Instructions :
SECURITY ADVICE
Don't flash ROMs or Magisk modules which set SELinux to permissive or you welcome malware on your device!
Install Latest Firmware
Grab the Sony Stock firmware using e.g. XPeriFrim. You should always flash the firmware matching the LOS build.
Grab newflasher and put it in the same folder as the firmware files.
Read the newflasher original post on XDA for general instructions!
Remove the following from the folder so they won't get flashed:
all *.ta files (keep the one in the boot/ directory)
Turn off your phone
Hold the volume down button and attach it via USB to your system till you see LED turning green
Run newflasher from within this directory to flash the remaining files
Skip the second optional step (dumping of trim area), it's useless if your bootloader is unlocked already and takes a long time.
Hit Yes for all the next questions asked in Newflasher(Only dumpin of trim area should be selected no and rest all questions should be selected as yes.
Once Newflasher flashes the Stock rom, boot into it and make sure volte is available.(VOLTE WILL NOT WORK ON BLISS IF YOU DO NOT HAVE IT IN STOCK ROM.
Incase you are not able to see volte icon in stock either your carrier does not support it or there is an issue with the stock rom(Try flashing it again).
Once you confirm Volte is available in stock, Flash the TWRP recovery and follow below instructions carefully.
Boot into recovery >> Format Data >> Power off the Phone.
Again boot into recovery >> Format Data >> Power off the Phone.
This time boot into recovery >> Wipe Internal Storage.
Flash ROM, Gapps, Magisk.
In the setup wizard select SIM 1 as the default sim for calls data and message.
Once Boot is complete, wait patiently for few mins.
Go to Settings >> Blissify >> Advanced System Icons >> Set icon for Volte.
Voilllaa you should have volte and dual sim both enabled.
Google Apps
You can download and install the Google Apps from opengapps.org. You need ARM64 and 10.x. I suggest to *always* use the pico or nano package. If you need additional apps you find them in the Play Store.
MicroG
This ROM does support Signature Spoofing. However we are watching MicroG and check if they provide newer builds e.g. for Android Pie.

after few retry, successfully booted. VoLTE works fine(unlike LOS17.1, can make a call). everything works flawlessly except screen lock.
When set a PIN for screen lock. screen lock was already changed try again with new screen lock toast message is popped and settings app keeps stopping.

Saw this while at work yesterday and flashed it to my spare when I got home. I haven't even put a sim in it yet and have mostly just messed around with display settings and customization.
First impressions are good, really good. Like, may become daily driver good. I've never seen Bliss ROM but I like it, especially the gradient feature under themes. I will test more when I have several days off work.

it is not working.

Very good rom.
Lot of features, good performance, battery, smooth as silk but
Cannot setup lockscreen
Keyboard is white with white letters so i cant see letters
Webview is broken so in logging to google play or stock browser you cant see everything but working
Connect to sim card takes more time than in AEX 10
Gps not work
Otherwise very glad to see another good rom for this device but every android 10 rom for lilac had some bugs.

I don' t understand for what reason to do multitude of roms with crippled things, like it is working ok, but gps and cell not working.
Maybe uniting of all zx1 compact modders will fix things up to bring us one neat room. I am on modpunk's 16.1 version, no google cr#p, iptables fw, vpn. Nice little device.

followed instructions in thread - researched this and saw it on several other devices. Seems to have something to do with forced encryption in android 10.
Even after getting past the setup, I can't enable PIN (or pattern or password either) and therefore fingerprint can't be setup either. Tried dirty flashing the rom just for testing over my backed-up stock rom (with fingerprint and pin configured) and it asks for the pin on startup as expected, but then crashes out and just keeps on asking for the pin.

another issue with the Screen Lock
When you set the "Screen Lock" with None,
the next time after you reboot you can't touch the screen on the desktop,but all touches works fine with the Quick Settings and Power Botton Menus,
seems like the desktop was blocked by 'some kinda invisible lockscreen'
You can change the settings back while you edit the Quick Setting Tiles-enable Immersive mode-short touch to change it to Immersive statusbar-and another long touch to enable it,
then the desktop works and you can change the "Screen Lock" back to Swipe

I accidentally grabbed the July when I flashed it but that was good because I started over from newflasher with the new version and was able to compare the two. This update is very smooth and set up was a lot easier than with the July.
I'm liking this ROM a lot and will be continuing to test it on my spare.

Thanks for this ROM, i liked.
For me does not work finger print, I will retry a new flashing.
I have something of new to ask, I liked all BLISS customization.....
May we have a feature to enable the possibility to HIDE the bottom/footer navigation bar? I prefer to use the floating softkey.

What it is
LineageOS 14.1 is built from official LineageOS sources devices trees and fresh caf 3.4 kernel port. This rom is worked to be as stable as possible to be used as a daily driver.

Who can use it
It's only for Z3/DUAL users with UNLOCKED UPGRADED BOOTLOADER (Devices on 23.5.A.1.291 release)
How to install
First time install:
Make sure your rom is on 23.5.A.1.291 (Marshmallow release)
Power of the device and go into fastboot mode (plug usb + vol down key = blue led)
Flash latest TWRP version | If you are a Dual user, flash zip below before installing Dual version. / Also, if you already have a working TWRP (kernel/adv kernel) you can use the flashable zips below instead.
Shutdown the device
Maintain volume down & power until you see twrp splash screen
Wipe system, dalvik/cache and data
Install rom zip (+ gapps if you need it)
Reboot
Rolling back to Stock
Flash stock rom with emma or flashtool
If you flash with flashtool remember to check wipe apps_log and userdata partitions to get a clean install

No worries you can contribute anyway! Install the rom, do tests, read failure logs, look at internet for potential fix/similar users experience, is the biggest part of debugging. Then collect all of this and write your results here.

No problem, collects logs the right way if you can, explain how you encounter the problem: detailed step to reproduce could be enough: explain exactly how you encounter the error/problem, it should produce each time someone repeat your steps. Then we will be able to fix it.

Will you add stock camera app to this rom ?
It may be a silly question but since Lineage OS add hardware fonctionnality that are device-specific, do you and LOS consider sony stock camera fonctionnality (and by extension app) as hardware fonctionnality that are sony-devices-specific ?

It's not about porting ^^
In every LOS rom, there is some system apps that are device-specific (I think of the off-screen gesture in OnePlus device)
For our device I think about our DRM. It add a lot of optimization for image processing.
So I just ask the devs if they consider DRM and other image processing as equivalent thing to off-screen gesture

I've installed it, and it looks amazing as far as the smoothness and speed is concern though i have to check the battery usage and other apps.. will report later.

Thanks for the update! Unfortunately, calls over BT are still not working on my end. (Build. 20170701 - D6603 - Sony SBH20)
This time I didn't pair my smartwatch just to see if that was the issue, doesn't seem like it.

LineageOS feature. You should be able to change the amount into settings.
On internet you probably can find some way to put that amount to 0.

There is any possibilities to upgrade this kernel (through modifications) into 3.10 or 3.18 keeping camera blobs? @xkeita @nailyk

Ahh .. paused charging is back . It's not bad stuff anyway , just in my country where is hot throughout the year is a lil bit annoying when ur battery low and u can't charge the phone because it's hot .

+1 for this. The device enters Desk Dock mode when a magnetic charger is used, which is really annoying, as it also interrupts Car Dock mode.
@nailyk: What about the Disable Desk Dock sources that I pointed you to?

I noticed a small amount of lag in the camera of the new build (lineage-14.1-20170701-xkeita-z3dual). Previously, I used the version (lineage-14.1-20170629-nailyk-z3dual). Nothing that harms me much. I just came to ask if the other members had the same problem, so I could know how to act.

If you require a LOKI-patched version of TWRP, try this version patched by @mattgyver.
Firmware - Lollipop supporting bootloader and modem / non-hlos. Look in _Bon_Bon's great MODEMS and BOOTLOADERS collectionThe following are "best practice" recommendations for installation, you may be successful using your own routine.
1st install - " clean install "
Make a full nandroid backup <always backup!>.
** OPTIONAL Properly remove previous root solution (recommended - flash Magisk uninstaller and UnSU). **
Fully wipe device (At least system, cache, dalvik and data. Recommended - fully clean by wiping internal and external SD).
Make sure your partitions are formatted as EXT4. Do not use F2FS on pie.
Install Rom.
Install desired root solution. (recommended - Magisk).
Install Gapps.
DO NOT Wipe cache and art / dalvik (rom is partially pre-deodexed).
Reboot.
Wait for 1st boot.
Run through Gapps setup.
Enjoy.
2nd and subsequent installs - " dirty flash "
** OPTIONAL Uninstall all Substratum overlays **
Make a full nandroid backup <always backup!>.
Properly remove previous root solution (recommended - flash Magisk uninstaller and UnSU).
Wipe system, cache and art / dalvik (wiping system is ESSENTIAL for Magisk).

You may wish to disable ambient display if you want your battery to last any time.
This rom is no longer official, for the simple reason I cannot be bothered jumping through the official hoops. OTA will not work ever. It has been completely rebuilt since release 07 so must be clean installed
This rom will not work / will never work on i9515, i9500 and i9506 variants of S4.

Reporting bugs
Proper reporting of issues will help me spend time productively fixing bugs rather than tail chasing vague issues.
Please follow these guidelines.
Reporting bugs
If you wish to report an issue, then the onus is on you to prove the issue.
If you provide exact replication instructions, an idea of how often the issue occurs and logs that enable me to replicate the issue then a fix will be possible ("if you do action 1 then action 2 then action 3 you will find that bug X occurs 100% of the time").
If you give a vague complaint about an issue then I will not look at it without explicit replication instructions and preferably logs ("phone overheats when using game XYZ").
Issues about overheating, battery life or performance should be backed up with information from relevant monitoring apps.
One-off issues generally do not get investigated unless they are well documented and have provided logs.
Issues that are specific to one piece of software will generally not get investigated without logs. I am not very keen on installing software to investigate bugs, especially if I need to create user accounts. If you can replicate the issue on more than one piece of software it will increase the chance of being fixed.
Issues to do with speaker or microphone related issues need to be explicit about which speaker and mic is in use (internal, head phones, earphones, bluetooth headset, Bluetooth speakers), whether normal earpiece or hands free mode is in use, Audio mods that have been installed. Logs may be helpful too.
Issues with media / streaming / playback should be provided with examples.
A picture is worth a thousand words; a movie is thousands of pictures. If you cannot describe your problem in words, post pictures or movies to help show your issue. The rom has in-built screen capture and screen recording tools, so please use them.
It can often be difficult to tell what is going on with logs from a fully loaded system. It can help if you make a nandroid of your current system, format and then make a clean install, with gapps only if needed, and only the app that causes the issue - as minimal a system for replication as possible - then replicate the bug and capture logs. If I then have to replicate the issue I can easily replicate your system.
If you want to send logs for a bug, I would like you to use Syslog.
Perform some of the functionality that is bugged and then capture logs in the app.
If you have had a reboot then capture a set of logs immediately when the system reboots. If the last-kmsg file is empty then the logs are useless.
Type a brief description of the problem in the notes field and your XDA username .
Select to scrub personal information.
Upload it to a web based host (gdrive, dropbox, etc.) and PM the link to me.
And remember:The Drill .... settings > configurations > about > the drill > logcat or GTFO

After all these years...bluetooth calling is making a comeback?
Your ROM was and will always be my favorite one.

Thank you @buff for RR Pie. It's working fine, just two small things i recocnized:
1.. I'm missing the option to unlock the lockscreen by PIN without entering OK/Enter. I can't find this option in securitysettings nor the RR-settings
2. In RR-settings i get force close of settings app by choosing "System UI tuner" in UI settings
I did a clean install.

It's just because they fixed Bluetooth calling so it's just a preview for it before they bring it to the rest of their roms. @Buff99 I hop in correct. :silly:

Pretty much. Explained in post #6 I thought.....
We wanted to get something out with BT calling early, that's all that preview means... to let those people who must have BT calling available preview pie.
There is nothing wrong or cut back or pre-production about this rom. It's the real deal.

Thanks for the beautiful ROM @buff. I have a issue on bluetooth. I connected my phone with my Bluetooth speaker after a few moments Bluetooth automatically off and on and then Bluetooth crash.

Yeah BT still has some issues we are working on, retry with v3 when it arrives.
The combined WiFi / BT chip is the most hideous thing ever, so much that Samsung even had to hack around it in original firmwares.
If you can disable WiFi before using BT you may find it more stable.

Amazing initial version fagyi .. basic functionality seems to be working really good ...
as for bugs i found so far .. i cant enable navbar .. enabling navbar enables some guestures but no soft keys are visible .. .
- full guesture navigation is also partially working .. (back guesture dont work)..
- seek bar from pull down notification bar is also partially working (cannot seek current playing song)
- battery percentage in status bar cant be made visible ( it always remain hidden even when selecting "show next to battery icon" option..
also i have been successfully able to install pixel launcher and make it work .. (to test if navbar needed pixel launcher to work) ..
rest of the stuff is working really good ... only rare stutters once in a while ..
Really enjoying the new flavor of android 10

yeah usb tether and miracast behaving oddly ..
btw .. auto rotate button is it showing up for u ?? the one which showed up in pie when we rotated the screen .. i think its another upstream bug as fagyi mentioned ..

Btw if anyone want to test Pixel 4 Launcher .. here is the flashable Zip for android 10 :

after flash it will show quickstep crash ... just go to settings from notifications shade and set pixel launcher as default .
after install use it for 5 -10 min for things to settle and smoothen out ...

Bluetooth keeps stopping.
I can have phone call with Bluetooth earbuds but as soon as I play any media it keeps disconnecting.
More test shows turning "HD audio: aptx" off solves the problem.
It also does not remember bluetooth volume after disconnection.

Also for wifidisplay needed few blobs.
What i read from logcat:
Wifidisplay needs blobs update missing one or a few for 10.
IMS - Volte symbol issue showed up, maybe after this will be solved we get volte on our device but not sure.

i am guessing gesture navigation is broken because hardware buttons are not being disabled completely after enabling soft keys ? do u think that would need changes in kernel or it will be solved with upstream fixes @fagyi ?

i am without magisk here and i just rebooted to check this .. i can confirm the fingerprints got deleted after reboot ..
Bluetooth working fine for me however .

Anyone is successful with Magisk 19.4? After installing it, I don't see the Magisk Manager app. I've tried to install the manager manually but it said no Magisk installed.

You can ignore as it is not causing the problem.
Should be fixed in Future builds

What whit pixelexperience on this rom ? New Google Assistant ? And possible fake gps use as an system app ?

its really nice deep customization , stable and last charge 11hrs ago 4hrs 26mins screen usage im left with 15% now .. should be better as your phone get used to the rom etc ..

So there are a few minor things I noticed after flashing and setting up my phone:
1) During google setup, the buttons at the bottom right like "Next"/"I agree" etc are grayed out like they cant be pressed when they are actually able to be pressed.
2) Hiding the home pill with full gesture mode (disabled nav bar) does not hide the pill (Edit: it works after re-selecting Gesture mode.)
3) Device doesn't recognize voice during "Ok Google" setup.
4) Bliss Updater shows "Failed to connect to server! Try again later!"
Nothing major for me though. Will keep testing and report if there are further issues.

so after you select hide pill, how did u save that option to apply that change cause anytime i choose to hide pill and go back its unselected again

So what I did was with the hide enabled, i clicked to use full screen gestures again, not the hide button. Maybe you can try switching to 2/3 button and back to gestures again
Edit: I noticed that it was because there is actually an "OK" button at the bottom right under the slider for hiding pill that is not visible. Try pressing around under the slider for hide pill after you made your changes.

Hi guys, i have two (probably stupid) questions:
- Can I flash this rom on RMX3363 ?
- Where do I find LOS recovery?

Okay Stupid question from me. don't be harsh.
I was looking forwards to having Pixel Experience for this phone. But as this is the first official support for this rom, I am highly tempted to try it out. So the question is how similar/different is this rom from Pixel Experience? Is it based off LOS as it needs LOS recovery?
also would twrp recovery work? I am much more comfortable with twrp as I have been using it since Nexus 4 days.

Hi!
I have some problems with my sensors. NFC and fingerprint optical sensor are not working. Are there any calibration tools or flashable fix zip for them? I had a stock A04 firmware on RMX3363. I manually flashed the extracted payload.bin (with dumper) then sideloaded the PE OS with the custom recovery. I have the latest magisk with boot.img install (systemless root) but I can edit every system file (this build is awesome). Everything work perfectly except these two stuff. Can I solve this problem or should I wait for a bugfix?

everything is clean and perfect but there's a slow charging issue with this rom. phone is not charging on 65 watt

I tried everything to fix fingerprint scanner issue. The dialer codes aren't working (for engineer mode calibration), sideloaded OS for both slots (I think this is a noob method anyway but I tried it). Restored persist.img (there's no data in the engineermode folder at all). I figured out that Google Pixel users suffered from a fingerprint scanner issue for months. There's a June update for Pixel devices which fixed this issue. I didn't try that but I can offer this update for our Developers to analyze it.
I'm waiting for the next update, hopefully it will fix the fingerprint and NFC issue.
Anyway, everything else's working properly on my device, thanks for Developers!
I've got the full root rights now to modify everything in /product or even /system finally. I couldn't do this on stock ColorOS with systemless Magisk so thank you again

BUG REPORT : mobile search not working , not working 2/3/4G ...mode , Search does not work in any mode. In the logcat attachment, thanks

Hi! I tested the v1.8, fingerprint sensor is not working. Fingerprint option is still missing from security settings. Fast charge and NFC work well now. Nice job!
Funny little thing I noticed in 1.7 and 1.8 Project Elixir and in Lineage for RMX3360 that lock screen acts like there would be any working fp process. If I push for the fp sensor's empty place on the lock screen with long-time tap it unlocks. If I just tap on this place the screen keeps locked.
+1: When I run any root sensor tests they think that LineageOS is the manufacturer of fingerprint sensor.

Greetings I'm new and I speak Spanish I'm using the translator sorry for that, I'm a custom rom lover and I've been using PROJECT ELIXIR for realme GT ME RMX3363 for 2 weeks and it works perfect very few details
1 automatic brightness high and constant low
2 when switching between tasks in the bottom bar the reaction is late
3 fingerprint sensor is not actvIe
My congratulations for this work is really great, I will continue using it since I can't find a way to return to the stock rom and because I want to wait for the next updates waiting to correct these bugs
