No one here will help you! We probably think it's a lost ou stolen phone... sorry!
Go a repair a Samsung repair center with the invoice of your phone and ask them if it's possible!
Good luck!

Always backup important data... there are only 2 types of computer users; those who have lost data and those who haven't lost data yet.

You've been given the possible ways of fixing your situation. Any further discussion would likely lead to more dubious solutions, so I'm closing the thread down.
Good luck.

[Q] [Help me] I lose my Note2's Imei

I forgot to backup my imei then i deleted somethings. And my phone can't use 3g, text or phone. Help me:crying:
My Imei is 004999010640000/01 right now.
How to take my old imei back. Thanks bro.
Give it back to service centre. No other way.
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda premium
Yes you need to go to a service centre, unless you backed up your EFS partition.
Bit of a gravedig but what was the outcome? Have you managed to fix it or did you send it back to Samsung?
If you still have it, unfixed, here's my advice
Unfortunately it isn't good news - a corrupt EFS is one of the hardest things to fix - without a backup it probably can't be done.
It's unlikely but restoring to stock via odin is the first port of call. Probably won't do anything but worth a shot.
Otherwise, The galaxy S3 had a very similar issue though and there was some success at injecting the imei back into the phone - ask around and see if the note 2 has anything similar (or perhaps even identical) process.

Restore advice sought re MOBO replacement

Hi Guys,
Some time ago my SGH-i927 turned off and refused to come back on, it was sent to a couple of repair specialists who confirmed it was dead; an ex SGH-i927; it was no more, it had shuffled off it's mortal coil......e.t.c.
....now I have splashed out on a 'for spares showing extreme wear' handset from a well know auction site, supposedly it switches on but because of a broken screen is otherwise unusable. My hope is to swap the innards of the spares into my old phone which has a decent screen in a desperate attempt to achieve a single working handset.
I have backups both NANDROID and EFS from my old phone before it passed away. I've searched on restoring the NANDROID and this would seem to be a workable proposition, however, I have found little on restoring EFS to a 'repaired' phone. There were hints that this might over write the IMEI of the donor with the IMEI of my old phone. The legalities of this would appear to be somewhat dubious. As I presumably own the rights to both IMEI's and there will still only be one phone with it, what are your thoughts ?
My old phone was network unlocked using an unlocking code based on it's IMEI - which of the 'Backups' contains this setting (I'm guessing EFS) ?,
If I just restore the NANDROID would the unlocked status be preserved or would I need the EFS too?
What other issues might I encounter if I try to restore the EFS ?
Your help with these questions would be gratefully received.

AS i know it would preserv. if not, you wil lbe able to use old unlock code with old imei.
Be sure to backup OLD and NEW efs.
Laws here perevent to mess with radio things, and that means you are forbidden to change your imei.
Manipulating the efs may brick your phone. I would start backup efs, and restore old one, and see what happens.
bubor thankyou for your response, may I ask for clarification

Would restoring my Old 'EFS' to the transplanted / replacement motherboard constitute 'messing with radio things' ?
I ask so as to avoid breaking the law ...UK LAW
Please PM me if you do not wish to publish an answer
Further research would indicate that the WiFi MAC address may also be stored in the EFS folder, if I overwrite the EFS of the donor MOBO with my backup file would the WiFi still work ?
Can anyone confirm if the WiFi component would still work with a transplanted EFS ?
All thoughts gratefully received.

XA2 Factory Reset, Data Recovery, Rooting

Howdy Everyone,
I'm a huge novice when it comes to playing around with android phones so please go easy on me. :cyclops:
Ok so had this phone about a month and it had a Google play error a few times. A quick reset and all was OK, until the last time where it ended up in a boot loop. :crying:
Numerous Web searches later I decided to use Xperia Companion to repair my phone. I had my phone back but my data was gone!
I'd hoped it would be relatively easy to get the data back or at least some of it, but no as it was then I realised that I would have to root my phone to even try.
Then I find out that if I unlock the bootloader that I would need to roll back to MM so that I could backup the TA Partion to save my DRM Keys.....
Ultimately I want to recover my photos (or at least attempt) and then return my phone to an unrooted state with my DRM keys back where they should be. :fingers-crossed:
So my question to the community is, can I use Xerpia Companion to make a backup of my phone at its factory state (pretty much as it is now), root the phone, attempt the recovery and the be able to return my phone to the state its currently in.. Including the TA partition?
Cheers in advance for any and all help.... :victory:

I don't have this device and there's a limited amount of threads regarding this topic but, the following thread is probably your best bet. Don't be afraid to ask for some member guidance within it too.

I don't know how but I lost my two IMEIs numbers, how to restore them please? Note10+

Hi all,
After I played with some custom roms and get back to the stock rom, I found my Note 10+ N975F without IMEIs number, is there anyway to write them again? I searched a lot on the internet but could't find any solutions.
Best Regards
I recall a mandatory step before flashing roms or tinkering with the OS, it was making an EFS backup, but, in these days I do not know if it is still the case

That's still the method used. Without the EFS backup you are left with a lemon of a device if things goes wrong. This will be a expensive lesson for the thread starter. The warranty will not cover this since the phone been rooted. If people only made some research before rooting their phone. Oh well.......
Thanks @winol and @ELMoro752 , I visited a local official Samsung partner and they told me I must change the Motherboard which cost about 350$, then I went to a repair shop, he told me maybe he can fix it from a Server (!?) for 70$ and he told me that the EFS file was deleted which contain the IMEI numbers.

Why there is no data about it but industry have solutions of it? imeiCertHack

my road started when my sm-a520f device got bricked. i just bought it and did not worry about it. i just download stock rom and before got EFS and special recoveries. installled every parts and finally got my device back from A to Z..
but
there was a problem with my cercullar data, i checked my imei number it was alive , checked sim card auth, but everything was normal. finally i had to go my old gsm worker friend. he just said there is CertAuth on some devices like old model of qualcom 'qcn' system. and even if you recover all of your device and personal data you get blocked by phone from gsm service, when you restore it same files as same files or other any ''changes''.
when you google about samsung imei cert bypass/patching there is not info/article how the system work, why and which algorithms used for it, where data stored or any classical questions. but there are tools like chimera,Z3box the solutions of them.
i reaaly wonder what is that and how it work, if you give me any info, articles, good things about it im gonna thankful to you guys.
footnote; if you have chimera license i really want to examine that guy.. please contact
