i tried to contact mi company ..... rejected
tried download twrp , I can't coz it is locked
using fastboot mode and adb mode in cmd mode , also I can't coz it is locked
tried edl mode with test points , pc find the device but mi flash tools can't
fastboot with mi flash tools , also I can't coz it is locked

Hi there, there is just two way to solve this problem.
1. Contact with a Xiaomi Service Center. (They have their regulations to make sure that you are the owner of the phone)
2. Find someone that have Xiaomi EDL Authorized Account. (Most of them will ask for a turned off finding device feature, otherwise even they would not be able to help you)
If you are sure that your find device future is turned off, you can find someone in internet (at your own risk) that posses an EDL Authorized Account, or you can try websites like S-Unlock (also at your own risk) to get an EDL Authorized Account for yourself, it costs about 30$.
If "Find Device" option is turned on; either make a contact with Service Center again, or, I do Afraid, sell it as spare parts.
There is just one other way but it is highly risky: find someone that can change the chipset. (Hardware repair: not recommended)
If I were you I would double check if I still can get access to my mi account or not, maybe you can find some options to open it with some other credentials info.

but if they are calling from any country should start +9665xxxxxx
thats mean remove 0 from the the number
my mistake i put +9966 0 5xxxxxx for that I can't get the message of reset the password

Maybe you can get an access to your mi account by mi website, try it out.

there is official way at mi website where you will need to confirm it using your registered mi email account, they will reset the password for you

Hey everyone as i mention above have using the device abot a week more, since i get this devices i also used another Xiaomi devices no need to mentions all of them here, so basically it's not a new things for me unlocking, applying, and executes the UBL. day one i use the existing MID to loggin in the micloud/miaccount on my 5s (i've two old existing MID)both of them has permissions to UBL already.
Activating developer mode through setting, and heads to that options, activating debug, oem unlock allowance, and last step binding the MID in miunlock status, day one after many tries its still failed to bind with tost messages said "failed to verify, wait a minute or two, please try again", ok i leaves that for a next day, assuming that i might to hurry doing that. Next two days still gimme the same error, trying to find some post and thread to solve and try some of tutorial to fix that.
signing out the MID, and factory reset the devices setting up as new without signing MID on the 1s settup, log in in MID (Two MID) through chrome and cleaning all devices connected and leaves it empty (not even one devices left connected to that MID), entering MID on the setting app on my devices (try using email,phone number, just the ID) and activating the developer mode and trying to bind the MID in miunlock status , Crap its still gimme the same error (trying winth cellular/wifi).
Okay some told me to create fresh and new account with new number and applying unlock done 24X1 i receved messages granted to unlock. reseting device to factory setting, signing a new and fresh MID and heads to miunlock status trying to BIND the MID again its failed with the same error message.
I do have flashing the devices through testpoint EDL mode to make sure that i'm on official Miui not a fake one, (try both stable,dev, CN and Global) still no luck.. Please can somene here help and share me another guides, thanks
Please ask this directly in the English Miui forum. There you can also check if you still have the unlock permission.
Sometimes their servers are overloaded and it can take some days until they work fine again.

Did it, no attentions there, contacting mi global service through email 4times without solutions yet, and now seems they ignoring my email ni respons at all, F"#£K!!!
I don't know if you need to get a fresh unlock permission for your phone. If you do, then this can take 2 weeks after you applied for it.

1. Download the file to your PC "MiFlashPro" (v4.3.1106.23)
2. Download firmware stock "begonia_global_images_V10.4.2.0.PGGMIXM"
3. An authorized Xiaomi Mi Service account.
Download and decompress the stock firmware on your desktop "begonia_global_images_V10.4.2.0.PGGMIXM" and follow this steps:
1.1- Instal and run MiFlashPro.
1.2- Go to the installation path in: (C:\Program Files (x86)\MiFlashPro\SP_Flash_Tool\mi), execute as administrator the file "account_auth.exe" and log into an authorized Xiaomi service account.
1.3- Go to the installation path in: (C:\Program Files (x86)\MiFlashPro\SP_Flash_Tool), execute"flash_tool.exe".
(The program will open and you will have to select three files)

Or you have a partner's Xiaomi business or you must to spend 200 bucks (more or less).
One of this persons will CREATE an service authorized account for you.

Huh, it's not just binding your PRIVATE pc with your Mi account. Auth_whatever.exe allow me to login without any errors, ready to flash message not red unauthorised account warning.
I think my account authorized because either I plead to them for giving me authority to FLASH when on RN3PRO BIG MESS CASE, I must apply form in CHINESE (there was tutorial because I dunno any Chinese). I need one because very hardbrick after flashing alpha rom, yes one dead phone with no fastboot / recovery revived :silly:
Either that or because my account bonded and already unlock dozens different models devices (I am reseller, some people especially old ppl and technology illiterate ones let me managed their phones account).
Binded account unfortunately won't be able to be used on other pc. I got a notice that I will only got limited access for a week or so if I change the pc I Binded, so sharing is impossible.

I tried to use my standard mi account, just in case (spoiler, didn't work) and the download process is stuck at the state it is just before pluging the phone. I mean, pluging the phone does not start anything, but still my computer sees the phone. The flash tool does not display any error about authorization.
Does anyone know if it's a normal behaviour ? It sounds a bit strange not to display any error.

Hi, my r8 pro has bricked recently, i'm really scared, can you help me? i already tried these options:
°boot > recovery = black screen
°boot > fastboot = black screen

°i disassembly my cellphone and disconected and re conected the battery but nothing
°i'm trying to drain battery power to 0% because it was charged to 80% and now i'm connecting some things to negative and positive parts of the cable of the battery to consume energy and drain the battery

Haven't they changed the need for an authorized account? I bricked my RN8P and tried this.. the first time I used my mi account I got an error upon login, but the second time I tried it a bit later, it worked.. Does this mean I have an authorized account now? The unbrick process worked like a charm btw. I however, had the preloader files installed as stated somewhere else on this forum (preloader_begonia and lk).

Is that the same case as The Great Anti Rollback Pandemic? I've messed up my Note 5 Pro and missed the chance to apply for special permission, so got that bad boy resurrected with a bypassed xiaomi flash.

Stuck in recovery
Hi guys
i'm stuck with my RN8P CN, I've made mistakes while thinking I have a global version but instead I have CN version. So now my phone is stuck with no rom and I have thestock recovery, the bootloader is locked, fastbook is ok.
But when i want to use mi unlock to install TWRP and the stock rom it failed saying "please add your account in MIUI settings".
How can i do that without a rom ? Or so, do you have a guide for getting back a stock phone with stock recovery/rom ?

Unfortunately, there is no helping as per today for your condition. Your only choises is:
Go to Xiaomi Service Center nearby,
Buy a Third Party smart box based flash solution (it cost fortune, but worth for investment if you see your smartphone as "toys").
Buy a Third Party account to authenticate flash with third party flash solution (No smartbox needed, and cost a fraction of fortune).
Go to a nearest phone repair shop (They usually have one of two flash solution above, cost around $20-$30, depends on your region)
Use a Remote-based flash solution (You connect your phone to your computer, repairman will ask you to install necessary tools, and control your PC via remote desktop)
Buy a new phone (totally cost an arm and leg)
As none of solution above is supported by this community, you will have to go on your own.

Yes, you can and it's very easy.
This tutorial shows how to change the IMEI with and without root: naijaknowhow.net/how-to-change-imei-of-all-mtk-android-devices/
Since it's MTK sure there is a lot of ways to do it but are you sure?
Changing IMEI is illegal in most countries / will break your ability to call, sending / receiving SMSs.
Except if yours was null/invalid (multiple zeros) and you want to change it back.

Have you tried maui meta?
Version 10.1816.0.1 just says boot, phone turned off, nothing happens anymore. I boot manually nothing happens in the tool
1920 the same and I got connection with the Redmi via W10, I can for example upload files onto Redmi
This is the right tool. I just rewrote my IMEIs with it. Make sure you have device drivers installed or it will fail to connect.

Did it boot to meta mode?
Have you followed instructions? It is nearly the same in every video for IMEI changing.
On the Redmi Note 8 Pro, If you ever lose your IMEI and have a full TWRP backup, restore the following partitions:
- nvcfg
- nvdata
- nvram
- persist
- protect_f
- protect_s
Most notable protect_f and protect_s. This apparently contains modem files. Restoring the others fixed an issue where it didn't ask for MIUI account login after factory reset.

Just curious? What would be the benefit if any to changing your IMEI?
Not seeing a point to it. I had an old Lenovo K3 note an from time to time my IMEI would dissapear an I had a devil of a time getting SMS or calling to work when it did.
Luckily some kid on YouTube invented a software that replaced the default IMEI. An only then the cell worked.
So if removing it causes that many issues then why change it?

Did you mess up the imei files or is it a blocked (reported stolen) phone? Discussing imei changing is not appreciated and most times even not allowed to discuss on XDA.

in Türkiye goverment doesn't allow phones that brought from abroad. you have to pay lots of taxes. almost as much as phone price. thats why people trying to change imei.
I have Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 PRO GLOBAL bootloader unlocked, TWRP installed, Android 9 , MIUI 11, ADB and Fastboot see the phone and allow access, I need change IMEI, Modem META 10.1952 see the phone VCOM allow access to phone, IMEI data read from phone and Update parameter tool allow data read from phone and store. But when I have changed data serial and imei and write to phone back Modem META indicate upload compleate OK. But after reboot in phone when I turn it ON stay the original parameter phone not changed parameter.

Greeting you. This device firstly was stuck at "Mi" logo where "Android..." was loading. I left it may be week. Then I could get to fastboot mode. However, now it`s not going out from it. I can't unlock bootloader because it says to me "go so miui settings-> sign in" and etc. I cant even turn this phone on. If I could, I wouldn't even need this things.
So Mi Flash tool either not works. Firstly it says "mismatching device and..". So I've deleted that line from flash_save data_.. - named bat file. It now gave me next error. "erase boot error". So I took and deleted this one too). To see what happens. It gave me next error - which is in next line and all around. What a system! So, any ideas where even I am?
Well you can't flash it with fastboot without bootloader unlocked. You could try to get to edl mode. And then you can it with miflash. But U need authorized account for this. I don't have one but there are some guys that offers help for some payment. But be careful cause they want money first. You will all the necessary files to be download like firmware, miflash... Team viewer installed. He will log on his authorized account and flash it. I've seen a method without 3rd person help. But it requires some payment as well. Just search for flash without authorized account. To get to edl you will have take the back cover off. There are 2 pins to shortcl circuit. You will find the instructions on internet. And I don't know if this will help in your case of course. Maybe motherboard is broken.

I am losing my mind already. I have acquired the bootloader unlock authority permissions or whatever, but the Miunlock tool does not work, keeps giving me the error "Couldn't verify device, can't get info, connect again"
I recovery'd to a lower MIUI version global rom and tried again, it didn't work. I have done mi support many times, and they told me to contact my seller for repair as it's not letting me unlock bootloader. I have also tried using "XiaoMiTool v2", but the error I get is this:

Unable to contact seller as they are gone from Amazon and apparently Xiaomi devices aren't released in the US which does not help my case. I'm wondering if anyone knows how to fix this?
Try with another data cable. It could be that device is not recognized. After conne2the cable, first go in Device Manager in Windows to see if device shows up correctly or shows as unknown device with exclamation mark.
Happened with me when I was using Sony Xperia few years ago. Removed extention cable and used Sony's own cable, it worked.
