Anyway to have Dualshock 4 support? - LG G8 Questions & Answers

I have an LG G8s Thinq, Dualshock 4 is bad mapped using otg cable or bluetooth, right joystick doesn't work, some buttons do the same action and they can't be remaped inside emulators, I'm root, is there anyway to have the dualshock 4 working as it should?

New update with Android 10 made Dualshock 4 fully working, yay!

With my DualShock 4 I had no problems in Pie 9.0 LATAM. Should be tested on Android 10 when it comes out respectively.

Xbox 360 controller to Galaxy Note 2.

Hi guys.
I have got a USB OTG cable and a wired Xbox 360 controller. I have used this to connect my Xbox 360 controller to the phone. However, when I try to play Shadowgun Deadzone nothing happens when using the controller yet my touchscreen responds ok in the game. I thought Shadowgun natively supports the controller? When I connect the controller to the phone all that happens is the four green lights around the large "X" button simultaneously flash on and off and nothing else. Could any of you guys possibly tell me what could be wrong please? Thanks for any help.

Note 8.0 with the PS3 Gamepad

Hello guys,
I can't get my PS3 Gamepad to work fully with my Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 3G Version. I have an OTG cable and a standart USB cable. The tablet is recognizing the OTG cable, but when I connect the controller and hit the PS button just the digital navigation buttons are working. I can hit X O square and what ever I want, no button is working.
The device is not rooted and it's running on the latest OTA update.
Greetings
Eric
I'm not using a wired controller. You can use a wireless controller with the Sixaxis app on the play store though. That's what working for me right now.

Note 8 might not be supporting game controllers natively fully by itself, It did not work with my 360 wired controller either , however using an app from play store made it work (no root required).
try the USB/BT joystick center app demo from play store and see if that it works for you.

[Q] DualShock 4 Issues with Button Mapping & Using 2 Pads or More.

I Love my DS4 Controller with the Fire TV. But I've been having an issue where in some apps the buttons aren't mapping correctly or not usable at all.
Im also having issues with using more than one controller at the same time. The buttons on either controller map as the same input and both controllers only control player one. This happens both through Bluetooth and wired
I know we currently do not have IME support yet even with root, but i was hoping for any suggestions that may help with this.
Thanks!.

OUYA Controller with CM11

How do I use the ouya controller like a mouse? e.g. freely movable d-stick instead of having to scroll left or right through the clickable objects?
My controller works fine on CM11 using the trackpad in the middle as the mouse with the normal tap to click.

Id like this as well. My nVidia Shield has this and itd be much better than using the track pad on the controller.

really? any settings you changed? right now i am at vanilla cm11, i haven't changed any settings. do i need to disconnect keyboard for it to work? thanks
I only loaded the nightly and the controller overlay zip but nothing else. I just paired it and that was it.
Work fine here too
I think he's talking about using the analog stick, not the trackpad in the middle of the controller. I find the trackpad be very hard to use especially when trying to click and drag. Having the analog stick control the mouse would be great imo
Hi guys, I'm new to posting on here but have been following all over XDA for a while.
The track pad on the stock Ouya controller is very buggy when not running on the stock platform. If you connect the Ouya controller to another Bluetooth device, you will see for yourself the controls become erratic. I was using the track pad on the controller while running CM 11 on my Ouya but found it annoying at best. I have read all over, that if you connect most any 3rd party Bluetooth controller, they will work much better with the Ouya than then stock controller. Personally, I purchased a powered 7-port USB from Amazon, the Amazon basics brand. It has 2 USB 2.0 USB and 5 1.1 USB ports. I can plug in external hard drives, keyboards, USB mouse, and charge my phone while I'm at it. Bluetooth media remotes work well too, check amazon. But they are pricey and can run you more than a decent media keyboard.
As for successfully get the analog stick to control the arrow, it would be great. But I haven't seen it yet. Try a computer mouse. You have a powerful computer at your disposal.

Plugging Dualshock 4 into Oneplus 3

Hi, I need to plug Dualshock 4 PS4 controller into Oneplus 3. I can't use Bluetooth because when I cast screen to Roku 3 while simultaneously using Sixaxis app to connect to controller with Bluetooth it causes distortion on the TV screen when I play SNES/NES emulators (but with Sixaxis app/Bluetooth turned off it's fine).
So I guess my question is this: can I use a 'micro USB to Type C OTG' cable to connect my Dualshock 4 to Oneplus 3 and use it as a gamepad without enabling Bluetooth?
Thanks in advance for your help and insight.
