How to install?
- Format data using TWRP (if you have encrypted storage)
- Install LineageOS 16.0 and wait till it booted
- Backup Lineage 16.0 boot image using twrp
- Install halium-boot.img
- Install UbuntuTouch GSI
Notes:
You can restore LineageOS 16.0 boot image to boot it and flash halium-boot to boot UbuntuTouch.
Remember to unplug usb when installing.
Default password is "phablet".

Installed it, works and looks great, but i'm not able to power off screen because power, volume down, home, back and menu buttons don't work. It's strange for me, but volume up button works. Also if i set timer to off screen as 30 seconds or any other option it doesn't power off screen

after fresh install, looks fast and usable ! and great os,
I try to update, like apt-get update etc.
but many things not working or ı cant fixed so finally not usable for daily use ı see.
Like;
bluetooth not working,
Wifi is okey
sms is okey, call working except but no sound in the ear only works with speaker so everyone hear my call
ı could not import any contact, google account or local file like .vcf file?
ı couldnot mount any sdcard to access some of file for use.
sounds working music video etc. many apps works on ubuntu appstore..
Screen is always open? is this normal.
It needs some updates ı think,
finally good work ! but still not daily use.

Follow the installation guide, but stuck on mi logo,

Hello all, I saw one thing for Android app like whatsup; ı could not install whatsup on Ubuntu touch but is any one tested for following procedure for apps?
If you want "anbox" (android app support) run the following commands on terminal: "wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ha...aster/anbox.sh" "chmod +x anbox.sh" "./anbox.sh".

What works?
Everything in the above build, but it might differ in Generic System Image for example: VoLTE might be broken and pushing ims.apk in the system might fix it but not necessarily. Default Camera app can be unstable using third party camera can be a good option.

Well I didn't get a response to this so I decided to try it for myself. Turns out that the official Android Q Beta 5 GSI provided by Google (on the Android website) boots fine on Z2 Plus. However, during the setup process at the point where it asks 'Choose screen lock', the page is empty (just white space) and thus it is not possible to continue from here.
So instead I will try reverting back to stock TWRP and flashing the A-only build of Android Q Beta 5 by Erfanoabdi.

Thank you for your continued support for this device, really appreciate it. So finally Oreo ROMs now have VoLTE right? I'm gonna try it soon. Hope to see the same state on Pie as well.

First of all, Thanks Sakil for this beautiful Rom.
An Oreo 8.1 with VoLTE was just a dream till using this Rom.
Smooth UI, decent battery life, Overall its nice ?
Some bugs that I found are:
1. EDL bug (not an issue at all)
2. Double tap to wake (Found an option to wake device with volume key)
3. Bluetooth bug: Can't play via Bluetooth speaker. No connecting issues, but nothing hears after that
4. Manual mode missing on Pixelmaster camera.
Once again thanks Sakil for continuing support for this device. Waiting for more updates and happy about VoLTE is not in the Bug list.

Same feedback as above. I don't really know about what EDL bug is but I found out that we can't shutdown the phone as shutdown timer crashes as soon as shutdown is tapped. The phone then just power cycles and turns on again.

You should re-partition your system partition, Follow the instructions HERE
and you can try my LOS 17.1 with the method above.

Its not big problem but Network traffic monitor isnt working in Lineage 16.0 ,LineageOS 17.1 and LineageOS 18.0 .it stuck always zero when connect to internet.can you fix it.

It's a great ROM, for aging phone. It's smooth, but a bit lagging than nougat.
DT2W is working, but sometimes you just need a few second to turn on after it turn off. Sometimes a bit too sensitive, like it turn on when you put out from pocket.
Wallpaper is not working at home screen, it's still work though at lock screen.
Another one is notification, it went black screen for a minute (reset?), when you tap on notification, or clear it. The notification is from chrome, Aptoide, 3rd party screenshot, etc. Notification from system is normal.

No google play store is not certified

But selinux is enforcing
All the apps I need do work

no i have very little knowledge of maintaining a rom
