Thanks for the excellent ROM. Performs better (faster) than LineageOS 16. The only problem I noticed on Rhannah (XT1924-4) is that the system camera and whatsapp camera do not record videos. All they can do is take pictures. The solution for me was to install the Footej camera 2 which works perfectly for videos and photos.
works fine on my xt1924-9. just a little slow the gps. but all good. thanks JarlPenguin
Testing on rhannah thanks bro best dev
I know that this is probably a dumb question, but can this work on a nora XT1920dl device?
Arm o Arm64
Testing on rhannah (XT1924-4).
No camera issues here. Default cam app records well and all other apps do too.
Had no media sound when I first booted but was fixed after wiping cache in TWRP.
Screen recording always crashes. Tried default recorder and a third party app.

Use in built recorder. Not from pre-installed recorder app.
To use inbuilt recorder, go to Developer options> Feature flag > screen_recording
Note just press and hold power button until until screenshot menu appears. Hold screenshot icon and video recording will start
Thanks for the build bro . Hope you keep continue to support this device in future
Please can this work for James e5 play
Does this rom work for e5 play I see that the build for e5+ is the one used by e 5 play

I would like to thank the developers again for the excellent work. I installed the official ROM downloaded from the LineageOS site specifies for my model (XT1924-4 Rhannah) and is even better than that.
I installed the ROM but I have a problem and I can not activate the data, and configure the APN and I still have the problem, when I turn off the phone and turn it on the text appears LTE data but then disappears and I can not turn them on, Help

Using this build you'll be able to boot A/B system images on our z2_plus (A-only device)
Only Clean Installation Please
Bug Report Without logs means nothing
This build is mainly for GSIs flashing, it won't be updated very frequently. For anything else use the official build here
Do not report here in case any GSI doesn't boot, but report it to the ROM author
On this build you'll only be able to flash A/B system images, A-only ones won't work
To go back to a non system-as-root ROM you just need to flash the official TWRP and do a clean installation of a normal A-only build
Check https://source.android.com/devices/bootloader/system-as-root for a proper system-as-root documentation

List of GSI's:

Erfanoabdi's semi/GSIs (includes Android Q, Android P ports from Google Pixel Devices etc:
https://mirrors.lolinet.com/firmware/gsi/
Note: Use only A/B System Images with above system-as-root enabled LineageOS build
If you face issues flashing GApps on a GSI (which doesn't include GApps by default ofcourse) try the following steps
* After Flashing System Image *
-> Backup System Image
-> Wipe System, Data
-> Restore System Image
-> Flash GApps
-> Reboot
What works?
Everything in the above build, but it might differ in Generic System Image for example: VoLTE might be broken and pushing ims.apk in the system might fix it but not necessarily. Default Camera app can be unstable using third party camera can be a good option.
Tested GSIs:
* Erfanoabdi's Pixel Android Q dp2 - A/B slot image
* Erfanoabdi's Generic Android Q dp2 - A/B slot image
I'll take one as well..

Yes, could someone please tell what's the difference between this one and the official lineage is 16?
Nice work. In theory, would it be possible to flash the latest Android Q Beta 5 official GSI using this?

Here's a guide from XDA that explains the process:

Well I didn't get a response to this so I decided to try it for myself. Turns out that the official Android Q Beta 5 GSI provided by Google (on the Android website) boots fine on Z2 Plus. However, during the setup process at the point where it asks 'Choose screen lock', the page is empty (just white space) and thus it is not possible to continue from here.
So instead I will try reverting back to stock TWRP and flashing the A-only build of Android Q Beta 5 by Erfanoabdi.

Thanks a lot for the first Q ROM for our device....
Tried the ROM...found quite stable...but I couldn't install magisk ...so reverted back to my previous build...
But couldn't customize it...like any changes made in "system>status bar" option etc...couldn't be reflected as soon as it was changed...maybe I had no enough patience...
Anyways....thanks a lot for our first Q custom ROM...
Gj Thanks!

This ROM treble are non treble?
Great to see Android 10 come to our device so quickly! I hope you're able to fix encryption as soon as possible. I heard that Android 10 is using a new type of encryption (Adiantum) that runs a lot more efficient on older devices.
Amazing! Will test!

Hmm
was eagerly waiting for lineage 17 update, downloading,thanks so much dev, let's hope we'll get an official update soon
Huge thanks to the developer, very exciting to have Android 10 up and running on my device, with encryption in place!
PS: I couldn't get the beta version of Open GApps to flash in TWRP - It complained about a missing file in the ROM - I didn't make a note of what it said but I tried BitGApps instead and that worked fine: https://bitgapps.cf/arm64/Q/

The 20200115 gapps beta build was the problem. The next beta gapps should have it fixed.
so far very stable, everything works fine,the ui is almost perfectly smooth,but sometimes an app takes a milliseconds to get that opening animation running,lineage 16 is perfect in that ,when you tap an app it instantly responded,it needs a little work,but msn is it the best 10 rom out there,smoothest , lineage is the best
Thanks for the rom!
I'm having some issues...
1 - unable to hide apps in trebuchet
2 - unable to expand desktop
For now, only it.. if i found something i will update the reply...
I have an update about the problem I and another user reported in the TG group, where pictures and music were not appearing in the stock apps in Lineage 17 - After a couple of days of using this ROM my pictures and music have randomly started to appear in the stock apps. For some reason it took a few days for them to show up!

Brilliant Rom. Very fast and very good battery. I like him.

Excellent!
Noticeable changes at first glance:
- Accent color has been replaced by Styles and Wallpaper - Very Cool
- Dark mode toggle in Display
- Option to allow apps to use location only when app is being used (very iOS like and privacy friendly)
- In TWRP on mounting system, LOS apps like AudioFX seem to be in /system/system/priv-app earlier used to be in /system/priv-app
- Encryption works fine
Bugs
- Adding alarm, crashes the clock app
- Changing notification in any app (Signal, Whatsapp) crashes app

Can GSI's be flashed on this ROM...??
redchilis said:
Based on this article, "devices" are GSI flashable or not and not ROM's
Based on this list of GSI flashable devices, I'd say the Zuk Z2 Plus isn't GSI flashable ASAIK
I could be wrong, just did a Google search.
Click to expand...
Click to collapse
But, I've flashed many GSI's successfully... So z2 plus is a GSI flashable.
And to flash any GSI we need a proper treble rom(with a good vendor which actually supports flashing any GSI..)..AFAIK
I'm not sure whether it's a bug or not. I tried the new internal audio recording feature of Android 10 with com.kimcy929.screenrecorder, it's not working, nothing but silence was recorded.
Edit: It's working with the browser (with slight lags though). However, it didn't work while playing sound with the built-in file manager.

LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.

thx dev for that
thx for this rom :good:
Thx OP
Is OTA enabled ?
I tried this ROM and I like it's very fast. It's very usable. I hope can you support this ROM more time. I love that autobrightness works very well, and I can record 120fps with ROMs camera.
Save a lot of battery and it works very well with stock gapps.
-Plz, help with low volume with record apps. I tried to record some video and audio, and sound very low.
Thank you.
I need help with the camera, default one doesn't open (instant crash) and trying to install other mods (Urnyx for example) is very unstable, image doesn't show etc.

Thank you!
I ended up flashing a GAPPS without the default GCAM, then I was able to install other APKs such as Urnyx' and now everything works flawlessly.
Great ROM, call volume works, auto brightness works, so far no bugs at all!
bug: The front camera accept resolution max 4MP and not 16MP.
What advantage does this ROM offer over this one (https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-s2/development/rom-lineageos-17-1-t4042045) given its higher kernel version and higher power use?

Bug Report Without logs means nothing
Reporting Bugs :
DO NOT Report bugs if you installed Xposed or weird magisk modules
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /sys/fs/pstore/console-ramoops and /sys/fs/pstore/dmesg-ramoops-0. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues. Any bug not reported in the bug report format below may be ignored.

@DD3Boh Thanks a ton for Lineage 19.1 for Zuk z2 plus. Sir, any specific reason why Zuk Z2 Plus is yet to get a Lineage 19.1 official build? Thanks and as always appreciate your efforts.

Try different twrp, vendor sometimes don't need to be wiped. I had that issue before due to treble twrp version I used check for that.
Thanks for the official support for Android 12, but for now it looks too raw in comparison with LOS 11.
1) The animations and overall system speed are much slowlier than it was in LOS11.
2) On the home screen there is a reserved space for navigation buttons, I can't hide it, navigation buttons are turned off in the settings. And there are some extra space from the right side of the battery icon.
