I was in Android 6 (On S7) until yesterday. Installed Lineage 17.1 (Android 10) and it works.

Follow the device specific installation guide. Generally it is recommended to have latest available stock ROM installed before going to custom ROM.

Review PURE NEXUS Mi Max Prime ROM Search on GOOGLE
Yes... I tried some Roms like Miui Global and Resurrection Remix, but the best Rom imho is Pure Nexus (Helium Variant) . Runs like a Charme, pre-rooted and no real bugs so far.

What do you mean "several others" - give some links
If we speak about nougat there is only lineage you mentioned and Pure nexus digged deeply in it's tread
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=164588
Of course there is MIUI also based on Nougat

Here you can find the Pure Nexus for Helium. Remember to flash Gapps directly after flashing the Rom, otherwise Google Play Services will not work correctly. :good:
Guys I just found a link to download the Lineage OS 15.1 UNOFFICIAL build, but I'm afraid that's a scam or something like that, can you guys tell me if this is true? Thank you!

I need a video tutorial or a pictured installation guide to install a global rom to my rooted device which it has a 5.2.2.6A rom. Can anyone help?
Does anyone know if there is a custom rom or even an Android 9 room for the LG G7 ULM???
You can install AOSP and choose a rom or the stock korean version is already on 9.0
Or you have unofficial lineage OS

Hi,
I have a Nexus 5 running on the latest stock Marshmallow build, but rooted with Chainfire SuperSu.
I'd like to flash Lineage OS on it, but I understand that the latest Lineage OS doesn't support the Nexus 5.
What are the newest versions that do? I'd like to have it on Nougat or Oreo.
Thanks!

Custom rom is device dependent like that: https://forum.xda-developers.com/google-nexus-5/orig-development/rom-lineageos-16-0-nexus-5-t3921162
That's an unofficial build. Are there official builds? Didn't Lineage OS use to support the Nexus 5?

I don't quite understand your question whether you are on 12 planning to switch to 11 or on 11 planning to switch to 12.
I may have (I really forgot, but my miui had one really slow update process) updated my miui to android 12, and installed lineageos 18.1 (android 11) and I have no problems so far aside from the auto brightness acting erratically.
Check the recommended firmware required by the custom rom
