This shows the primary networks (sim 1)
& secondary networks (sim 2)
Dual sim is important feature for me also.
It's quad band on both radios, so it will work fine in Italy.
It costs around $915. Not a good price.
Thnaks guys
is there any section here dedicated about this phone, for custom rom and other mods?
I think that with the dual sim feature I can't flash the custom rom with omega and more, right?

No, you can't flash existing custom roms. Whether there will be dev support for this phone is what I can't tell. since its only to be sold in the chinese market, I doubt if it will receive as much community support as the international counterpart
Android question for China GNII
I'm also in the market to buy a dual SIM phone and am quite keen to buy the N7102. I heard however China Android phones have limitations to access Google services like Gmail, Google maps etc. I also heard there is no way to access the Google Play store to download apps. Can anyone verify this? I don't live in China so these limitations will keep me from buying this model. Thanks everyone.
Mochiware, your gonna use the phone outside China? No problem downloading those apps & using western internet access.
Yes, i want this phone also, I'm happy to have dual sim & DC HSPA+ & forget LTE for now
$890 is alot of money & its going to be cheaper than that for me to buy it, 3rd December release date onwards should see it reduce a bit hopefully.

Pat, can you provide more details about access Google Play, signing into Google accounts etc? I heard from a friend living in China that there are restrictions that prevent Google access. Do you mean outside of China these restrictions don't apply over wifi and/or 3G? I can live without LTE so long as I can use dual-SIM so both my work and personal numbers can be on the same device. I carry 2 mobiles now and that can be annoying sometimes. Thanks in advance.
I've been using dual sim adaptors for many years & can't imagine only having one sim but i would like to have calls & SMS coming in from both numbers as well.
Yes your Sims wont be Chinese will they so your network will give you the same access you get on any other 2g/3g phone you currently use.
If you think about it, the Chinese restrictions are going to be applied through the network/carrier otherwise nothing would stop them buying non Chinese handsets to avoid the blocks, it would be to easy.
Any apps missing on the software you can download. "Play store" is a downloadable app ...

I just got an n7102 tonight, and gonna root it tomorrow to get my google service back: p
BTW , you could not just install google play, you will get fc. You need to install googleserviceframework.apk as well.
Ok, thanks for correcting me, can i ask about where you bought & price?
i understood the 7102 to be available for delivery only from 3rd Dec.
Thanks guys let me know the questions I'm going to china next week I can ask to my friend and I will go in a store for test the phone
Thanks buddy let me know about root and many other info about the phone that u got it
Inviato dal mio GT-I9300 con Tapatalk 2
U should be able to flash the GAPPS to get all google services back from http://goo.im/gapps, once it's rooted and custom recovery installed. The 3rd Dec delivery is for some online retailers only, from what I heard its already available for sale domestically in China.

It won't have the standard google apps out of box. The software is a modified version of android with pretty much all google service removed. There s no way using gmail google play maps or YouTube apps without root.
I can't verify this but I don't think it comes with German language UI either.
I just rooted my N7102, and reinstall back from my GSG3 backups. then removed all the default apps.
All work fine! Google account, google play, google map....etc.
thanks a lot for your prompt reply!
Will this beast then launch in Hongkong with full functions out of the box?
Got my Tab 7.7 there which works perfectly without flashing etc..
Thanks!

thanks
I will buy the phone in shanghai if somebody want receive info in real time install whatsapp and send me the phone number by PM, I will be in China from 5 dec to 14 dec.
Ivan
yes, I use the normal N7100 odin and cd-root to root N7102. It works fine! I didn't re-install CWM but recover from my backups.
and CWM shows that N7102 is not supported! So I uninstalled it.

It's not clear that will happen.
There s no indication this model will be released outside mainland China.
Hy all,
I miss the CM feature of showing the contacts ordered by most called in dialer.
EX NOW:type "m" shows
aa m
bb m
m
xx m
while I talk the most with "m", it would be great to show them in order of most called like:
m
aa m
xx m
bb m
Is there a way to do that on the stock dual sim caller from i9192 ?
Or is there an alternative app ?
I'm using PixelPhone app.
It has recently got dual-sim features (I don't have dual-SIM so you have to check it).
It seem that it displays contacts the way you want it to.
You can check the Favorite tab in dialer screen. it lists according to the most contacted person at the top..

thank you, it's something, but not quite as it should
tried pixelPhone, does what I needed, but it's a "need one more click" .... I wanted as in stock, with 2 buttons on dialer...call from sim1 or call from sim 2....not "call" and then select the sim screen.
found it
for whom it might interest :
I found that DW Dialer does what I need, also with A LOT of customizable stuff & good for dual sim phones!
Have fun!
I use Touchpal Contacts, looks great, has nice themes, two call buttons... Also, I think it does what the OP asked...
Just one thing though, when you install it and start it for the first time, pick single SIM mode, and then enable dual SIM from the settings, otherwise it will only use one SIM. At least it did for me...

Hi, new to forum and Android and just upgraded from iphone 4 to my first Android phone and super excited! *80 plus views in the Note 5 help section but no replies so hope someone can please help me out here.
Walmart has these new on closeout now for 199. so knew it was time to upgrade.
Have unlocked phone through ATT online request and entered code but have still not set phone up yet and would greatly appreciate some guidance on what is the best way to get rid of the bloatware these come with?
Thanks much!

Go into settings -> apps -> open the carrier apps or any other app you wouldn't use and disable them one by one ... be careful not to disable system apps...
Hope this helps...
Get Package Disabler Pro for Samsung on the app store. You won't be able to disable a lot of the bloatware with only using the system settings.
The only issue is that using the default block list on the Package Disabler, Samsung Pay secure keypad won't work. Also make sure Samsung Push Service is not disabled or Samsung Backup won't work.
Thanks much!
I need to record calls for my job.
In my Note 8, italian CSC (which was recently stolen during a trip...sigh) i had installed an indian firmware after changing CSC thanks to XDA members and the clear instructions posted in the relative forum (https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...ording-wip-t3905737/post79009745#post79009745).
It's there a similar process for Note 10 and Note 10+? Someone can please post the instructions to do that?
I'm waiting to buy it because i've not still find the way to record calls (blame on **** Google)....
Or there is some other valid solutions?
Thanks in advance

The process is the same, you just need to use the correct combination file for your device.
Before you do that though, you may want to try using a 3rd party callrecorder app, since they now seem to work with the Note 10/+ to varying degrees.
See this thread:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-10+/help/call-recorder-app-t3960278
I use 'BoldBeast' on my Note 10 plus 5G and it works perfectly, some people report good results with 'ACR' but I found that the other party volume was lower compared to when using 'BoldBeast'.
The main thing is not to download from the 'Play Store', for 'ACR' download from the 'Galaxy Store' and download 'BoldBeast' from it's developers site.
Thanks!
I will try before 3d party applications...
just an answer: this applications recognize the recorded telephone numbers too? or the recorded contacts?
otherwise it would not be easy to quickly find a recording among the various archives (because I read that Google has also blocked the ability to recognize numbers and contacts for third-party applications)
I need to install a good spam filter too in my dialer, so waiting for suggestions about that too. (in indian firmware there was one by default in Note 8.... it's there in Note 10 too? in european firmware too?)
Thanks in advance

'BoldBeast' recognises numbers, the only drawback is that auto record is only available on the paid app, otherwise you just press the record button.
Also, no call recorder, native or 3rd party is able to record calls made over wifi.
Spam filter is a native feature in the Note 10/+ Exynos dialer.

Forgot to add, 'BoldBeast' recognises contacts too, so the answer is that it recognises both numbers and contacts.
Call recorder by skvalex is the best, in my opinion, or simply the built-in Samsung automatic call recorder, which you may enable in the stock phone app.
