bootlooping after flashing rom - Google Pixel XL Questions & Answers

Okay i have had this phone for almost an year now and about approx. 2 months ago i was able to unlock bootloader. i flashed twrp 3.1.1 and flashed an custom rom " i forgot the name" and i was like i wonder if this phone could get dual speakers " phone speaker and loud speaker at once.' and here is where my problem started to end up. i tried flashing stock 9.0 to my phone from custom rom 10.0 and all it did was bootloop. so i wiped the stock firmware and tried reverting back to my custom rom 10.0 and same problem occured . the only way i got my phone to turn back on was to sideload android 10.0 stock firmware back on my phone. i need help with this problem cause i like to test custom roms with my phones and i cant do that with this problem. and i have another issue with trying to upgrade my twrp like 3.1.1 to 3.3.0 or 3.1.1 to 3.4.1 it wont stay permently to the phone it just bootloops over and over. i would greatly appreciate some assistance with issue and if someone could help me solve this i know other users have this same issue thanks again ahead

[Q] Phone stuck on ROM loading screen. out of nowhere.

Hey,
I had AOSP installed on my ascend p6, everything working no problems at all.
Suddenly when I was a week on vacation when my battery died it wouldn't get passed the rom loading screen.
I have TWRP 2.7 and have wiped everything and everything over and over but nothing is working. I am now trying to install The lastest aosp sincde OMNI and CM11 didn't work.
Any help how to fix this? it keeps happening at every rom I install.
Little update:
I just tried reverting from twrp 2.7 to stock boot and recovery and I think I just bricked my device Can;t get passed the huawei ascend screen.
I wanted to reinstall the 118cn from stock recovery. is there anyway to fix this? Thank you!
UPDATE: Okay somehow after rebooting it around 20 times with fastboot, recovery and other combinations it is now booting I think. Praise the lords. It is now optimizing the apps
I have no idea what I did but I will post an update when it is done optimising
UPDATE UPDATE: Okay the weirdest thing just happened and I don't get this at all... I have wiped my whole phone like 5 times. with itsto and exsto. but somehow I now boots with all my apps, settings and launcher intact and inplace... I even installed multiple roms trying to make it work. WHAT IS THIS MAGIC?!
I know I shouldnt do this but I am going to re-install twrp 2.6.*.* and then pushing it to 2.7. Wish me luck! (following the excact instructions to make it work haha)
UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE: Okay, After seeing the wi-fi not turning on I tried rebooting my phone now it is stuck at the huawei ascend screen.

Jelly Bean China stock roms can brick device (lots of users on xda got their device bricked). If you wanted to unlock, best to use KK China.

Will try! I thought I was passed this haha. When It starts i'll try to figure out a way to install it probs trough adb fastboot. since I can't get to the recovery screen with buttons
Update: Okay I managed to boot recovery up trough adb, It automatically started installing the update.app package.
I am now hoping for the best, one good thing... My phone was luckily already in unlock state
UPdate: Succesfully flashed my phone the stock with unlocked bootloader!
UPDate: And now on omni rom Everything is working fine!

bought a sm-t320 used with cm13 on it, flash stock firmware via odin and now bootloop

I got the wifi 8.4 inch version and it arrived with CM13 on it.
I wanted to flash it back to stock so I grabbed the firmware from this post - [link]https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-pro-12-10-8/help/how-to-sm-t320-galaxy-tab-pro-8-4-to-t3122087[/link] and it flashed fine.
After the flash it showed the samsung logo with the blue ring and played that jingle... but now it's been stuck on a screen that just says 'Samsung' for about 30 mins now...
Did it get bricked because it was on a Marshmallow rom and I flashed it back to kitkat?
I remember during the Note 3 days, I was able to odin back to stock kitkat with no problem.
Anyone able to help me with this?
TIA

Yup, booted stock recovery and did a factory reset and flashed firmware again.
Now it's up and running fine, and since then I've been on the unofficial lineage 14.1 build and it's running smoothly.

Mediapad M2 10 A01w

Hi there, I have the above device with unlocked bootloader. It was rooted but I had a problem where the tablet kept rebooting but only after it loaded Android. No amount of following guides fixed it and Recovery and Fastboot were throwing g up problems whenever I tried to flash anything.
Eventually, I managed somehow to switch it on to Chinese update cycle I think and update the ROM with the latest official Chinese EMUI through multiple reboot loops (it downloaded about 10% of the update each time before crashing and getting the next chunk of download next time).
So I'm currently on the latest Chinese ROM running android 5.1.1 and it started working again. However the ROM came without gapps included so I flashed TWRP and installed gapps and I'm back to the reboot cycle. It lasted a long time before restarting again though so I'm guessing it's to do with gapps trying to update.
So I'm back to square one again. Any ideas? Is there any kind of log I can provide to help diagnose? I still have TWRP and have access to that without the bootloop starting again..
How did you rooted it?

Android A1(AQ4501) Dead :(

I own a canvas A1 4GB variant, I had rooted my phone and flashed custom recovery(everything was finee), After a while my phone's battery started giving me problems(lasted only few hours), I considered flashing Stock ROM or any other trusted ROM, I had flashed RR M[07/07] based on android MM, The battery was still giving problem, A week later, My mom's phone broke and she had to use this(A1) temporarily, I formatted everything and thought of flashing stock ROM and handing over the phone to her, I tried flashing the official zip via TWRP, It gave me some error regarding unable to mount system, System partions or something(I don't remember). And after that, I could't flash any ROM, I tweaked some settings in TWRP and now my phone is totally dead, It does not boot up at all, No recovery mode turns on, Nothing except a black dead screen, I tried flashing stock firmware via SP flash tool, It completes and says successful but still nothing happens, Just wanna know if something can happen to this one? I really loved that device and would be great to have it back working.

doesn't work. I have tried various STOCK Roms on mine but didnt work. Please post a link if possible which u think works.

only lineageos works

Hi guys iam sorry if iam being silly.
I rooted my brother's s20 ultra exynos with Magsik i patched the bootloader with magsik and rooted the phone it worked flawlessly but after 2 months my brother restarted his phone it wasnt his first time to restart this phone, his phone bootlooped, he used odin to revert back to stock so that it would stop the bootloop but it didnt help him he factory reseted his phone through stock recovery but no luck, we went to samsung local service they flashed the phone with what every method they used but the phone still bootlooped, they said we have to change the motherboard of the phone because its been damaged or hard bricked. I took the phone and flashed twrp and flashed beyondRom which is a custom rom,but no luck phone bootlooped, i flashed Linageos 18.1 and its recovery and it worked! the phone works now!, so at least i know the phone is not hard bricked and there is nothing wrong with the motherboard otherwise is wouldnt boot, now how can i flash the stock samsung rom without bootlooping because i have successfully tried to flash it with odin and even used nand erase and repartioning option with a PIT file inside CSC file still phone bootloops. Iam out of the ideas, is there any other way to flash the stock rom and not getting bootloop, any help is much appreciated and sorry for the long borring story
Edit:
i fixed it, my phone is fixed by installing android 12 ( SM-G988B_MID_G988BXXUDEVA9_G988BOXMDEVA9_G988BXXUDEVA9_G988BXXUDEVA9.zip )
