Hi guys,
I've just bought a Note 10+ 5G hand carried from USA, Verizon operator
Latest update is on 1/Jan/2020
But when I check the update OTA, it shows " Your current software version is not supported. ..."
I knew that latest update should be in Oct/2020
Could anyone help me on this issue ?
And you are using it on Verizon?

That is why you're not getting Verizon OTA updates.

only true official updates are for sprint and Verizon wireless AT&T and T-Mobile haven't released there updates yet. In Canada the t889v and the i317m received there kit Kat updates so the United States should be next on the list.

I called samsung and they said that it must be a "misprint" on my baseband version. He said he wasn't aware of a DOI3 version..if he's wrong, what security update is it?stage fright patch?

I asked cuz I tried rooting and had to flash the "odin files in progress" thread. I am thinking that that is what happened.....?

Any one know where i can download this update and update manually? I have a att note 4 on tmobile. I use to be a att customer. But i was told by tmobile that my device software updates have to come from att because i have a att branded version of the note 4.

I just got a Verizon SIM and put it in my phone and left it dormant. OTA update popped up in about an hour. Downloaded and installed, then switched RIGHT back to the Magenta Mobb. No issues.

Anyone running a Samsung/carrier unlocked S9 on Xfinity Mobile network? I’d rather avoid buying one from then to avoid bloatware.
Do all the S9s have all the same bands? Heard people having issues with u locked s8/s9 on XM.
Also if I buy an unlocked will I still get software updates?

I have 2 S9's on Xfinity with zero problems!

There is some bloatware, but it is removable. And still receive monthly updates.

How do I activate my Note9 on Xfinity? It was originally from Sprint but it is now unlocked.

All galaxy devices are identical since the S8 apart from the 2 processor choices and sim tray configurations. Every qualcomm S9 is exactly the same at the motherboard level and all have the same capabilities. Get whichever G960U you like and if you have any issues getting the verizon service up and running on it, get the latest firmware from sammobile.com/firmwares and flash it in Odin. By doing so, you now have a full fledged verizon phone that should work with 99.999% of vzw MVNOs including XM

For snapdragon unlocked note 10 plus.
Have you noticed any improvement in the camera department? I've noticed a faster fingerprint recognition and unlock.
I haven't really checked the camera

I Don't think carriers do anything for updates on unlocked phones.

They actually do. That's why I asked because it depends on the update and the carrier it maybe a day or two later
