Where to get stock boot image for Galaxy J2 pro?

Does anyone know where I get the stock boot image to flash to my phone with odin?
Galaxy J2 Pro. SM-J250F/DS (Thailand)
I'm trying to install Magisk but it always fails with the error "Boot image patched by unsupported programs. Please restore stock boot image"

You can download stock from Sammobile or Updato, look in the AP_ file with something like WinRAR. You will see boot.img there.
Just add it to your SD CARD and flash it via TWRP. If you don't know how to flash boot.img via TWRP you can google it

Thanks Matamoros. I don’t know why googling didn’t find those.
Anyway the end to a long long story is I managed to install the stock firmware, so now Magisk loaded without errors and I was able to root my phone.
Job done.

I also need update my phone and i am looking for this AP: FA71_j205FXXU2ARD2 and CP: J250FXXU2ARC3 - which one should i look for? and I cant seem to find the number in Updato or anywhere else. FYI I am now stuck in factory binary which I have had flashed a combination file. Now FRP and OEM are not lock. Any help would be much appreciated...

You can download the latest available firmware using Frija, it's recommended over all.

Flashing Question. Please Help.

Hey guys. Got my ATT fold today and would like to flash the 'unlocked' firmware onto it. I've downloaded the newest ODIN file and the U1 file for firmware. I have my phone in download mode and connected to the PC.
I can launch ODIN and load the files but when I attempt to run the program I get a error message...FAIL SHA256 Is Invalid. If I hit start again I get...Complete Write Operation Failed.
Any help? Thanks.

Are you trying to flash "U1"-firmware to an "U"-device?
THAT's the problem: NOT possible!

actually U1 to U is possible using patched Odin. I just did the conversion using an Odin version that I used for a Note 9 that I had. i can't remember where I got it from but here's a thread that has the same version (per the file name) that I used: https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/patched-odin-3-13-1-t3762572

Will try downloading stock images and flashing boot via magisk manager.

Had to patch boot.img myself. I'll attach the patched image with magisk installed for those on T870XXU1ATJ4

All I have is the Tab S7+ SM-T970NZKEXAR which I just got recently and was wondering what's working for it and what's not is all

is this the way to update to A11 as well?
Or since i already used the patched magisk(atk4), i can just flash the proper firmware with odin?

If you update to Android 11 you'll need an updated boot image.

I've yet to find the 11 firmware for T870 otherwise I'd make one and post it.
EDIT:
Just found it... I'll download it and make a patched boot file and post it. Hopefully it'll be up in a couple of hours.

I have an app that requires a package be installed in system/priv-app for root. TJ4 it installs OK but not TK4. So I went back to TJ4 from TK4 so I could fully use my beloved GSam battery app. I'll wait and see what 11 is doing before (if) I upgrade.

After unsuccessfully trying to root latest DUB5 firmware form T-mobile with Magisk - found a solution:
1. Patch original T-mobile AP with Magisk.
2. Replace BL_N986USQU1DUB5_CL20936746_QB38027387_REV00_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT.tar.md5 with any other Snapdragon BL image from Android 11 (Latest XAA will work).
3. T-Mobile apperently locks vbmeta to official state in latest firmwares.
4. If you do not repalce BL file, you will get an error "vbmeta_fail" and your phone will get locked.

Question Update and keep root and data

hi guys,
so finally the update for european devices is available.
normally the update runs automatically but my fold is rooted and due to that it will not update.
how is the procedure to update and keep my root and my personal data?

What i planning to do for now:
- Backup everything with Migrate.
- Update with sideloading Odin (patched AP file).
- Restore everything with Migrate.
Other ideas?

will it be enough only to flash the PDA file? i assume you have to flash BL, PDA, CSC and Home CSC??

Grab your latest firmware , get the AP file and patch it with your magisk app
Then Odin flash the full firmware , using the AP magisk patchfile @ AP Tab
Use CSC_HOME file @ CSC Tab ( to keep all your data and actual setup )
Done > Updated with root + data + setup

Yeah, of course. I rooted my device so i used odin.
okay. i take the 4 files and the home_csc file.
i hope data will not be wiped and magisk/root and lsposed keep active after update

As you are rooted, you will NOT receive OTA updates. You will need to Download the firmware, patch the AP file on phone with Magisk and flash the entire firmware in ODIN (using the Patched AP file)...
This has been stated multiple times...
If you did get n OTA update it would cause problems as it would most definitely unroot your phone...
