Sometimes I will watch the Youtube App before and before when I would fall asleep the screen would go off after the current video would end. I do not use Autoplay. Is there a setting to re-enable the screen timeout after the video ends?

I think Tasker app can help you with it

I have the video out cable for my Dinc and It works very well, but I can't figure out a way to disable the main phone screen while I am using the TV out cable. I use it quite a bit on flights as I have some MyVu video glasses that let me watch movies on them. The issue is that the battery is being depleted very quickly due to havign the main screen on even though I am not watching it.
Is there an app or setting that will either let me toggle the main screen on or off, or let the screen sleep without stopping the video playback like when you hit the top sleep button?
I would say the screen has to stay on because if the screen goes to sleep it stops the video player app..... as for the battery you should be able to plug the charger into the side of cords adapter I know I can with mine

Everytime I'm watching a video in my browser, it'll sleep after 30 seconds which is what I have it set up to. But isn't the display suppose to stay on while watching a video. Does anyone know how to keep the screen on?

that will depend on the video player App you are using
some will keep it awake, some will not
i got the same problem on my Windows PC
there are many work around, like easily set the phone to stay awake, and you can still turn it off when you hit the power button
or pick up another Player App from market, that has the feature build in
Hi I have a rooted LG G3 tmo version.
Is there a way to disable the auto-dim function that my phone uses after 30 secs (or so) of being on full brightness?
Basically, I have a tasker profile set up to do various things when I plug my phone in at work. It turns off auto-dim, sets brightness to full, and sets the display timeout to never (max/max/max). However, the phone still auto-dims after 30 seconds or so. I've heard that this may be some kind of overheat protection, but does anyone know how to turn this off?
Thanks in advance.
Did you check display settings??

Hmm... that seemed to work. Do you know why the tasker Task : Display Timeout secs* mins* hours* did not change that setting?

That would be a good question to ask the developer of Tasker.
I'm trying to watch a very long video from https://www.creativelive.com/live2 using chrome. Sometimes the screen will blank after two minutes, sometimes it won't blank while the video is playing.
I'd like it not to blank so long as chrome is playing the video. Other than going to settings - display and increasing the sleep setting (which seems limited to 30 minutes), what can I do?
I'm not using a cover or bringing it near magnets. Stock 4.4.4, not rooted.

Root, flash Mahdi ROM and set screen timeout to never or tap on the screen every 29 min
Is it possible in the Settings to change the timeout before the screen dims when showing a clock face, like you can on a smartphone? All the videos show only a very few seconds before the screen dims if you are using the 'always on' setting. I realise that can consume more battery but if I am at home near my charger that may not matter to me.
TIA
A 3rd party app, like StayLit Wear: Longer Backlight from the Play Store is what you may be looking for.

If you use Watchmaker (and you should) it has a setting to extend the screen on time for Watchmaker faces.
