PX5 Android 10 Wifi Fast-Transitioning connection issue - MTCD Android Head Units General

Hi everyone,
I updated my PX5 unit to Android 10 and since then it's impossible to get it to connect to my WiFi. I used Wireshark to find out what's going on and noticed that the device tries to use Fast-Transitioning instead of 802.1x for the association attempt, which will obviously never work. How can I properly report that bug so that it can be adressed? I guess updating wpa_supplicant should be enough..... Or can I do that myself somehow?
Thanks for your help

[SOLUTION] Fix for 4.3: unable to power on WiFi and/or Bluetooth

I update my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 to Android 4.3. Sometimes the WiFi goes off without reason and it was not possible to switch on WiFi or Bluetooth. I found that this was caused by two of my Bluetooth devices. I had to go outside out of range of Bluetooth devices and then switch Bluetooth on and then delete pairing I had in the phone (since previous Android 4.1.2 version). Hope it helps somebody as I'm not alone as I saw when digging through Internet forums.
BTW: WiFi & Bluetooth share the same chip, so it seems like a bug in Bluetooth kernel driver or library that manage Bluetooth connections. THERE IS NO NEED TO FLASH ANYTHING!

Bluetooth and HotSpot problem after Phone update to Android 8.1

I have an MTCD PX5 unit using SVA ROM Android 6 and I have been using it with my Phone for calling over Bluetooth. I am also using WiFi HotSpot on the phone to share the Internet Connection.
After the phone has been updated to 8.1 (it's a Nokia 6) Bluetooth only works well (not perfectly) if the HotSpot function is disabled. When enabled, the bluetooth connection is lost after I make the first call (which fails actually, the sound moves back and forth between the unit and the phone).
Does anyone else use a phone updated to 8.1?
Thanks.

Wifi (randomly turning off) and SD card issues (randomly unmounting) PX5 MTCE unit

*** Edit ***
So I realized that not only SD and WiFi are affected but also USB ports as well. Meaning that DAB+ Radio also restarts from time to time...
Maybe a hardware issue?

Hi there,
just bought a MTCE PX5 unit with Android 8.0 (4 GB Ram, 32 GB Rom).
MCU version is 2.94_1 MX2
I have two severe issues I can't get rid off:
1.) Wifi is turning itself off randomly every some minutes. I have to reactive manually which is working. But very annoying when navigating or listening to web radio.
I already tried wipe data, installed different Oreo roms, changed location accuracy to "device only" - didn't help.
2.) My SD card (I tried 3 different with different sizes and classes) are getting unmounted every some minutes and remounted immediately.
Also I didn't find a fix for this yet.
Any Idea what I could try to fix both issues?
Best regards,
thanks a lot!
Christian
Got the same problem here with the wifi at first. But now I can't turn it on and it's Mac address shows 02:00:00:00:00:00

I have exactly the same problem with wifi. I tried to install hal9k oreo rom, but still not working. My mcu version is MTCE_GS_V2.90c_3. I'm using a huawei e8372 modem, when I connect this to usb the network range icon show up, but there 8s no internet... So I use wifi but still turning off and i must to reactive this again

Maybe you can try this internal USB-Hub-Sleep-Fix with a bit more: to all USB-Devices.

Dasaita PX6 4+64G Iphone connects but head unit says not connected

There was a known issue with iphone to android unit hot spot connections. But, Apple said that is fixed.
I power up the unit and most of the time the iphone will show that there is a a connection to my iphone's hotspot. So, the iphone shows that the Dasaita head unit is connected. BUT, the head unit says that it is NOT connected to any SSID. I go to youtube and banner at the bottom says "no connection" but, I am able to browse youtube. I checked other apps and some work and some do not.
The iphone hotspot does not show up in the list of wireless networks. I turn the hotspot off and on several times over the course a min or two. Then the SSID shows up and I connect. Then go back to the apps and sometimes the connection drops and I have to start over.
I installed a better antenna and it is right next to the iphone. The connection show excellent when it is connected. But, the above problem remains.
I have search posts for weeks on this one. No luck. Is there a fix?
I updated to MTCE_HA_V3.60.zip and it appears to have fix the issue.
Here is the email I got from Dasaita
Here is the MCU update link: 3.60 https://www.sendspace.com/pro/dl/x23xmc Please download then ONLY put IMG file to the usb (format the usb firstly). Finally click the setting > system > > MCU update to update it. (If you can not download the file, please change the Explorer or computer to do it) Hope the software update can help you fix the issue. If not, please email me again.

*****Take a MCU config backup/Export MCU configuration before any MCU change or Update. *****
The regulars here might be a little over posts such as incorrect screen resolution, touch screen not responding and general MCU screw ups
Spoke too soon. Problem still there.
Did you ever sort it ? A friend of mine has a KGL unit with an MD725 wifi/BT module and it connects to my Android phone fine, but his iphone 8 shows up and connects, but most of the time after about 1 and a half minutes it disconnects, occasionally it connects for longer but rarely. I have other friends/family members with both older and newer iphones and MCTD/E units none have this problem with their units.
