SM-R805U Stuck at Tizen 4.0.0.0 and software version ARH1 - Samsung Galaxy Watch

OK. I just got my first smart watch. I have been rooting and flashing android ROMs for years, but I feel like a complete newb here when it comes to the Galaxy Watch. So here's the deal. If this has been covered before, please point me to the thread. I searched and couldn't find what I needed.
I got a used SM-R805U and it appears to be stuck at Tizen 4.0.0.0 and software version ARH1 (R805USQU1ARH1). I check for new sftware version in the Samsung Wearable app, and it keeps telling me software is up to date. However, my son just bought a new one, and his is on Tizen 4.0.0.7. So I know I'm not getting the latest updates... I did find the thread that had me use SDB to set CSC to XAR, and then reset watch, which should have allowed it to update to latest. Nope. Not for me. SDB CSC updated to XAR and reset fine, but it goes back to saying I have latest software version.
Help!
TIA

Did a little more reading Here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/smartwatch/galaxy-watch/firmware-r805u-t3936826
Downloaded NetOdin 3.1, and latest ROM. Rebooted phone into wireless download mode. But none of my PCs see any broadcasting R805U*** wifi networks, so I can't connect via NetOdin to load the latest FW.
Any tips? Concept is simple. Just not getting it to cooperate with me.
I even deleted/forgot my home wifi, turned off wifi, turned on wifi, searched for networks. Nada - Nothing, Zilch... No R805U*** networks showing up - or any other open networks for that matter.

Same problem. When booting into wifi had to click the power button again after selecting wifi download. Then read that pushing the upper select button twice changes it into AP mode.
Galaxy Watch wifi network shows up and connects with computer, but Odin won't update any of the files still. Not sure what's up.

[Q] GT-N5110 Wifi not working after OTA upgrade to Kitkat 4.4.2

I have upgraded from Jelly Beans to Kitkat 4.4.2 via regular OTA upgrade provided by Samsung on my Samsung Note 8" GT-N5110. Since then I am unable to use Wifi on it. My device is NOT rooted and is running on original Samsung software upgraded via OTA.
I have tried to clear cache and then factory re-set as well and still can't get the WIFI button to sometime even select available WIFI networks. So issues I am facing are summarized below"
1. After factory re-set and clearing cache via Power+Vol Up option, when I tried to setup from scratch, WIFI would not turn on at all meaning device would not be able to scan for available WIFI network or would do so but after long time and if it does show available Networks and I select my home network with required security (WPA2) and password, it would show status as " Saved" rather than connecting to this network. The device would not connect to selected network even after multiple tries.
2. When trying to turn wifi on, device would not show "WIFI" button to Green but instead would stuck at "Grey" color for ever unless rebooted and re-tried many times. The grey would turn green when selecting advanced option or tabbing thro' back button but would not scan available networks then. If it would scan thro' Networks, it would just save selected network even with correct security option and password for it.
WIFI not turning on has made this device a piece of junk for any meaningful use. Any suggestions/ help would be highly appreciated. Again please note, my device is UNROOTED and running on original firmware provided by Samsung via OTA upgrade.
Hi XDA Gurus,

If you don't mind... try odin 3.09, flash philz recovery, factory reset for wipe clean for fresh install option, and boot to downloader. Flash a firmware from sam mobile, or the get a usa version in the development section.
That should flash a clean install after a wipe

Lost 5g wifi totally

I've been looking for a answer but have come up blank.
I've updated to 5.1 recently, at that time I lost my 5g wifi. Don't know if it might be kernel based, or based on the unit itself. I've factory reset, Odin loaded the operating systems.
At a loss for what it is.

You need to change your 5g channel. 5G is working fine with 5.1.1. It's your router that you need to play with. Let start reboot your router and see....
No router is fine I have 5 other devices and they are getting 5g just fine, it's just this device that is not getting 5g. That's why I am stumped.
Are you located in North America and put on the Spanish version of the image or did you upgrade through Kies3 or OTA? There is some truth to the the router fact of you installed the Spanish version, otherwise take a look at the 5G channel table https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_WLAN_channels
Yeah I did use the Spanish version but I then did the xar version when it came out, via Odin I'm guessing that I need to flash the radio for USA channels to work some one Wang to point me in the right direction.
Set 5G to channel 48 or lower

I had the same problem. Was ready to buy new router. Don't know why, tablet sees 5G only if router set to channel 48 or low. If router is set to higher channel on 5G, tablet does not see it.
Got it working right finally, went and reloaded the xar software but it screwed up cause of the usb cable coming out redid it and now it good. What happened I don't know, scrambled the other brains and put in new.

A71 not connecting/detecting 5ghz on WiFi (only 2.4ghz)

Phone model: Samsung Galaxy A71 SM-A715F/DS
Recently updated to One UI 3.1, Android 11, Google play update March 1 2021
Country: Philippines
As the title says, my phone out of nowhere couldn't detect any 5ghz on wifi. I don't know how long this has been because I don't check what wifi I'm connected to. As long as I was connected, I wasn't worried. But today I discovered it's been connecting to the 2.4 band of my wifi.
We have lots of other devices in the house and all of them detect the 5ghz band. all of them have no connection issues with that. only this phone. I'm not sure if this has something to do with the recent update, but I have a feeling it's because of that.
Things I've already tried:
Restarting the router.
Restarting my phone several times.
Restarting my phone in safe mode. still nada.
Wiping cache partition in recovery mode.
resetting network settings (using the reset option in settings)
disabling vpns/adguards etc.
enabling option in hotspot to prefer 5g bands.
All of them and still nothing. The only thing I haven't tried is doing hard reset or factory reset because I got lots of important stuff and settings already in my phone. I hope it won't get to that point.
Please help, seriously. Thanks very much!

Try to reflash the stock firmware again... Without doing a factory reset.
Hopefully this can help.

Samsung S9 Live demo security check fail modem issue

Well I beat the retail demo software, but didnt like even after a official update on the phone itself it kept me at android 8.0 os
so i went ahead and wanted to install android 10 rom off sammobile. It went through without a hitch in odin..but then got the dreaded "security check fail modem" in red text and this phone has been locked and unauthorized software has been installed on this phone with the blue screen background.
Any ideas on what rom I could use to install on this to beat this modem check issue? I tried 3 different roms and all the same message, they all load via Odin fine and PASS green box, then reboots and same message.
Supposedely I found a original stock rom for the demo model but its some 1 file-combination file. Still searching to see what else I can find.
Let me know if theres a workaround for the red text modem issue.
EDIT: just to make clear, i only want to use wifi on this device for apps, I realize it cannot be used to make calls or being used on cellular network, thats fine with me.

Question Help me Mr. Wizard....

Well, the wifi on my S21 FE 5G has totally stopped working..... no clue why. When I try to turn it on, the switch icon stays a dim blue for a few minutes and then goes off again. Just will not connect. I tried a network reset, and even a full factory reset. No luck at all.
What's up????
The phone was updated to the new UI 5.1 and all the other pushed updates....
get stock rom or linageOS then flash it. BE CAREFULL NOT TO MESS IT UP DOUBLE CHECK EVERYTHING! also have you pocked with the wlan configs? if its after update, the downgrade might not be possible. if it is an option for u reflash the phone with linage. if any help need on that reply here i will help.
check the build and kerenel first in fastboot mod. to pick out the correct rom.
KirinPixel. thank you for the reply.
my phone is a 'Galaxy S21 FE 5G' unlocked, on T-Mobile.
SM-G990U1/DS Model Code: SM-G990UZAETMB
Baseband version: G990U1UES5EWC2
when I look at Settings/About Phone/Status Information, I see the following:
phone wi-fi MAC address is 'unavailable'
same with Bluetooth Address
same with Ethernet MAC Address
I would prefer to stay with a stock ROM. I think I can get it from SamMobile website.
Not sure what you mean by 'pocked with the wlan configs.' Explain please.
Also, what is 'fastboot mod.' ???
thanks.
By poked with wlan config i meant trying turn monitor mode on or chainging power or sensitiveity. In Fastboot mode phone is avalibele to download software into it and provides a lil more info on device. Try just flashing stock or linageOS. If that dooes not fix it its likely a hardware problem.
Thank you again.
I will probably try flashing the previous rom update.
I went to my local T-mobile and there was another customer there with the same problem.....
Also searching internet for same problem. Found a few.
