Hello, I am using the 16GB and 2GB version of the Xiaomi Mi Max. When I charge the phone, the battery indicator and percentage will be stuck for hours before incrementing normally. The problem persists even if I turn off the phone while charging (battery percentage is stuck from where I started charging for more than an hour). Has anyone experienced this issue. Charging time is still 3 to 4 hours using the stock charger but this issue is driving me nuts because if I want to charge the phone for an hour or less, the capacity hasn't increased yet.
I have only used this phone using the MIUI 8 because it updated immediately when I used it so i don't have an idea if this was an issue when it was on MIUI 7.
Hello,
I've just updated my Mi a2 Lite with A10 Yesterday, and quick charge does not work anymore. It takes at least 2.5 hours to go from 10-12% to 50% battery, and another 3 hours to get fully charged.
Any ideas to solve this ?
Thanks,
Regards

I have the same problem, it heats a lot and I need to wait 4 - 5 hours to recharge 100%
No such problem
Same here, charging is very slow.
Me too
Same problem.
Same problem here
Same problem ?
This phone had never even had the "true" quick charge, but it usually charges 0-100% in 2h10m.
Nevertheless, 3 or more hours, let alone 5 or 10 sounds horrible wtf To be honest, a couple of those tiny Android 10 features are not worth ALL THE NUMEROUS BUGS.
Charging full in 10 hours

sir please help me i have charging issue after updating Android 10 in my Mi A2 Lite my phone chargers full within 10 hours before it was just 2 hour 20 mints . please Help me . send me special charging issue update to fix this erroe .
OCCASIONALLY this bug presents itself to me. It means that it does not happen 100% of times, but when it does I restart the phone and after quick charge works.
I must correct my previous statement, I am noticing now that charging takes 4+ hours!!! Right after the update, I think it charged like before, 2+ hours to full, but now, always 4 or 5 hours to full.. It is infuriating! The phone does not have QC, it is just 10W charging, but on Pie it charged quicker then now, so there is a f*ck up from xiaomi again.
i am new here and need a help. recently i flashed pixel experience rom in my device and and also i tried other few roms in 2 days. now i am facing a battery issue. so i came back my stock rom . now my charging screen is showing there is 41 hrs 53 min left to complete the charging but my battery is 100% full. and my phn will die if i remove it from the charger or powerbank. so what should i do.
I just recently got a new Redmi note 11 and also received a 33 Watt fast charger with it. I already had two other phones Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 7, I started charging all 3 phones with the same 33 watt fast charger that I received with redmi note 11 but after 3-4 months I noticed both Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 7 started showing the same issue that they were rebooting automatically whenever I increased their volume beyond 70% while they were on battery but functioned normally while plugged to a charger.
Then after that just two days ago the Redmi Note 8 started getting a cycle of rebooting and turning off back and forth irrespective of the volume increase. I had to stop this cycle by plugging it into the charger and then starting it or switching it off, it used to at least charge while plugged in but now it has stopped even charging fully.
Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 7 both seemed to support a maximum of 18 Watt fast charging but I read somewhere that the 33 Watt charger will automatically adjust as per the device requirement but now I am thinking that the 33 Watt charger has danaged the batteries or something else like the curcuits in my older Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 7 phones? I am really depressed because I have a lot of personal memories attached to these phones but now I fear losing them. Please help !!
Do you think this was the reason? Please let me know so I can avoid this mistake in future?
the batteries are damaged, that why the phones bootlooping, jsut buy a new ones and replace them and done
Hi hi :>>
after 4 years and still counting of using my Redmi Note 8 I finally decided to change it's battery but i've encounter this problem that my phone now doesn't charge my Redmi Note 8 to fully 100% and it sometimes goes off around 20% or so like it's drain but if I connect a charger for literally few seconds and open my phone it opens up and continue the 20% or so battery charges where it shuts down.
note... once it goes off and still has some percentage left it won't boot up like it's really drain but if a connect a charger for a second and then opens it, it will boot up and continue the battery percentage where it lefts off.
any solution to this? or how to i calibrate my newly installed battery on my phone?

reboot to recovery and go to data/system and delete
battery-history/battery-saver folders and batterystats.bin
if problem persist that's a bad battery
