Hi,
This may sound really stupid but how the heck do you add your contact in text? I want to send a text but cant see where i can click to then pick the contact i want to send it to?

Hi,
Yeah i can see the "To" but if i click it or in the box it does nothing. Surely i dont have to start to type the name in and then click it?
Thats exatually what you do
select the box and start type the name of your contact
What else would you do ?

Every phone ive ever had including the galaxy s2 when you clicked in the to box it would bring uo your contact list letting you choose the contact.

You can also go to the contact list and choose to text
Go to Phone Icon > People tab, then click on the left box where their photo is.
Then on the right side of the phone number is an icon i can't describe, but that lets you text.

Yeah suppose it will just be getting use to it. Loving the Nexus up to yet , first day with it. Only thing ive noticed is that i cant add a facebook account in the accounts & sync and the facebook app doesnt have the option to sync the contacts

nah google and facebook have a fight going on about how to handle contacts so its disabled on nexus phones

dunno, its been going on for a while
but you can sync your gmail contacts with facebook profile pictures by using third party software just search here, there are lots of ways to do it

me personally not ok with it
as i'm not getting notifications of the new mails instantly but have to open the app to check that.
that is my main problem with huawei mail.
The one feature they sorely miss is the ability to mark new messages read in the notification panel.
I was checking my emails just the other day and realized how insecure this mail app is against phishing attacks. If you click on any link in the email, the link is immediately opened in the browser, so the user has to be security-conscious enough to check the address bar to see if the page is a fake. At the very least they should have a popup showing the full link that the user is about to visit.

I have a contact problem. When I send texts, I see my Google+ profile photo and I want to remove that completely with a generic photo. Any way to fix this?

Just remove the contact icon, referencing your name in your contact list. Should be the first one!

have you tried logging into google plus from the web and changing your picture there? I am just guessing...hate google plus myself and have severed as many ties with it and my phone as possible

I just logged out of Google+ and deactivated it. It solved the problem with my contact photo, but I cannot use G+ on my phone for now.
i had the iPhone for about 3 years helped me alot with twitter and receiving notifications about replies, mentions, messages and so on.....ever since the htc one stopped getting them....now im using a note three, and well, HOW do i get the push notifications on my phone? i miss that and i love my note three! any suggestions? I have Favorited a few people and i hate missing the notifications through them...
any help would be grateful!

To set up notifications for new Tweets from selected accounts:
Go to the account's profile on the app.
Tap the gear icon located next to the follow button.
From the pop up menu that appears, select Turn on notifications. You can only adjust notifications for accounts that you follow.

The actual Twitter program. Perhaps it was like that when I used have an IOS device? I could have sworn however it made that tweet noise on my Note 3 ..

Don't take my word as gold. I don't use twitter. But i know the Android version that comes with phones TweetCaster had the bird. I could be thinking of the wrong thing.

iOS has it for sure, I use that as my text tone on iOS. On topic, try what's already been suggested about the settings in the app OP. I haven't used Android in a while, so I can't be too sure if that's the only thing you need to change.

Used before GW with an Iphone,now using with S10+.. My main problem is,if i delete any e-mail massage on GW,messages deleting continuesly on phone.İ just want to delete only on watch,not on phone....How can i do that?

you mean you wan to clear the email notification but not the notification on the phone?
you could use notistar to check back notification history.
install good lock or nicelock first.

There is no solution as you do not understand what is happening. Let me explain:
1. when you used GW with IPhone or any other then Samsung android phone ( like me previously ) you got only notifications. Yo had no active mail app in the watch
2. when you connect Samsung phone to GW then watch mail app apperas . You can work with emails in 2 ways:
a) notifications - like with IPhone. You may dismiss, clear notification. Email messages are left intact
b) thru watch email app- and this is really simple mail app. when you delete something it is deleted from your mail account

Yes. There is a way. Enter Galaxy Wearable, Apps list, setting for e-mail app, disable email accounts. So you will only get notifications. You must set them properly in Notifications section. I think this should work but have not checked.

It is not possible, GW e-mail app is a simple extension to Samsung e-mail app on the phone. All important settings ( POP3, IMAP etc. ) are done on the phone app only.

ahh isee. no choice then. configure email accounts in samsung email on the phone as pop3. this way, if you delete on the watch, it is not deleted on the actual mailbox.
