My QTEK-1010 is locked and I am unable to open with the 4 digit password. I was using device lock instead of sim security lock but now I am unable to use my QTEK-1010 it does not accept the password. If some one likes to help me to open my device.

You have a pattern protection on your device, and you set the pattern you have selected to ask you for pattern when you start your phone up, reboot to system and remove pattern lock and then you should be fine...
Next time when you set an pattern select no thanks option as shown in the screenshot.
Ditto
If there's a pattern, it usually means you've got a pattern lock. Use the same pattern and it'll be locked.
Just use the same pattern that you use if you startup you're Android device. When you have no pattern, go to settings > locksreen > then remove pattern if not done already > set new pattern > there will popup a messege asking is you want to use a start-up password (or something like that) > No thanks. Should work now.
It is a good idea to have some security on the recovery but the interface is dodgy. It normally takes 2-3 tries because the screen can't seem to keep the touch and drag registered nicely.
See if this helps. This will remove whatever password you have set on your device.

[SOLVED] Encrypted but no need to enter password

Hey guys,
I have always had my op3 encrypted and I've become used to always entering the pin when booting up, accessing twrp etc. but today when I rebooted into twrp I didn't have to enter any pin to use twrp. When booting up the system I didn't have to enter a pin either.
When I check the settings under Security & Fingerprint it looks as in the attached screenshot, I don't have any options to decrypt or anything either
I'm running OOS 4.1.3, FrancoKernel #23 , Magisk 12, twrp-3.1.0-x_blu_spark_v27.
Is this something that anyone has experienced and know how to fix?
I want to keep my encryption but then, of course, you should have to use the pin.
Cheers!
Then the pin is defaulted and thus you don't need any. I don't need one, too and never did, but all is encrypted (Even locked down with a pin on bootup and fingerprint otherwise)
I believe this is an option you need to setup during the wizard when you initially set up the device. It asks you whether you want to require a pin on startup or not.
But, you can also turn this on by going to settings>security>screen lock.
From there, you click on the area where it says PIN. Confirm your pin, then click PIN again, and there should be an option to require pin for startup. Other than that, you are still encrypted, but it is all bypassed in order for quicker startup.

Ah that was it! it had somehow disabled itself, simply going in and enabling "require pin to start device" solved it.
Thanks!
Try removing the lock screen password and setting it up again and it will be back again in twrp.?

Search bar crash>reboot>no input method for password entry

So our Moto Z2 play, app search bar crashed, and the phone was rebooted. The fingerprint scans, and asks for a password, we know the password, but after touching the entry field, no keyboard is displayed. I'm at a loss, because the phone is only 5 days old, and this all happened 30 minutes ago...Any suggestions or help is appreciated.
edit: I've tried rebooting into safe mode, and the same problem exists (i.e. no keyboard displayed when attempting to enter the password to unlock the device)
Solution: Factory reset from recovery.
Thank you,
Dah

To Start android, enter your PIN after reboot ?!

Hi,
This morning i took my phone off the charger as usual. And i thought i had not rebooted my device in a while (i do that from time to time and never had an issue) but now, my device showed a page where it says "start android enter your pin right pin".
This is already weird because i never set a pin but i set a pattern. I tried some pins that might be it but all were wrong. Then i googled it and found that android device manager can do this because of suspicious activity (?!?). I also found that i had to enter the PIN that simulates the pattern i entered.
This does not help/work either. Once or twice i got the message "to continue turn your phone off and back on" but that just brings be back to entering the pin.
Normally after a reboot, i have to enter my sim PIN first and then enter my set Pattern and everything works like normal.
How can i fix this WITHOUT erasing the device?
EDIT: I am not rooted nor do i have any custom rom. It's all original.
