shut down without screen code and google account - Samsung Galaxy S20 / S20+ / S20 Ultra Questions &

hallo buddys,
i just bought a brand new s20 and my little sister just set an password and forgot it...
now i thought i can factory reset but without the password i cannot even turn down the phone ??
how i can force the phone to shut down so i can factory reset the phone

You can hold the Powerbutton and the Vol- Key for 10 Seconds to force the shut down and then reset the Phone in the Recovery Menu. But you will need the Google Account for FRP-Lock.

You have to be fast. When you see the boot screen, immediately release the Vol- Key and press the Vol+ Key with the Power Button

Stuck at Google logo after update

I just got my Nexus 7 an hour ago, once i setup with my google account then it asked me to install an update (apparently it says 4.3 update) so I let it do its job and left it there. Now it's stuck on Google logo for quite some time. This is weird for me since I didn't root or flash anything to it yet. Anyone facing the same problem?
EDIT: apparently it got to the X screen after i hold the power button and turn it on again. this is strange...the update shouldnt cause something like this to scare new users lol.
Hold down the power button 30-60 seconds until it reboots again. See if it goes through.
If not, boot into recovery and factory reset.
Power down tablet, Power+VolUp until you see Google, release buttons.
You'll see fallen android, in this exact sequence, Press and Hold Power, then press/release VolUp, then release Power.
You'll see a menu, press VolDown to scroll to wipe data factory reset. Press Power to select.
When it is done, Reboot should be selected, Press Power to select reboot.

Shut the phone down. then remove the battery and wait 20 seconds and reinsert it. Then try to get into recovery (look here for how to http://www.android.gs/enter-recovery-mode-lg-g3/) mode and see if the phone is recognised by the computer if you connect it. Then do a data factory reset in recovery.
Turn off your phone – you can press power button once for selecting “power off” or you can press and hold the power key for about 5 or 6 seconds.
Now, press and hold Power and Volume down buttons at the same time.
When the LG logo appears, release the keys.
Immediately press Power and Volume Down buttons again until the Hard Reset menu will be displayed.
Press Power button once and confirm the hard reset operation (this will not be necessarily if your LG G3 is running on a custom recovery image).
That’s it; now your LG G3 will boot into recovery mode.

Try this:
1 Turn the power off.
2 Press and hold the Power/Lock key + Volume Down key on the back of the phone.
3 Release the Power/Lock Key only when the LG logo is displayed, then immediately press and hold the Power/Lock Key again.
4 Release all keys when the Factory hard reset screen is displayed.

I tried that but doesn't work. It continues in LG logo loop. What could I do? My PC can't detect my phone too.

I did that you said (but keeping volume up pressed, with volume down it did nothing). It enters on download mode but it only keeps in this mode like 2 secs, if I keep volume up pressed it enters again and again, if I release the button it restarts to LG logo loop.

so, nothing you can do to solve the problem, if you are in guarantee time so the only thing you can do is sending the phone to LG Service Center to try fix the problem or maybe replace it!

S20 Ultra att can't access recovery or download mode

I've got att S20 ultra and can't access either download mode or the recovery mode, no matter what I do.
I forgot the pin code and can't reset it.
Tried vol up + power, but phone just boots up.
Pushed vol up and vol down with usb cable, but still same,
Any ideas?
Anyone?
Easiest option if forgot yr pin is to go to Google find my device on a computer login with your Google password registered to that locked device and erase the phone from there. Odd u cannot get into recovery maybe att locked that feature?
I have no problems with entering recovery using vol up + power.
It's easiest to do it after a restart where you press the buttons immediately after the restart has started and keep pressing until recovery shows up.

Phone locked, vol+ button broken, cannot reset - help needed

Is there any way I can factory reset my Vibe P1 without using vol+ button? I lost it's password and usb debugging and OEM unlocking is off, I cannot access it. It's running on Android 6 (Marshmallow). I don't care about my data getting erased.
Or there must be a way to just remove/bypass the screen lock?

that won't work. the recovery menu requires you pressing vol + and - 3 times. then you'll be able to operate through it
