LG G8 sprint unlocked keeps losing data connection - LG G8 Questions & Answers

So I'm using my LG g8 from sprint thag is unlocked in Mexico, but every now and then and out of the blue it losses the data signal, and can't receive, make or even navigate on the web... Only when setting airplane mode and then deactivating it right away I get the signal back again.
What do you guys think it's happening? Any way to fix this or is it a problem on the phone itself?
TYIA

it's the same on the sprint network. every I lose the signal in bad signal areas and I have to activate airplane mode to get signal or data again. it constantly disconnects from the signal in those areas or if you store it under your bed, your pocket or your bag

Cellular Network Connected but cannot call nor text

Does anyone have this problem of having excellent cellular network connection but still being unable to call, text or even use the internet? My friend sitting beside me is using the same network so I don't think it's an issue with the cell tower.
The only fix is to enable airplane mode and disable it. And even sometimes, the airplane mode refuses to turn back off and I have to reboot the phone. I've never had such cellular issues with a HTC phone before. Makes me think twice before ever buying one of their phones.
I'm using stock ROM, unrooted.

telstra LTE Note 2, trouble switching from wifi to 3G

I have a portable hotspot (a HTC Sensation with a shattered screen and tasker forcing wifi sharing on as long as the phone is on) works great but everytime I leave my bag and walk a few meters away I'd expect to switch to 3G, but every second time I do this the 3G just wont turn on so I am left without a data connection at all. Ditto when I walk out of range of my house wifi at the far end of my backyard.
Flicking aeroplane mode and mobile data on and off has no effect and I need to reboot the phone before I get 3G data back, phone calls and sms continue to work its just the data.
I'm on the stock Telstra ROM, rooted.
Does this ring a solution bell for anyone? Thanks.

Trouble reconnecting to network, 4g but no data

So I live in NYC, and often go underground because of subway or go into buildings with thick walls and no reception, and lose 4G/LTE signal on the phone/building.
When i am out in the open again, the phone will reconnect and shows full bar with 4G/LTE, i can make normal calls/text, however, there is 0 internet data connection.... and takes like 15-20minutes for the phone itself to be able to use data again. this can be fixed with turning on airplane mode for like 3 seconds, and then disable it, but since this happens so often because where I live, this is driving me crazy. Does anybody know what kind of problem this is??
I've searched the forum, and heard that is caused by "ISIS" Sim card from Tmo? any help is appreciated.
sorry for the bump/necro... i am still having the problem :< anybody know this issue?

Mobile Data stops working

Hello,
I live in an area (like many of us) there T-mobile service isn't that great. I daily drive through areas with zero service and I have almost no service at my house so we utilize WIFI Calling.
I have been finding for the past few months that when I return to an area of good service (phone showing full bars of 4G or 4G LTE) that I cannot move any cellular data. If I reboot the phone then everything works again for a while. I have tried to toggle into airplane mode and back but this does not help, only a full reboot helps.
Does anyone else get this? Its very annoying to have to reboot the phone when I need to use cellular data. Appreciate some input. Phone is NOT rooted and running the latest available software from T-mobile

It happens all the time for me. I've not been able to figure out why it happens, but I've seen some speculation in other threads where people think it can break when switching between H+, 4G, LTE, etc. Some people have reported that switching to airplane mode and back fixes it, but it doesn't work for me. Only a reboot will fix it for me.
Here is another thread with some discussion on it:

Thanks for the response. I'm not happy to hear it appears to be happening to everyone. I wonder if any of the carriers have reported this to Samsung?
I cleared the cache partition on my phone 2 days ago and I've been good since...that doesn't mean it fixed it but its been a while since I had 2 good days!
THIS HAPPENS TO ME OMG!!! I thought I was going crazy... it happens quite often in NYC where we travel by subway underground... Switching to Airplane mode then back indeed fix it majority of the time, but it doesn't work sometimes...
Also, this happens when i am on Wifi for extended period of time, and then leave WiFi, the phone will show 4G LTE but wont' push any data.
Going into Phone status will show that you have no IP Address...
edit: btw, i've done an exchange with Tmobile, and still happens on the phone, Swapped SIM card as well, doesn't solve the problem. T-Mobile ran diagnosis, and found nothing wrong. I suspect it might be T-Mobile's network configuration...
Also, I can almost 100% reproduce this when I am playing a game that requires periodic connection (like loading acount info), and then playing in the subway while doing data connection between subway station (we have internet at the station, but not in the tunnel) will break my 4G LTE data connection...

Using WIFI will terminate my Mobile Data connection after turning it off

Hello guys!
Here is the deal. I hope somebody is able to help me. I have a galaxy s6 920p with the ramified ROM (OH1 version on OI1 band) that works perfectly except for this weird issue. So, i am in Peru and i unlocked my phone, it works perfectly with my local carrier on LTE or 3G depending on the coverage EXCEPT when i connect to a wireless network(WIFI), if i do so my LTE 3G icon will dissapear as expected and be replaced with the WIFI bars and i would then be on Wifi internet which is fine. The problem comes when i move away from wifi signal or turn off the WIFI myself, the signal bar will remain full and i can make and receive calls normally but there will be a "!" sign next to it indicating that the mobile data is not working, the only way to fix this is by either rebooting the phone or setting it to flight mode for around 10 seconds and then bringing it back to normal, which makes my mobile data start working normally until the next time i turn on the WIFI. I have also noticed that my APN gets unticked everytime i connect to WIFI, regardless of this sometimes (i would say 30%) if i turn off the wifi the 3g/lte connection will resume normally. I am a pilot and sometimes i keep my phone without airplane mode, in the air i lose signal but as soon as i regain ground i recover my lte/3g, so this also indicates me that is not something related to the reconnection of signal itself but something regarding the WIFI. I hope you guys have any clue of what is going on here because it is really annoying and i haven't found any info about this. TY in advance!!!!
