My s20 is having battery drain issue and I want to know how much percentage does the screen and mobile networks consume. Battery usage does not this statistics. How can I see that?
I used OnePlus before which shows those data on battery usage but s20 did not.
Anyone reply please?

I've done a load of tweaks to maximise the battery life of my Play, and am now getting a couple of days of light use on one charge. Looking at the percentages for battery use, I have "cell standby" and "phone idle" taking up 70% between them. Display is down at 5% even though that's the main culprit for everyone else's battery drain (judging from what I've read).
This made me think - Are cell standby and phone idle taking up too much juice on my phone, or are they just that high because the numbers have to add up to 100 however efficient you make it? On an optimal phone, should cell standby and phone idle be the biggest drains on the battery, or should display always be the biggest problem?
Yes, those should be the largest two values on a very optimized phone. The higher the "phone idle" % is, the better (because phone idle uses very few resources, a really high % means the other apps are using almost no resources). And yes, they all always add up to 100% (it may be a little off because of rounding). Also, "display" means the phone is on and in use, while "phone idle" means the phone is on but the screen is off (so depending on usage, either one of these could be higher)
I was curious what kind of idle battery drain people are getting on their tablets/ROMs?
Measuring with Battery monitor Widget Pro, on my 8.4, running stock TW except for Towelroot, I am averaging -150ma.

Since I have an amper cable I can see the current the tablet draws when its plugged in with screen off / idle and fully charged. mine does this
0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-20-0-0-0-0-0-20-0-0-0-0-0-20
so I would say its draws a quick 20 ma every 10 seconds - but since its plugged in it might not be in the deepest sleep setting that it would be when on battery.
anyways I have no problems with it staying at 100% or 99% leaving it off for the whole day unplugged so it has very good power management in my opinion. - just have to keep the wakelock apps in check
I updated from the ng1 build to the latest nk1 build and my idle battery drain is much improved with the exact same setup running. Now down to -40-50 mah.
I have terrible battery drain randomly for no reason and I don't no what is causing the battery to drain so much. I have attached an image is there anyway of seeing what causes this much battery to drain so quick?

You should install better battery stats, available here on XDA, to pinpoint your battery usage.
Looks like there was a really battery draining event that occurred quite suddenly?

I noticed in the screenshot you have might GPS on, there could be an app running in the background abusing GPS or polling it too quickly (look for a blinking / solid white pointer Icon in the top left of the statusbar, this will tell you if something is requesting location).
GPS will drain battery very quickly and should be disabled unless it's needed.
I'm experiencing pathetic battery life on my 10, which is just about a month old. This is without me using 4G LTE at all. Only Wi-Fi + 3G.
- I'm seeing drain in the range of 10-15% an hour with light usage.
- SOT never goes beyond 3-3.5 hours.
- I've installed the GSAM Battery monitor app. But there's nothing out of the ordinary on the stats. Screen always seems to consume about 30% of the battery. Rest is small bits from multiple apps.
I'm going to have to do a factory reset to fix this. But I really don't want to.
Is there any other fix?

For me 3 - 3.5hrs SOT was normal on stock. Check settings/location/scanning and turn off wifi scanning that has been known to drain battery
+1 on the wifi scan. That will ghost your battery. I turn off vibration feedback as well along with restricting location permission on most of apps so my phone isn't constantly looking for itself on gps which will also drain battey
Disable FB notifications, wireless and BT scan, wireless notifications and optimalization . Set wifi to never when screen is off

Battery life is subjective.
It'll depend on what you have running, what you restored, the apps and their state, your phone settings, brightness etc. What's connected and what you are doing on your phone..
HTC hasn't historically been the go to phone for great battery life.
A few hours 3-4 SOT is pretty decent for a phone.
You could do the normal things like, switching off connectivity options when not in use, ie location, wifi, data, NFC.
Check what apps are running, for example if Google photos is backing up your pics it's going to hit battery life.. Other apps will do the same, Facebook etc.
I'm not saying don't use your phone but depending on your habits you'll have varying degrees of stamina from your battery.
First thing to do, lighten the load, then grab better battery stats and see if anything is keeping it awake.
i suspect my router here and dhcp lease to be an issue, battery issue happens every dhcp lease (24hrs = 86400) when phone wifi does not turn off wifi after 15 minutes. static ip does not help at all, only rebooting wireless process on router. other than that battery life seems ok - 48 hrs light use.

Same issue here
Make a factory reset and test without your apps.
Will most likely be one of your apps causing this.
Hi all,
I have an S20 exynos and sometimes it heat battery quicker than usual and I cannot understand what is the issue. The battery stats are stupid in Android, if you sum all the % the total is not 100%..that's really annoy me.
Also i don't think is a particular app, but mainly something related to core functionalities or system things.
Every app is set for batter optimization, I don't have strange apps using battery, I don't have Facebook app installed, so annoying.
The issue is with background usage, sometimes I can do 6 hours SOT, sometimes I cannot reach 3 and half. My usage is almost the same every day, and battery stats show nothing abnormal.
Any idea?
(sorry for my English)
I would use Accubattery to track exactly which app is using your battery instead of the built in battery function which does not have enough detail.
Its exynos and the software driven idle drain.
A lot of people have pointed to the Exynos modem as a battery hog, even when the phone is idle.
