Second source for Body Glove case

Like most stores, my at&t store was sold out of the body glove case people have been raving about lately, so i ended up having to go with a $40 nasty leather belt clip (though that was so they'd agree to give me the phone for $90...)
Anyway, while searching around online I finally found one at daydeal . com (search for 'body glove captivate', can't post links yet sorry). Just ordered it today (8/21), so I'll post an update when it gets here confirming it's the same case as the one sold at the store. $6 cheaper too for the moment.
EDIT: just arrived. It's the exact same case, even to the point of coming in the same box.

I ordered this and a car charger this morning. Thanks for the link. I hope it shows up soon. I probably overpaid for the car charger ($14) but its supposed to be a real AT&T packaged one, not a knock off.

Now contemplating a screen protector. The screen is so beautiful. DO I want to muck it up with a screen protector, or scratch it because I don't have one

I found mine at Best Buy for $24.95 wish I had known about these other places sooner! It looks just like the pictures a few posts up.. Makes the phone look nice on the back

for 3 bucks I guess you can't go wrong. I'm in for two of them

Zenus 'Prestige' Carbon Series Stand / Case

Well, I just got this case today. It comes in black or white. I got the black one. I'd post pictures but my grandkids are here and I won't be able to do it until tomorrow.
My mini-review:
Pros:
Fit and Finish is beautiful.
Very light. Case and Tablet weighs 1lb 12.6ozs
Very thin.
(Added) The edges of the screen are not covered. Like the Samsung case there are 3 clips to hold the TAB. I don't like the way most ofthe other cases cover the border of the screen with "PU" or leather.
Cons:
TOO EXPENSIVE. It may be "worth" $85 + shipping for it's quality but for what it is it's just too much money
TOO EXPENSIVE
"Stand" is only a single position and the way it works is you have to unsnap the bottom half of the tablet from it's perfectly fitting snap on cover and rest it on the "latch" that holds locks the case closed. I have to believe that eventually the snaps will lose their tension and not tightly hold the Tablet. May be wrong there but it seems to be.
Must be opened to access USB connection.
TOO EXPENSIVE
I have six months to return it so I'm not worried.

I looked at that case but since it was seemingly 2x as thick and made from "synthetic leather" (either plastic or "PU" not sure which) I chose the other. I probably would prefer the Samsung over that one since the Samsung is very thin and lite. Also don't like the "hand strap" since it reminds me of a ping-pong paddle.
However if the quality is just as good it would be a good alternate choice for those who don't mind the thicker vinyl case.

Cut the price in half and I'll buy.

I sent it back for a refund. Too expensive and required "unsnapping" the bottom 2 clips holding the TAB to "stand" it.
Well made and excellent fit and VERY light .... but not worth it to me.

Aw, that's kinda upsetting. It sure looked like a nice case, and for some reason I'm a sucker for carbon fiber styling, but it's sad to hear about those downsides.
If nothing else, thanks for being a guinea pig on that! It was hard enough to justify that kind of money on a simple case even if it was perfect. The USB slot issue is the killer, really.

How did you go about sending it back for a refund. I'm about to do the same with mine. My initial impressions were that it was a good case but after having it a couple days I'm ready to return it and get something cheaper that is probably a better quality.

I purchased through Amazon. I went into my Amazon account and sent the "seller" a message, They have a 14 day return policy. You can also contact them through their website but if you purchased from Amazon you should email through there as Amazon keeps records of the contacts and you are protected.

i was thinking about getting this case but real expensive ... waiting on your pics ...

Then you will be waiting for a long time because as I stated in the previous message I sent it back.
BTW, it was NOT carbon fiber, it's a vinyl fabric.

These Zenus cases look pretty slick, but also very pricey. What other cases do you all recommend?

Same here, I have not found any cases I would think are worth buying compared to the official one.

I recomend this fullbody protector

this full body protector for samsung epic touc 4g is great same quality as zagg shield so why pay all that $$$ when you can get it cheaper

I had a similar one on my Asus Transformer. The back on that is far more textured than the E4GT and it stuck just fine.
I'll post pics once I get it installed. Maybe a video of me trying to install it just for lulz.

I put it on, and took it off. Hated it. Im going to stop dealing with these cheap skins and screen protectors. Going to just spend the money to get the legit one from Steinheil. I have went through like $10 in these cheap protectors.
I put this entire one on on Saturday night....took it off Sunday during Sunday Night Football.
Im picking up one of these and a tpu case and calling it a day.

Which one did you get? I kind of like the Crystal Clear one but also am tempted by the one that resists finger prints.

Got the crystal. I read on the other thread that you barely get fingerprints and all that. Plus I want to keep that sexy clarity

got mine, and installed it, and, actually, its a lot nicer than I thought..
I also got that combo holster/black case from the sprint store, and, the phone fits with the complete cover into the case; so, the phone is completely covered with that clear protective material, and, the case is providing additional protection..
I figure between the 2 things, I should be pretty well protected until Ballistic releases their case for this thing soon..

In for one. Looking for basic cheap skin for the moment.

I got mine on ebay for $3.75. I would recomend anyone looking a cheap skin. I have it over all the phone and as long you follow the instructions and let it dry they are great. Was gonna go for a ghost armor but i for the price i might as well try this one.

I dought it, there is only one skin I have seen to claim that. I use the skin along with the matte tpu case and love it

This case is the best I have used for my N4. I have the Rearth slim case and a Ebay tpu as well. I pre-ordered this today!

Just got my confirmation that it shipped. Estimated delivery Nov 5th- 7th. November 1st looks to be more and more when the nexus 5 will be available for purchase.

Ditto. Mine also shipped today. Not sure when delivery will be though. I'm in Canada so I imagine I'll be waiting at least a week, maybe two.

Diztronic cases are great except they pinch the screen protector so it bubbles up on the side once in a while. I would still order another Diztronic case but my screen protectors would need to be trimmed down to prevent future bubbles on the side. Overall, economical price for a top notch product. :good:

Got my case in the mail today! Looks good, now I just need to wait for the phone to get here lol. I love my N4 diz case, it's been my favorite! highly recommend

Just don't feel bad about it, $9 still is a good price. Buying even cheaper would be a bargain, but you could have overpaid buying it for $25 as well. That 9 bucks is money well spent. Enjoy your new case

I'd say that they are almost too easy to press. Sometimes I want to press the power button but I end up pressing the volume buttons accidentally. I guess I've yet to get used to it properly, I only received the phone and case yesterday

their shipping price is horrible.
the shipping to my country is even more than the price of the case even.

There's actually two sticky protection films protecting the clear back during manufacturing and packaging that scratches easily... you're suppose to remove them.
There's one inside and one outside.

Lol, there's a note shipped with the case thats hard to miss. Did you read it? It states that there are 2 plastic protectors on the front and back of the plastic. The one on the inside is a bit harder to remove but ones you remove it it's perfect. Even on the Amazon reviews they mention to remove the plastic on the inside.
Like seriously it's very hard to miss. This is one of my spare ones straight out of the package.
