10.0.3 Update is rolling out

Just received 10.0.3 Update, updating now.
Will grab boot.img from Ota and will root soon.

Can you share the filename from .Ota hidden folder so that official link can be obtained?
Also can you share a screenshot of your About phone please? I believe that there will be regional specific builds like there are for OP 7 and OP 7 Pro.

Yes, I will upload patched boot.img here.
But you need same update to use it.

You can start the download once the update is available, then goto the .ota folder and pick the filename, which is:
"OnePlus7TOxygen_14.I.05_OTA_005_all_1909252229_1be2cbaa2.zip"
Then construct the OTA URL yourself, looking at previous URLs.

Thanks a ton, will update and patch right now. Have rooted from day one one all devices so far. Using the 7T without root is a major PITA. Thanks again.:good:

Tried, giving Qualcomm crash dump error at boot.
Beta build stuck at unlocked bootloader warning.

Have any of you noticed a real difference in picture quality after this update?

I have also updated to 10.0.3. Please post the root procedure as i too need to root the device.
Another Dev has uploaded TWRP but it's untested

SInce root is not available yet I am using adguard dns which blocks all ads pretty well.
Wifi&internet/Private DNS/ Private DNS provider hostname.
Enter dns.adguard.com and save.
No more ads.

I noticed 10.0.6 is draining less battery on standby as mentioned in changelog.

i need it too, there´s no wifi/radio on patched image 10.0.4 or 10.0.5 or 10.0.6 versions
i took the ota update from 5 to 6 but 10.0.6 pacthed image in here isen´t global

You don't actually need it. Boot (not flash) from this and then do "Direct Install" of Magisk. It will patch your boot image.

You need an already patched boot image to boot but doesn't matter which country as long as you have downloaded the magisk otherwise yes you need the correct one which will enable the wifi. I had exactly the same questions before like you.

I am on HD65AA 10.0.6. No matter if I boot or flash the given file in OP, my phone remains unrooted. I don't get the option for direct install as well just as spoonymoon mentioned above.

Any joy getting the stock or patched boot image for the European 10.0.6

Q1:How to canel dm-verity error(booting)?
fastboot --disable-verity --disable-verification flash vbmeta vbmeta.img =>not working.
Q2:Magisk shows cts profile error,how to fix it ?
I use Magisk-Hide Props Config,not working.
Q3:I flash GPay-fix v1.9,still not working,because CTS profile failed?

My RN8P is global version in Taiwan.
1.U just must unlock phone.
2.I flashed TWRP by wzsx150
3.format /data with TWRP,flash GSI-ROM
4.disable dm-verity,encryption,avb 2.0 etc.,
TWRP has functions to do it.
magisk ?,up to you
5.reboot to system,good luck!
if stuck in logo,try to flash permissiver.zip,maybe fine.
if bootloop to TWRP,try to format /data,maybe fine.

I knew GSI works on this phone since a long time back, but i don't understand the drawbacks of that versus a ROM that might be specifically compiled for this phone... The mentioned known issues are literally things i never use.

Really nice to to see the first custom rom working for our device. Can you please send some screenshots,does the sim work,camera,video,does it pop up errors,is it easy to restore a backup of stock miui?

some GSIs,My phone had no signal,mobile radio power is off,can't turn it on.

I never flashed a GSI img before , and I fear brick again my device, if possible to we had a flash tutorial in video.

Sorry for hogging his question, but I flashed it the same way I flashed the ob2 boot image that was given in a different thread and still can't obtain root via magisk 8.0.2...

Reboot, tried installing via magisk manager and installation failed.

Question Where can I find the OTA file for le2127

There is no .ota folder. I need the boot img from it to root my phone as there's no t-mobile firmware anywhere

that did not work, just hangs in fastboot until I restart it myself

I'm not sure? I upgraded from a11 to a12 c.16, then the c.20 update popped up afterwards. It shows the android security patch is from september 5th

I prefer to stay with A11, that way I can have any custom bootanimation and systemwide fonts....
