Not here, I couldn't flash it... I guess I have to wait till unlock countdown to finish (about 11 days left)

I believe since you're on the beta version it's only checking for beta update..

Updated yesterday and I noticed less battery drain at night.
Also "hide notch" option has disappeared.
Rooted with magisk and everything works fine.

There's a new option in battery setting: adaptive battery

I distorted the audio and noticed a greater consumption of the battery...

Simply download the zip package in op and install via updater app in settings/about
Fastboot rom link added.
You can use mi flash as well now. (Recommended for those who are coming from miui 9)

I did that but it says that no update is available, I don't have unlocked bootloader... Do I have to put the .zip in a specific folder or something ?

no. it can stay in download folder. on your update section, choose install package , and select zip file and process starts. very simple. follow this

Go to the updater and tap 10 times on miui 10 picture in the middle. You'll get choose package option in the three dot menu on top right corner.

so does this update work or was it pulled for some reason? I have the downloaded file from the original post but not sure if it's bad to use or not.

Yes. You'll have to have an unlocked bootloader and use fastboot to flash the img to your active boot slot.

Fingers crossed. Really don't want to have to wipe my phone again... Ran into some issues with the other thread that was posted here, notably this:
Tapped "Hide Magisk" in Magisk settings
nothing happened so I tapped it again, nothing, queue rage taps because despite working in IT I'm still an idiot.
then closed out and went back in and magisk acted like it wasn't installed
Reboot and black screen after seeing the wallpaper for just a second.
Had to use the stock 10.0.3 ROM posted here to get back to working. Hopefully I'll be able to restore to that... if not I guess I can use my pixel 2 til a 10.0.4 version comes along...

All boot images are Magisk patched only. It's just the file naming

I had to patch my own boot image using payload dumper. I'm more interested which file in /dev/block is needed for a system dump

Would it be possible to get a process to do this? I would be a lot happier doing this myself where I can examine what is being done rather than having to install patched boot images...

i need it too, there´s no wifi/radio on patched image 10.0.4 or 10.0.5 or 10.0.6 versions
i took the ota update from 5 to 6 but 10.0.6 pacthed image in here isen´t global

You don't actually need it. Boot (not flash) from this and then do "Direct Install" of Magisk. It will patch your boot image.

You need an already patched boot image to boot but doesn't matter which country as long as you have downloaded the magisk otherwise yes you need the correct one which will enable the wifi. I had exactly the same questions before like you.

I am on HD65AA 10.0.6. No matter if I boot or flash the given file in OP, my phone remains unrooted. I don't get the option for direct install as well just as spoonymoon mentioned above.

Any joy getting the stock or patched boot image for the European 10.0.6

i tired to connect my xiaomi Pad 5 and it said without unblock BL can not install another version of Rom.... just install global rom, but Global Rom have BUG for Unblock....

I'm on EEA Stable Beta V12.5.5.0.RKXEUXM and want to root with Magisk. The device in unlocked. Is it possible to take the Boot Image from Global Stable V12.5.4.0.RKXMIXM? There is no fastboot version of the eea rom.

that did not work, just hangs in fastboot until I restart it myself

I'm not sure? I upgraded from a11 to a12 c.16, then the c.20 update popped up afterwards. It shows the android security patch is from september 5th

I prefer to stay with A11, that way I can have any custom bootanimation and systemwide fonts....

C21 is out when we get A13?
