Dear all,
I hope everyone is doing great in this difficult period of time (COVID-19)
I want to make this post related to downgrade Tizen OS. At this moment the current version is (4.0.0.7)
Is there anyone who has the chance to downgrade Tizen? If anyone has an idea please share.
I will try and test with my SM-R500
Thanks,

Hello all,
Yes I'm a N00B asking a N00B question......
I'm wanting to update my phone (vodafone v1605) with the new firmware.
I'm also looking at upgrading my OS to WM6 Black Pro V3.
Shall I upgrade the firmware first then the OS?
Is WM6 Black Pro V3 the newest version or is there a better version available.
I have been looking through the forum and threads but there are so many my head is starting to hurt!!
If anyone is willing to help me out then I'd be very greatfull, as I dont want to fry my handet.
Cheers.

the WIKI is a good source of info, there is also a guide here on how to upgrade, the process is pretty much the same for all WM6 ROMS

Is the Radio in the link newer than the official Vodafone release?
And, is the WM6 version the latest, as it seems there may be another version??
Hi Koldphusion, welcome to forum
Cannot answer the question about radio, as am on orange uk. Searching/reading Wiki should help with this though.
But the latest black rom is available on http://wmblack.info , 3 options, also there is a link there to Mr Vanx's upgrade guide which will walk you through upgrades.
Good luck
Hi there,
First of all, this is an awesome knowledge base. Congrats.
Secondly: I'm new in XDA town - so please have some indulgence if I make any mistakes. In addition, English is not my first language.
Back to topic. A couple of days ago, I bought an AT&T branded Note 5 N920A with Lollipop 5.1.1.
I would like to flash it to Nougat. As far as I understand, I have to flash it to Marshmallow first. The recent software version on the phone is N920AUCS2APE3.
From my understanding, I need a dedicated update package from N920AUCS2APE3 to N920AUCU2BPE6. Everything is nicely described in this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/at...ow-to-manually-update-to-marshmallow-t3380624
but unfortunately the links are dead.
What is still not clear to me is, whether or not any (=any AT&T) other update package would work too. I found a download for the Marshmallow N920AUCU2BPE6 (https://forum.xda-developers.com/at.../n920a-mm-odin-package-n920aucu2bpe6-t3415938) but I don't want to spend hours to try this out and then have to roll back to N920AUCS2APE3 because of a soft bricked phone.
I couldn't find any dedicated N920AUCS2APE3-to-N920AUCU2BPE6-file. Is there still any possibility to get this update done?
Cheers

No you don't have to flash Marshmallows first if you want to go to Nougat. You can use this thread to go strait to Nougat 7.0 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=71977275

Hi guys, I'm currently on 6.0.1 Marshmallow and I want to update to Oreo 8.1, I'm on Baseband G891AUCU2APK2 ON AN att s7 active, I've found info on updating to Oreo here but I honestly can't understand the instructions, I have experience flashing before, I remember updating to Nougat and rooting a long time ago when it was still unstable, so I went back to Marshmallow, but now I can't remember the procedure, do I first need to be on Nougat or can I go straight from 6.0.1 to Oreo ? Hello,
I want to ask about downgrading Tizen from 4.0.0.7 to 4.0.0.4. It is because i want to change my region to use SPay.
But i really cant find files to use. (AP,BL,CSC) There are a lots of "tutorials", but most of them have links to this forum to thread where are already only 4.0.0.7 files.
I appreciate any helps.
Thanks.
Hi,
take a look here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/sm...wares-roms-r8xx-netodin-galaxy-watch-t4077071
Wau, thank you very much. I somehow missed this thread.
I will try it soon. Hope it will work.
Hi all,
So I have looked around and I can't find a thread that can help, unless I am missing something which if I am could someone please help a novice out and point me in the right direction. I didnt want to make an unnecessary thread but here is my inquiry.
So I have a Galaxy Watch 46m BT and I am trying to change the csc so that I can use Samsung Pay. The watch is in French whenever I reset it so I am assuming that's the native country and I am trying to change it to US (XAR). I running Tizen version 5.5.0.1, Software version R800XXU1FUD1 and One UI 2.0.
Now I've tried the easy way, but I think since it's running on a newer version of Tizen I may need to downgrade and then try it? I am not 100% and didn't want to brick my new watch so I am asking the community and if anyone can help and point me in the right direction I would seriously appreciate it and once again I apologize if this question has been asked before however I couldn't find my specific scenario.
Thanks
S
You can downgrade from 5.5.0.1 to 4.0.4 and change the csc.
Check it out: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/sm-r800-4-0-0-7-csc-change-process.4190167/
After that, you just need to update your watch again.
