LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 10, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.

Install instructions
Flash the newest T-Virus release (if you have already installed T-Virus, reflash the newest release it contains a fix to TWRP)
After T-Virus has flashed and it has booted to the Android 10 GSI test environment, type this command to reboot to recovery mode
Code:
adb reboot recovery
Once in recovery, copy the Lineage OS zip file to the internal storage
Go to the Install section and flash the Lineage OS zip
After the zip has flashed, go to Wipe->Advanced Wipe, tick the "Dalvik /ART Cache" and "Data" boxes and wipe them
Head to Wipe->Format Data and type yes to format the data partition
Finally go to the Reboot section, select Slot B to switch to the flashed slot and then to System and swipe to reboot
Profit?
OpenGApps/Magisk:
After the ROM successfully boots up, many of will will want to install Magisk and/or OpenGApps. To do that you need to install the latest TWRP release
Code:
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot flash:raw boot --slot=all twrp-3.4.0-0-NB1.img
fastboot reboot
After that reboot to recovery, flash OpenGApps and/or Magisk. If you flash OpenGApps don't forget to wipe the data partition to prevent Google Setup from crashing

Notes:
Only Clean Installation Please
Bug Report Without logs means nothing
Magisk is untested
In case you flashed any gapps, re-flashing is needed if you're updating the ROM
Reporting Bugs:
DO NOT Report bugs if you installed Xposed or weird magisk modules
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /sys/fs/pstore/console-ramoops and /sys/fs/pstore/dmesg-ramoops-0. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues. Any bug not reported in the bug report format below may be ignored.

You gotta be kidding me... @emufan4568
Are you the maintainer? Great work, appreciations.
Should Selinux permissive be considered as BUG? It's a state with its own properties...
Camera is not mentioned to be working or not.
Finally it's here ! Great work :good:
Hopefully I'll be able to use it on a daily basis soon :victory:
Thank for great work sir
Wow great work I knew that you could do it!

You have to replace "/path/to/boot.img" with the path of the file on your computer... If your prompt is already in the same folder than your files are then just put the filename and it should be ok...
Actually I'm not sure if you should install this ROM as you don't really sound familiar with command prompt, you'd better wait for a stable release as it's just intended for testing.

The boot command does not work for the Nokia 8. You have to flash T-virus TWRP, then flash OpenGApps, reboot to download mode again and then type "fastboot format userdata" to prevent the Google Setup from crashing. Please read the whole thread before asking any questions
So... I used the rom for a few hours, played with settings, captured some videos and pictures, etc. Controls over buttons amazed me. Camera was good (I didn't have access to pc to compare in detail, but lower volume of photos was apparent, it could be because of higher compression or else), better than stock (except for interface!). Long story short, I came back to stock just for one thing, the ringtones. It looked like that there is some problem with their properties which is preventing usability. Rest is pure awesome.
P.S. (about stock packages) offline ota updates provided by @THMSP (specifically 488L for 488K!) don't seem to work. Also 5.15x firmwares (above 5.150) have problems in their system image file. Their offline updates don't seem to work either.

You need to use the :raw tag with flash. Running fastboot flash:raw boot_a twrp_treble.img work for me

Ringtones, Headphones and NFC have been fixed. New build will be up soon
Awesome work man! I have a suggestion, make a modified T-virus with LineageOS bundled with it. I'll start working on AIO 2.0 for Treble soon
Suggestion: Use Google Drive to upload rom files. Github is painstakingly slow af for me, while others work just fine. Please do something about that
My wifi will not work, installed following instructions works fine except for wifi. Phone is TA-1012
New release is up! Download from here: https://github.com/GPUCode/android_device_nokia_nb1/releases/tag/v1.1 Fixes include:
* Headphones
* Ringtones
* Bluetooth audio
* NFC
Now the release comes with a TWRP flashable package. The thread has been updated with new installation instructions

audio (cant test that in class )

Everything i forgot probably
As you can see on the "Working" list, this is a highly experimental build, flash at your own risk, and don't come crying to me if it should brick anything (it didn't for me, but seeing from the TWRP Thread the V30 can be picky).
Dont forget to make a backup!!!
If you want to report any bugs, NEVER do it without providing logs. I can't try to fix things without logs.
Helpful log commands:
logcat (usage: e.g. logcat > /sdcard/logcat.txt )
dumpsys (usage: e.g. dumpsys SurfaceFlinger > /sdcard/dump_sf.txt)
dmesg (usage: e.g. dmesg > /sdcard/dmesg.txt , might need root)
for more examples on how to use the commands, either google (do that first) or ask (only do this if you already googled how to use those commands).
FAQ
USB isn't working. How do I get logs?
In the ramdisk theres a nice little script which will print the logcat to /data/ramoops/cm14.1_<number>_logcat_<date/time>.txt
The logcat is many many hundreds of MB in size, why?
Its currently spammed with something like this:
Code:
E/QMI_FW ( 674): xport_reg Failed for service_id=0x35 version=0x1001 on 15
Replace
Code:
[0-9][0-9]-[0-9][0-9] [0-9][0-9]:[0-9][0-9]:[0-9][0-9].[0-9][0-9][0-9] E/QMI_FW ( [0-9][0-9][0-9]): xport_reg Failed for service_id=0x35 version=0x1001 on [0-9]*[0-9]
in the log with your favorite editor which can use regex with nothing (or delete all those lines if you have that option)
Is there another way to get some logs?
In Developer Options, turn on "Local Terminal", and get a logcat or other logs with that.
The screen glitches, is there a way to fix this?
I hope so, working on this too.
After restoring my backup with TWRP, my phone won't recognize my PIN (not SIM PIN). What todo now?
Just follow the guide on here. Afterwards you have to setup your PIN again (also Fingerprints, and enable Trusted Agents in Settings -> Fingerprints & Security)

I agree... FC everywhere
But I hope it's a first step...
Exam time here though, so i couldnt really work on this more :/
But i have hope now for actual Treble support (we have a partition called OP, idk how important the stuff in there is though, 344MB if im not wrong, gathered all the Oreo blobs from the V300S kdz (i hope i have all needed ones), and those take up 324MB xD)
But atleast already a working recovery (TWRP 3.2.1) which would recognize the /OP as /vendor
Will work on each project a bit more when exams are over
i don't know if can help someone to build lineage or aosp based rom, btw here are the link to source and kernel for v30:

The logcat is taken automatically, as for idk why it wont be recognized via USB... (same kernel as the TWRP, ramdisk and so should also work), just boot into recovery after you used it a bit (if it even boots, otherwise do the button dance), and there, before you wipe/restore a backup, go to advanced -> file manager, browse to /data/ramoops and copy the log in there to the sdcard or whatever else is safe

Resurrection Remix the ROM has been based on LineageOS, SlimRoms, Omni and original Remix ROM builds, this creates an awesome
combination of performance, customization, power and the most new features, brought directly to your Device.
Many things that in previous versions were tweaked with mods, are now included by default in the ROM so, please enjoy!
Special thanks to the LineageOS team, Omni team, SlimRoms and of course to all the supporters.
Make sure you have the latest TWRP.img
Download the latest RR-P zip and GApps zip (opengapps nano or smaller)
fastboot boot twrp.img (TWRP cannot be flashed permanently at this time)
If coming from stock for the first time, flash copy-partitions-AB.zip from second post (It takes a backup of active slot to inactive slot)
In TWRP, choose -> Wipe -> Format data and type "yes" at the prompt (Note: this will wipe internal storage)
Flash latest RR-P.zip
Reboot and let the ROM boot once (it is necessary to reboot between ROM flash and GApps/Addon flash due to verity/slot-swap logic)
Reboot back to bootloader and fastboot boot twrp.img again
In TWRP, choose -> Wipe -> Format data and type "yes" at the prompt (You may be able to get away with just doing a factory reset at this point, but that's on you to try)
Flash Google Apps package (optional)
Flash Magisk (also optional) (Note: If Magisk doesn't stick after setting up your device, fastboot boot twrp.img one last time and flash it again, no need to wipe anything)
First boot may take up to 10 minutes.

If you have a major bug to report that has not been reported already, please take the following steps to report it to us. It will save you, Team Resurrection Remix and me quite some time.
Download the MatLog app from the Play Store.
After downloading the MatLog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving. As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into MatLog and stop the log recording.
Copy and paste the entire log either to Hastebin or Pastebin
Save the log, and copy and paste the link into the thread with a brief description of the error.

It has some Moto Mods support, yes. I only have the battery mod that came with the device, and it is working (both default and efficiency modes). There should be support for more mods as well, but not all mods.

It's possible. You just need to type in a fastboot command, paste a code into their website, then paste the unlock code into fastboot. It only takes a couple minutes.

Sunshine says it can but it needs root and there's no way to root this device.

First step is to go to Motorola bootloader unlocking site and follow the steps there. Once you've followed their steps, you should be unlocked and ready to go.
Keep in mind, the install instructions in the OP aren't entirely correct for this device. In fact, it's a little more complicated than that.
I'll update the OP with better install instructions later this evening. There is also a zip that needs to be flashed if coming from stock for the first time. If you look in the G6+ forums in the OP of Lineage-16.0 thread, you'll see what I'm talking about. The process is mostly the same.
Wow! Glad to see a custom ROM for this phone. I will be trying it out in the next day or so.
So I installed this morning, looks good. Send and receive text works fine, unable to receive or make phone calls with Google Fi. Also the phone will not hang up, gets stuck in hanging up, wont end in force stop, only way to end it is with a reboot. I know others had phone issues with Verizon in Lineage.
If you need any more info or logs let me know.

First I've heard of this, but I will obviously look into it. If you can, please get a log while reproducing the issue. I use my device daily and make and receive calls without any issues, so I'd imagine it's a simple fix for you Verizon guys [emoji6]
Do have an install of twrp yet? Or still temporarily boot into twrp recovery to install rom?
Thanks for the new rom Dev!
so i installed and test with mods battery mods work
speakers dont
projector does
camera mod doesnt
also issue with the hanging up issue was on mine as well with tmobile
and then using pixel launcher caused a strange "phone is starting" never ending screen on reboot but was gone in safe mode?? ill test a bit more on that
ignore

I have access to Google Fi and Verizon sims, so I can pull logs for both.
Actually with Lineage it was opposite. I could do incoming and outgoing calls, but I could not do text either way, and the phone app would crash when I did. I was noting that others had a problem with Verizon phone calls.
I could not even get service with Verizon, so that was a bust.
Here is what I got with Google Fi
Text out. OK
Text in. OK
Call in. Went to voicemail after ring timeout
Call out. Failed, never rang on either end
Hang up. Failed

Gapps
The recommend package at the moment is this:OpenGapps_arm64-BETA
* Flash this after first boot(with patch zip flashed) and ignore Setup Wizard errors
* Open Play Store and Log in
If you get some errors about Play Services make sure it has full permissions.
Aosp has "ugly" ui
I am sorry for giving you AOSP, hi6250 sources aren't good for other rom actually. As soon as I am able to fix these issues with other custom roms I will provide them, otherwise I will customize it starting from next build by bringing pixel styles and new apps with recent ui look.
NOTE: while inatalling gapps you can may face error 70 insufficient space error, just resize system and if the problem persist flash pico gapps !
Thanks for developer
I'm testing it right now. Flashing runs flawless. Rom runs well so far. ... More later.
First of all, I'm glad that I can use a pure aosp on this phone now. It can be used as daily driver. A cool thing is that I only needed to set device fingerprint to p8lite in magiskhideprops to fully pass safetynet. now it only needs nfc working, but I guess we need to wait for phh and his updates for now.
Two things I recognized pretty fast are GPS needs little help to get a fix, first fix needed nearly 4 minutes but then it gets fast fix but always with support (used gpstest from f-droid store) and downloads via wifi are generally (quite) slow.
Also I can't copy stuff from intern to ext sdcard.
This is not a real "bug report" as it is possible that I did something wrong, you'll never know. Just talking and see if anyone has the same issues. Cheers
Added new gapps and steps for their installation in OP and 2nd post.

Thanks for reviewing, I forget to include GPS stuff, in next build it will be fixed !
Nfc is almost fixed, we got it enabling at the moment.
For sd card I will take a look.
Here's a working fix to get nfc option (but no tile): https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=81021365&postcount=26
Q looks promising for our chipsets.
I am working on to include everything in the system.img without using another zip. Do you want gapps included too?
For this time i preferred to use .img instead of a .zip format because most of TWRPs have some flashing issues. Do you want back the zip or no? I prefer no tbh, dunno about you. Let me know

It is a good decision to leave it as system.img, you mentioned it already, no flashing issues. Included gapps would shorten the flashing procedure a little, so I would also prefer this too.
PS: i just shared the fix to simply spread the ongoing progresses a little more. A working Q build that's now passing safetynet easily and already has working nfc (temporary with fix). That's huge progress. I'm really excited of what comes up the next weeks (not to hurry )

Does ''offline charge not working'' mean that we aren't able to charge the phone while it is turned off or when it is locked?
I installed this ROM on my Mate 10 Lite. Works awesome but i cant get GApps working from the 2nd Post. I didnt get the Option to enter the Email and Password. Settings already set. Any Ideas ?

I have a question, the charge of 9watts are working?
Hey,
I own a Huawei P10 Lite (WAS-LX1A, non-rebranded), and I followed your steps, using Askuccio's TWRP v1.0. I got it up and running, and I installed Magisk and the Android Patch, however, when I was figuring what worked and what didn't work, I took a screenshot and it said it couldn't due to storage issues, or something like that, which raised a red flag, and made me go and check how the file manager reported space, and sure enough it was reporting the +-32GB the phone had, however it was encrypted, which justified the storage issues. I did forget the GApps, which I'll install shortly to see if that was the problem. I also suspect that it can be related to the fact that I set the PIN without having used it to log in, so I'll reboot and test that out.
EDIT: Rebooted the device, entered pin, data is still encrypted

I did get to that point, however I noticed on the 9.0 ROM the internal/external storage is featured as a working feature, so @DarkJoker360 it would be pretty helpful to new users to state that the internal storage isn't working, while the external does

You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.
Important Info:
To flash this rom you need TWRP 3.3.1.0 or newer.
Make sure you have the vendor, radio, & bootloader img's installed, from the stock oreo 8.1 OPM7.181205.001 Dec 2018 factory image.
They can be extracted from the factory image on google's site here. Or you can use the ones linked below that I already extracted:
vendor, radio, bootloader img's: https://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=286833
The vendor img is flashable with twrp or fastboot. For the radio and bootloader img, use fastboot.
Instructions:
If updating from an unofficial lineage-17.1 build, follow the steps below:
If you don't already have them installed, flash the newest vendor, radio, and bootloader img's linked above.
Boot into TWRP.
Flash the ROM zip.
Reboot & enjoy.
NOTE: if you previously flashed gapps and/or the su addon, there's no need to flash them again. They will be automatically re-installed during rom zip installation.
If coming from a different ROM:
If you don't already have them installed, flash the newest vendor, radio, and bootloader img's linked above. also make sure you have the newest twrp, linked above.
Boot into TWRP.
Wipe system & data & cache partitions.
Format data.
Flash rom & GApps & su zips (GApps & su zips are optional).
Reboot & enjoy.

Reporting Bugs:
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues. Any bug not reported in the bug report format below may be ignored.

Grab our recovery from the peripherals section and install it.
Through TWRP Recovery:
Install Zip > Install Image > Choose ‘recovery.img‘ > Select partition ‘Recovery’ > Swipe to confirm flash
Through Fastboot:
Code:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Install the ROM and then wipe your internal data partition.
Through TWRP Recovery:
Wipe > Format data
Through Fastboot:
Code:
fastboot -w
Reboot into system and wait until the process finishes, it could take a little bit. After the installation is done, I suggest waiting before using the phone because it usually goes into thermal throttling after installing a ROM.

Face unlock has been officially removed in android 10 so that's not a problem . Same with battery percentage not showing . And regarding BLOD , just flash the updated BLOD workaround by osm0sis over the ROM not the 4core boot.img and there will be no lag . And does digital wellbeing and pixel launcher work ?

Google Camera 6.2.030.244457635 is the last version that will work with our device. Unless you use a modded one.
To offer some early feedback after playing with it for only a few hours, this seems to be working remarkably well. I installed with Open GApps 10 beta pico, and Magisk 20.1.
Battery life actually seems better than it was on LOS 15.1 (Android 8.1), though that could be because I dramatically slimmed down the apps I have installed (from ~150 to ~50). Overall, everything seems very smooth, fast, and efficient. It's a very refreshing experience, since this phone had been getting slower and slower.
I've had a couple apps freeze on launch, but closing and reopening always seems to resolve the issue.
I haven't figured out what GCam I'm going to use yet. I'm probably going to run through several of the suggested apks on Celso Azevedo' Google Camera Ports site until I find one that works reliably.
Visual voicemail in the phone app failed to setup, but that could be an issue with my carrier (T-Mobile). I haven't tried to troubleshoot that yet.
Everything else seems to be working great. Calls, GPS navigation, etc. No major issues.
This is amazing work, @PixelBoot. Thank you so much!

-- bit more friendly stock -> lineage instructions --
1. Unlock the bootloader
- Connect to WiFi network
- Enable OEM Unlock in developer options
- Turn off the tablet
- Boot to download mode manually by plugging in USB and holding all the buttons for few seconds
- Follow instructions on the screen
2. Connect to WiFi network and make sure OEM Unlock in developer options is still checked
3. Flash custom VBMeta image ( https://dl.twrp.me/gts4lvwifi/vbmeta.tar.html ) in Odin ( use AP slot )
4. After flashing VBMeta, boot to stock. It'll likely ask you to wipe data, if so do that
5. Connect to WiFi network and make sure OEM Unlock in developer options is still checked
6. Now you can flash TWRP ( https://dl.twrp.me/gts4lvwifi ) in Odin ( use AP slot once again ), for convenience you can hold volume up while flashing it so that you boot to recovery right after it's flashed
7. Install Lineage × whatever else you need ( gapps, addon-su, ... )
8. Format data
9. Reboot ( make sure to not install TWRP app when TWRP asks you to )

Also Odin download for those who can't find it on their own https://build.nethunter.com/samsung-tools/Odin_3.13.1.zip

Builds 20210531+ depend on Android 11 firmware, and thus from now on the recovery will abort the installation if you're still on Android 9 or 10 one.
You can update the firmware by flashing following Odin package: https://github.com/luk1337/gts4lv-fw/releases/tag/T720XXU2DUD7.
After the firmware update you should be able to flash newer builds.
That was fast. You know what i'm sayin
Working good , just SD card exfat bug (TAP to fix) but thx for Android R so fast!
Which gapps you use?

I have a new tablet running Android 10. I want to double check what I need to do. First I need to enable Dev mode and OEM and then unlock the bootloader, boot and enable wifi but don't create a google or samsung account or install any apps. Just enable Dev mode again. Then boot to download mode and flash vbmeta from AP. Boot to system and if it request a factory reset, do that. Again wifi and dev mode and back to download to flash TWRP. Now I can flash the LOS 18 build.
Question. Does the build include gapps? I don't see a gapps for LOS 18.
First of all, I want to thank you for your great work. Second, I want to ask how to root, because flashing latest Magisk canary leads to download mode and ROM doesn't boot with it

I flashed full package and it worked for me. However, before flashing it I edited nikgapps.config inside of the file to change SetupWizard from 1 to 0 to disable it because they say it's buggy.
I cant boot....can you tell me steps you follow

Got it working. Without setup, I'm having to install my apps one by one but no big deal. Starting from BTFN didn't help. I still had to flash the AP and BL files from post #3.

I'll release build /w working exfat in few hours.
BTW could you replace that gapps link with the actual source of it? https://forum.xda-developers.com/asus-zenfone-max-pro-m1/development/rom-aosp-10-0-t3964820 is where the zip actually comes from.
Does chrome works good because for me it stucks and force close

Am I correct in assuming that first you flash magisk and then flash this file? Or do you flash it instead of magisk?
