What non OOS rom gives best performance and battery life for 7T?
AOSiP
Resurrection remix is the best stable custom rom for our 7T here. Using it for quite a while now, no bugs nothing
And huuuuuuge customizations. Worth the time.

I am looking to upgrade my p607t from lollipop 5.1.1 to either {RR-N-v5.8.4-20170808-lt03lte-Unofficial} or {lineage-14.1-20170816-nightly-lt03lte-signed}.
I would like to get some opinions..... which one do you prefer? I like what i hear about the customization options from RR, but I am concerned about the unofficial version, and how easy/difficult it would be to update it as necessary. I was also wondering how the battery life and stability compare.
Thanks all
RR unofficial has the same few bugs as Lineage unofficial, as they are from the same dev, Lineage official is said to be in a hardly useable state.
I've been running Lineage os 14.1 for a while and I want to change rom and upgrade to oreo, so which is the best 8.x rom so far?

Depends on what your looking for. The best way to find out is try it for yourself. There is no "one size fits all" when it comes to roms. If you want simplicity and perhaps stability, stay on LOS. Personally LOS lacks certain customizations I really prefer not to give up. I ran crDroid on my Galaxy S4 and found it to my liking more then other roms. Personally I felt like it had the best kernel development of an Los based roms for that device. Since jumping back to an LG G3 I stuck with crDroid because I find the performance great, stability is great, and it has the feature set I like the most. Plus firebird was the maintainer of crDroid for my S4 variant) That said RR(Resurrection Remix) is amazing as well. For that matter all the major roms are great. You really can't go wrong.

Don't want any flashy customization or unnecessary settings. Can do with barebones.
I'm a use of Nova launcher and want a ROM that gives the highest performance and battery life.
Which should I choose? AOSP? Pixel experience? or the Stock MIUI?
If stock is the answer, is there one that doesn't bring back the anti rollback and is pre-rooted as I'd like keep experimenting and delete bloatwares.
On Havoc Official ROM at the moment.
pixel expierence/liquid/bootleggers unofficial/aosip
Havoc mod and rebirth kernel
Go with pixel experience
on OREO, RR6.2 is THE THE BEST! ( you can flash updated version of Derp kernel(s) and have the most out of it)
on PIE, Bootleggers is STABLE strong ! ,, .. I am Using Pie CRDROID and its good too
NONE of the Custom roms can Beat Stock MIUI10.0.0.6 having whole 9 yard of rich user experience! MIUI 10 users haptec habits amd adjusts device accordingly! waiting for PIE miui, which is out for PocoFone Already!

RR is better than other in performance? :0 Are u sure?
As with every other thread people will recommend what they are using. Spend a couple of days and test for yourself. The answer as usual will be that stock or stock based will be the least frustrating experience I guess.
I am using one plus 5T port lastest build and speed snappyness of the ROM I am just loving it and PUBG and other high graphics games just play awesome. With no heating issue .battery back up is also good .
1.Samsung Experience ROM 1.4.1(it's kernel frequency is overclocked)
2.MCAOSP Pie
3.AOSIP Oreo
4.Asus Max Pro M1 Ported Rom for Whyred(stock android)
5.Official MiUi

with the tried many Oreo Roms, I found RR6.2 quiet stable and good in performance
( tried: AeX, ACiP, Aosip, Liquid, DotOs, Crdroid, Xenon, Nitrogen(unreleased), PE, OmniRom, bootloggers,Havoc8.1)
Check my post from another thread :

Highest scores in all apps & overall smooth af experience
As the title sasy what is the currently best stable pie ROMs available for Xiaomi Mi A2 lite
For me it's the Resurrecion Remix treble rom, because it's very stable and has a lot of features. The notch is also fully supported and there aren't many bugs.
In the past the Pixel-Experience rom was my favourite, but since the RR rom is out, it's my favourite Pie rom.

1. There's one bug, the lowest brightness is not so dark as it is on stock rom. But you will have this bug on every treble rom.
And if you use pie instead of oreo vendor, you will have more bugs (fingerprint will not work etc). So it's better if you use oreo as base.
Furthermore you can't use the stock Xiaomi camera, but you can use one of the google-camera-ports, which are very good and make good photos.
2. I followed this guide: https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-a2-lite/how-to/resurrection-remix-pie-gsi-t3892195
3. In my opinion it's a very good and stable rom, also for heavy usage
Hi
I've been recently messing with my Dumpling... Tried a couple of ROMs ... Aex kreig , OOS pie beta , bliss ROM , Official RR... I don't find convincing...
AEX s good... RR which I loved in Oneplus 1 is ok for 5t...Official OOS is battery draining...Any suggestions for battery friendly smooth ROM!? (Without much bugs)
TIA

No custom ROM offers better battery life than oos. So if you getting bad battery life on oos then it would be much worse on custom ROMs. You can enable deep and sleep optimisation for better battery life if you have turned them off. If you are rooted install bbs and send screenshot of alarms and wakelocks. Post some screenshots maybe someone here could help you. You can try out derpfest but it won't offer better battery life than oos
use oos beta with weeb or render zenith kernel gud combination for battery and performance.
