About Project:
Citrus-CAF, unlike the name suggests, was initially based off CyanogenMod, in the early days of Marshmallow, we even had another name at that point. Later, taking into consideration feedbacks of the very first slew of testers and carefully studying the needs and demands of our users, we rebased the project to Code Aurora Sources, more commonly known as CAF. Time went by and Nougat released, and we decided that it was time, Citrus-CAF had to see the daylight. We rebased everything to the brand spanking Nougat released. Later we realized the true potential of CAF tags, how each of them altered the device performance on different SOCs. After a lot of thinking, we decided to keep different sources for difference SOCs in our git and hours of debugging later, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 was the first device to get a taste of our Tangy Nougat. In the beginning, it was just two people behind , but in time, a lot of people joined us, as each giving their own contibutions.
Citrus-CAF was built to create an amazing combination of customization, performance and most of the demanded features by our users, whereas we've Cardinal, to deliver minimal customizations, but the greatest stability!
Meanwhile, all of our Tangy sources are publicly available on our Github. We also do own a Google+ Community, where you can.... uhm... you know, do what all others do at forums and communities! (Just kidding, we got builds over there and a feature-wish bucket too ) Hope you enjoy your stay and taste the Tanginess of our work!

Camera may be slow to load. Wait until the flashlight QS tile can be toggled before opening the camera. (see HERE for more info, this is not just a kiwi issue)

First & foremost Thank you for all your efforts. you are great :good:
Been working with this for an hour and this is my feedback:
1- no preinstalled music player and equalizer
2- changing device them from display options only changes QS menu background and not the settings background as well.
3- taping on navigation bar options from "Custom Squash" causes settings to crash.
4- tap to wake does not work.
5- no option to lock the screen without using hardware button. ( like double tap on status bar to turn screen off)
6- no matter how many restarts I did, I always got "fingerprint enrollment was not complete" or even couldn't pass the "touch the sensor" page.

No obviously. Theoretically you can but you will have problems. It's almost like anyone can drink poison in life but only once.

Reboot and voila!
To get root access, reboot to recovery after ROM setup and flash Magisk.
Updating to a newer build (dirty flash):
Use the built-in OTA updater, or
Reboot to recovery
Wipe cache and dalvik cache

I set the animations to 0.25x speed and the rom became like a jet. Less specific but wonderfully stable. Battery performance seems to be good too.
After installation I had some trouble first, then most of them were resolved by auto or reboot. Whatever was working "Device Personalization Services" was constantly giving a "stopped" error. I also disabled it and problem solved.

Does this have OTA updates?

Same problem here. An update from play store fixed this.

The device does not go into sleep mode when Bluetooth is turned on. I checked it with the BetterBatteryStats app.
Battery performance is not what I expected either. It is more better than MIUI 12 of course, but I would expect better battery performance from such a lightweight rom.
Edit: Battery performance is fine actually.

It is confirmed. No deepsleep if BT turned on.

For me, yes. I'm not experiencing any major bugs or stability issues (since about 20hrs after installing the rom)

It's a fantastic Rom.
I have not had any installation problems and neither with use.
It is fast and stable.
Very good performance for me

i see.. so did you use display hal from los? ( i think ) when use these, it will cause bug in display color. like we use boost, then sometime color get wash. i get this issue in many rom btw. but i dont know it cause by display hal from los or not.

I used hals from PE which are based on CAF R tags, instead of the lineage hals that are Q ones for now

1. Remove all fingerprint/ Lockscreen Security in your current ROM
2. Download the Stock 17.0240.2107.100, Recovery (TWRP or SHRP) and Magisk.
3. Power off your phone and boot into Bootloader by pressing Volume up + Power Buttons
4. Boot Recovery using Fastboot
5. Flash the Recovery Installer and Reboot to Recovery
6. Flash Stock 17.0240.2107.100 + Recovery Installer for first time and Reboot to Recovery and do this again to ensure stock on Both Slots
7. Reboot to Recovery after flashing Stock for 2nd time
8. Flash Evolution-X ROM + Recovery and Reboot to Recovery and do the same thing again! (to ensure on both slots)
9. Format data in Recovery and Reboot to Recovery and then Reboot to System
10. Wait till ROM Boots. Upon Setup again go back to Recovery and now flash Magisk
11. Be sure to enable MagiskHide for Safetynet to pass
12. Flash the included SQLite Fix for GPay to work (Attached to this thread)
13. Wait till installation is completed.
14. Reboot to System and #KeepEvolving
Update / Dirty Flash
1. Download the latest ROM Zip
2. Reboot to Recovery

As far as I know Evolution-X does not come without gapps

I'm very excited to see this rom on this phone. Thanks a ton for porting it even if it is unofficial. It's not really my daily driver but I use it enough that lineage was a little lackluster. I did however use evox on my op8p previously and really enjoyed it. I really hope you keep this one going for a while the install process was a little long but it is very thorough. If I find any issues while using it, I will let you know!

Will custom kernel like kirasakura work ??

No, it's only for a10 for now

have heat problems I use it for a couple of hours. The battery is dead. The battery is dead. The temperature is heating up. But the usability is great. The disadvantages are as follows.

I expected some bugs coming to the rom but I don't find any major bugs or problems.
I clean flashed the rom and rom is fully stable
Apart from the the rom is unofficial, everything is so good
Battery life is great as other custom roms 8+ hours sot (in 60 hz)
& So much goodies like
EvoX customisation
Pixel launcher
Ambient display (wakes device for few seconds and shows song changes and notification in AOD)
In magisk CTS profile didn't pass, and later I found out it has nothing to do with the rom.
All payment apps work flawlessly with magisk hide enabled.

Great ROM, currently my daily. The only thing that doesn't seem to work is night light - tried the built in one as well as CF Lumen and Flux. The customisation options are fantastic and the battery life seems to match what I was getting on the stock.

The EvoX ROM was the best ROM for the Pixel 6 Pro until the maintainer abandoned it. I hope you get the camera problem fixed then I'll install the ROM right away. Thanks for your work.

The display seems to be flikkering in 120hz mode.
Edit: Forcing peak refresh rate makes the flikkering go away.

Testing ArrowOS temp issues with a temp fix thats been working, if no major batter drain during the course of the day i will upload it.

Due to me not having an 6 i personally dont build for it however i can run a build for testing.

Yes please if it isn't to much trouble I'd like to test it out. What's the difference with arrow os and Evo ? Is one more plain then the other? I love all these fancy mods these days.

ArrowOS is more focused on security and stability I believe, where EvoX has more customization.

Oh ok evo is more my thing then lol. If I was gon a go the stock type route I would look at the lineage os I think there like the base for most roms or pretty much just stock google rom which would already be super good.

Yaay! Thrilled to see someone adopt this (even though, I am camping on 12.x until I can figure out why Google blew that fuse, and if, for my purposes, that's more of a feature or a flaw. Or until I have a moment of weakness and impatience).
evoX6 was absolutely lovely on my OnePlus 6 ... well, until it wasn't. I got some sort of persist-partition-resident connectivity disease that made android 12.x not work right across everything on that phone. And in a moment of weakness and impatience, I acquired my P6P, thinking "yay, it has an evoX maintainer so I'll get my pretty ROM back..."
Only, of course, to then watch in dismay as both the OP6 and P6P maintainers quickly gave it up.
But don't worry, alvin14, et al.: I promise to limit any free-software-end-user entitlement tantrums to one post, max, if and when you throw in the towel as well .

Waiting eagerly for a new fixed version of this for Oriole. *fingers crossed*
