooth but without any success.
When I attech doesn't show anything, but when I remove pop a notification in red "charge your stylus now". BTW it already was in 100% b4 the update error.
Update: Apparently it's now showing as "K81 CS(DFU)" on Bluetooth and when I try to pair it says "couldn't pair with K81 CS (DFU) because of an incorrect PIN or pass key"
I have the exact same problem...any solution found yet?
Had this problem when i tried to update 1st time my gf Stylus on her tablet, first i tried with the (original) magnetic cover on and the stylus went onto DFU mode, i pressed on the button closer to the tip for about 10 seconds and the stylus went to normal mode(if i recall right). if this doesn't work try maybe the second button, or both at the same time.
Then i updated the stylus on my tablet without the magnetic cover.
Later received my own stylus and did the update procedure directly whitout the magnetic cover.
If the above doesn't work try to deplete the stylus battery, don`t connect the stylus to the tablet and leave it alone. i don't know the exact time it will last, maybe two days, or maybe a week or more, it has a tiny battery (25 mAh).
If succesfull reboot the table once, be sure to have the stylus linked but not attached to the tablet to be extra safe.
Good luck.

Hi there.
Unfortunately it doesn't work.
I left the battery dry and did all the rest, but when I try to connect to the pen in dfu mode it says "couldn't pair with K81 CS(DFU) because of an incorrect PIN or password".
Okay for some magical reason it worked today.
B4 I tried all the things again I opened the " service & feedback" app and started a "get Bluetooth log" and for some unknown reason it worked.

Thanks, but this solution is for those who can connect the pen but cannot update the firmware.
In my case, the pen doesn't even connect to the tablet anymore, so I can't change the contact sharing permissions.
Hey guys so I tried multiple message and I finally got it working.
I reseted the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi preferences.
I tried to hold the front button for 10 seconds.
I tried holding the back button for 10 seconds.
I called xiaomi support and they told me to reset the Bluetooth on Wi-Fi preferences and so I did that. Then I got a notification that my xiaomi pen update was complete and I noticed that now it was connected to my tablet.
Anyone else who didn't have luck by their side?
Still have the same problem. Showing k81 C's after update my miui to 13.1.3. any other suggestion what to do to fix it
how to solve this problem k81cs(dfu)
I got the same problem with the pen who appears as K81 CS(DFU), i'm trying a lot of things, but nothing works. If anyone got an other tip :/
I keep getting please chatge your stylus now eveen after 100% fix this so annoying
Same problem.
Mi Pad 5 global version 13.1.5
Mi Smart Pen was purchased from Amazon.de - and recently turned with "K81 CS(DFU)" issue.
There is no way to update the firmware as the firmware update is disabled. Attaching and detaching pen reports "Charge your stylus now" so there is some communication going on between both devices.
I've used the service and feedback to send the logs. Tried all workarounds described on XDA forums, nothing seems to help.
there is a lsposed module named maxmipad it removes bluetooth authentication so try it i dont have the pen
