S20 screen brightness - Samsung Galaxy S20 / S20+ / S20 Ultra Questions &

I compared the S20 against the S10+ at several stores. The screens were set the same, at full brightness, and adaptive display turned off. In all cases the S10+ plus was brighter. The S20 seemed darker, even a bit gray. Is this possible? Because it makes a difference when taking and looking at photos and makes me want to buy the S10+.

Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra PWM frequency?

I'm really interested buying Samsung Galaxy S20 ultra but prior would like to find out what is the PWM frequency?
A while back I had Samsung Galaxy S7 and I absolutely loved it but after 5 minutes of staring the screen I had a massive eye strain and headache, because PWM screen flickering.
Not sure but here is an in depth analysis of the S20 Ultra screen: http://www.displaymate.com/Galaxy_S20_ShootOut_1U.htm
Maybe that will help, good luck!
Best way to tell is use the slow motion feature of your smart phone camera. Go into the store, on the display model and put something on the screen that is bright white. Take video of the screen and make note of flicker, bars, or anything else that you see. If it looks solid white then you should not have any issues with your eyes!
I buy s20+, I want to sell it now because it causes me eye strain, this is the first time I feel this headache for a phone . i have s3,s7,s9 before. this new tech oled display is the reason

S20+ Exynos Camera colors are way off

I have had this phone for almost a month now, and the colors I usually get are overly saturated, not S10 or Note 10 like saturation, but old Huawei phones kinda saturation. Mind you, I use the natural colors mode on my phone, and I can still see how much boosted the colors are.
I took few pictures and sent them to my wife's exynos S10+ to compare them with similar shots. HDR and details are defe3 much better, but even the saturated pictures taken by the S10 looks natural and even dull when compared to the S20+ pictures. And it's even worse when I take pictures using night mode.
And no, I don't believe it's a hardware issue, as it happens under certain conditions and not always. The image processing is way off.
And yes, the two updates that supposedly have "fixed" early issues, hasn't done anything to fix the colors issue.

FHD+ resolution drop

Hello. I recently bought an s20+ and am finding that when I select the FHD+ resolution so I can utilise the 120khz refresh rate, all the icons appear soft and sort of low res. When I switch to WQHD+ the icons then appear sharp but when I switch back there is a very noticeable change. I thought the displays on these phone were supposed to be the best around and am really confused as to why the dispay looks so bad if I want the 120khz.
What's really strange is that my mum has a s20 FE and her icons are perfectly crisp and sharp, very noticibly better than mine and hers is running at 120khz.
The performance running 60khz is so different to 120khz so I'm just overall really disappointed that I have to sacrifice to use it. Is that a common thing to experience with the s20?

Question S22 in Sunlight Issue

Hi - I just got an S22 and am trying it and comparing to my S9 which I still love.
I was just using them side by side outdoors in direct sunlight and the S9 is MUCH easier to see. The S9 is totally viewable and the S22 is barely viewable. The S9 has much less reflection and everything is lighter and brighter on the screen.
Based purely on screen brightness I think this should not be the case? They are both on max brightness.
I am trying to see if there is perhaps a setting involved I am missing? Would be really disappointing as the S22 is almost not usable in the direct sunlight for me (granted I dont have the best eyesight).
Any suggestions? Thanks
Try using auto brightness setting not manual.
For what it's worth. I've compared my S21 and S22 side by side with the same settings, the S22 was much easier to see in direct sunlight.
I'd go through and make the settings are okay.

Question A54 Yellow Tint

Just bought a Samsung A54 5G and noticed when I am looking straight at the phone on anything supposed to be white, there is a yellowish tint to 3/4th of the screen and then 1/4th will be way more white/blueish. If I tilt the phone in any direction slightly you can see the yellow tint moving across the screen, is this a normal thing for Samsung screens as I am coming from an OPPO which did not have this. Here is a link to a video of what I mean, although it is kind of hard to tell.

Should mention eye comfort and adaptive brightness are off. Also the setting is on Vivid with cool to the max.
Video not watchable.
Not noticed anything like this on mine.
