I usually take pictures and videos but im guessing the recent update is causing a warm and cool setting when taking a pic or video. I couldn't find a way to fix it.

I am running stock ROM, on the stock camera app, have done factory reset.
Every picture I take previews as blurry but the actual picture is usually fine. Doesn't sound like a big deal but when I'm trying to take quick pictures of my 3 crazy boys, I'm wasting time reviewing every picture, thinking it might be blurry and needs to be retaken.
My husband says I should just assume every pic is good (thanks a lot!) but I want to see if mine is just a dud or not.
When I review pics inside of MMS threads which ive sent, the pic is blurry. its compressed. anybody know how to disable compression or at least set it to something decent? theres no reason why a tiny pic in an sms thread should be compressed so severely that it makes the photo noticeably blurry.
I'm having this odd issue with my GSM Galaxy Nexus. Over the past week I noticed my photos in the gallery app were being shifted around, as if they were taken later or earlier. So I tested something out, I took a photo and went to the gallery. Normally its sorted by whatever picture you took last but its not like that anymore. When I look at the picture I just took, it shows it as future date, like say July 22st when I clearly took the picture today (July 21) or yesterday. Anyone know whats going on here?
I have the same problem. Did you find a solution?
Try the gallery app from the market called QuickPic. It's the last gallery app you will ever use.
sent from my Galaxy Nexus running RasBean!!!!
quicpic is great..but whats really annoying is when taking a picture and trying to preview in the camera a different picture shows up. I have to swipe quite a way back to get to the picture I just took.
Hey, I got my Galaxy Note 2 a few days ago and so far I'm having a blast with it =) But I noticed an issue while viewing photos and videos... and running the camera app as well:
For some reason while the camera is running, a photo is displayed, or a video is playing, the screen renders everything grainy. I thought it was my imagination, but when I open up a menu, all the icons and options look different too, they don't look smooth anymore, as if anti aliasing (?) was turned off. It's even more noticeable when I use the pop up player option, it effects everything I'm doing on the screen until I close the video. This only happens while content is being displayed, though. When browsing the gallery or scrolling through my video list everything looks fine, until I open something. I also noticed this only happens in Samsung's media apps. Using a different app to view photos doesn't cause this at all. I looked through the forums and couldn't find anyone else with this issue, maybe I'm the only one and should get the phone replaced? Or maybe others haven't noticed it yet... it sounds specifically software related. I had the original Galaxy Note and didn't run into this, so I'm pretty confused. Has anyone else experienced this? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

This is really weird. I took a couple screenshots while the issue was going on but when transferred to my computer they look exactly how they should, no graininess whatsoever. I also tested some more apps, namely Camera Zoom FX and MX Player. Those aren't affecting the display at all either. I looked through every settings menu I could find to see if I had something on that I shouldn't, but nothing helps...
Nobody else seems to be having an issue, maybe my best bet is to exchange it, then
I would try a factory reset. If that doesnt work check out a display model at TMo, if its different ask for a new one.
Just did a factory reset, it's still doing it -_-. I'll check T-Mobile tomorrow, though, thanks!
I just noticed a huge problem with 1080p video from my Mi Max 3 (original rom 6/128). Faces are totally blurred and flattened, huge quality problems. It looks the same in the phone itself then playing back. Why??? I don't want to root it but still have to shoot 1080p30 with image stabilization. Are there alternatives for stock camera app that can do that and don't crap out like that?
This is the link to example video: https://photos.app.goo.gl/e7gSKxykBVtXL5pW9
That is strange, have you tried video elsewhere
All videos from yesterday are like this. I didn't try anything else. It was cold but not too cold. I don't see anything in the settings that could have resulted in this... Why are those blobs there instead of faces? Weird... Older videos seem fine, however there was a recent firmware update...
Photos from the same day at the same time are also like this! But other photos are fine... I'm starting to think it was some kind of condensation on the glass or temperature affecting sensor or something like that, although it wasn't that cold, maybe -8C. Other person shooting on iphone got fine photos and videos. Weird...
Hi. i just purchased a note 8 pro, for the most part satisfied, however i noticed something when i record 4k videos using the stock camera app. basically the phone cant keep up with the fast camera movements. im not sure if there is a term for this problem, but you can see it in the video below, when i move the phone, the change in the display cannot keep up with the movement. i have to wait for the camera to update and its annoying.. is there a way to fix this, or is it a hardware limitation?
