Hello guys need a little help
in Xolo q1010i, Micromax Yu Yureka, Xiaomi Redmi Note [Dual Sim] which has better camera ??
Xolo Q1010i has 8MP Rear with Sony Exmor R Sensor with 5-element lens
Micromax Yu Yureka has 13 MP Rear Sony IMX135 Exmor RS Sensor with 5-element lens
Xiaomi Redmi Note has 13 MP Rear Q13S01B Sunny N1404 CMOS BSI Sensor without 5-element lens & comes with wide 28mm angle.
I understand the 5P lens produces better and finer picture quality and I noticed Sony's Exmor R Sensor works better at low light than Sony Exmor RS Sensor [given the fact that Exmor RS is a newer sensor compared to Exmor R].
It seems like even Redmi Note has a good camera with wider angle but probably is not upto the mark under low light condition compared to Exmor Sensors ??
Which phone has a better camera for taking pics among these 3 models ?
camera experts help
don't know about Redmi and Yureka but Q1010i clicks nice pics at night...not impressive just nice..
no replies ? seems like it is difficult to decide util one uses all three models.
is there any specific website which would help with judging camera quality escpecially ?
try gsmarena they sometimes have pics clicked from the camera.
Go for q1010i
You will not disappointed for choosing this device...
It has Impressive camera...
The Zenfone 2 releases in my country tomorrow, and I'm almost set on it being my next phone. Before I found out about the ZF2, my choice was going to be the OnePlus One.
I love the specs of the Zenfone 2 (who doesn't), but one aspect of the phone that's been getting mixed reception so far is the camera. While ASUS pimped the camera as one of the phone's greatest assets at CES, a couple of reviews/comparisons I've seen online describe a more disappointing (though not 'bad') camera on the phone, particularly in comparison to some of its competition.
eg. two articles from Indian tech magazine Digit, both commenting about the disappointing camera (and battery life) on the Zenfone 2.

On the other hand, this GSMArena article has a better opinion of the camera.

What do the Zenfone 2 owners and users here think about the camera on their phones? Comparisons to the Zenfone 2's main competitors (OnePlus One and Xiaomi MI4) are welcome.
The latest update made a significant improvement in the image processing. much of the artifacting has been dramatically reduced.

what?
After reading the GSMArena review and the accompanying raw, untouched 1080p video samples they uploaded, I'm now quite worried about the quality of the video recording on the Zenfone 2. This is somewhat important to me, because I'm a musician and would want to record rehearsal and practice clips quite often, at a 'good' quality to upload online.
The GSMArena 1080p sample looked quite bad, IMO.
http://www.gsmarena.com/asus_zenfone_2_ze551ml-review-1240p8.php
"The output quality is nothing like you'd expect from a 1080p video and the level of detail is more or less comparable to 480p. The camera adjusts exposure at the slightest change of scenery and the resulting videos come out a bit choppy. Colors are good, but dynamic range is rather limited."
EDIT:
Just saw these two, in GSMArena's video comparison tool. This looks rather horrid, unfortunately.

Zenfone 2 camera quality
The Zenfone 2's 13-Megapixel camera zooming quality is not impressive, but the camera works best without zoom, its video recording is good. I will give its camera 4 stars out of 5 stars.
Post your photo(s) and video(s) samples here! Let us know the quality of the file, i.e. HDR enabled, 1080P, etc. Aside from the processor and battery, camera quality is very important to many consumers. So the best examples would be greatly appreciated!
To my knowledge, this phone uses a Samsung ISOCELL sensor with 1.34um pixels, at 13MP, but I haven't been able to find the specific part number. Anyone with this phone can help me find this? Thanks!
Try using AIDA64, which is the easiest way.
Though I also heard it was made by Samsung, there is a teardown here. You can clearly see O-FILM is printed on the flex cable. That's one of the noname brands inside Chinese phones, which do not have Sony or Samsung. Last time I encountered O-FILM was when I replaced an out-of-focus camera in Redmi 2.

In a review I've seen it was noted as Samsung s5k2m8
I check my ZUK Z2 with DevCheck, sensor size 5.19x3.67mm, Pixel sieze 1.18μm.
I guess that mean ZUK Z2 come with a different sensor to ZUK Z2 Pro
My Z2 Plus has a Samsung S5K2M8 rear and OmniVision's OV8865 front sensor.
S5K2M8 4208 x 3120
13MP 6.828mm
(1/2.6")
1.34 μm ISOCELL ZUK Z2 (Lenovo Z2 Plus)
I checked now with devcheck and i see 13 mpx camera with 1.18 qm pixel size which is different than advertised... Hmmm, chinese....
Ok i checked now with device info hw app
ov8865 front
s5k2m8sx back camera
So it is Samsung after all
